" Have just booked for my 5thb time at... "

Have just booked for my 5thb time at this hotel so that ought to tell you how good it is. Initially I came with my husband 4yr old and 16 week baby and family friends of identical ages.

Having found a gem of a hotel I have visited again for girls only luxury weekends. The food is fresh plentiful and tasty. Aerobics classes were cancelled and gym sparse. Paraiso a short walk over beach having duty free shop and perfume shop. wonderful hotel. You will not be disappointed.

" Having just returned from this hotel... "

Having just returned from this hotel I have booked to go again in August, we could not fault this hotel at all, although our room was on the ground floor with a side sea view it was still lovely with air con and ceiling fan, minibar bar with beer, soft drinks and crisps that was restocked every day, there are 3 al a carte restaurants to choose from as well as the main buffet restaurant and snack bar by the pool and the food was superb in all. You have to book for the al a Carte restaurants as they are only open certain days and to make sure you get a decent time. You can even pour your own drinks, all in all a very relaxing hotel in beautiful grounds. Well worth a visit

" Having read the positive reviews on... "

Having read the positive reviews on this site, we booked to go to this hotel about 8 weeks ago. We had previously been to a number of all-inclusive hotels in Fuerteventura, Spain and The Canary Islands, and had never had any real problems, but at the same time, we have never felt the desire to return to the same hotel. Not the case with this wonderful place.

From arriving at the grand entrance, we were welcomed by the most attentive of staff, who took our luggage and showed us in to the reception area. This service didn’t stop throughout our weeks stay and whether it be the friendly greetings from all staff or the little touches in your room, such as the towel swans' and frequently restocked mini bar - this hotel make every effort to please you.
Never have we seen so much choice or so much fresh food on an all-inclusive holiday and I would find it hard to believe anyone who says that they didn’t have anything to eat. The 24 hours snack bar is 24 hours and the food is cooked freshly whilst you wait.

There is entertainment within the hotel for kids and adults and once again the staff make every effort to amuse. We only left the hotel once during our stay to go on the fabulous Royal Delfin cruise, although so many guests didn’t leave the hotel because it’s so lovely and there’s so much to do!

To those of you reading these positive reviews, wondering whether it really can be that good, we felt exactly the same 8 weeks ago. But I assure you, it can be.

Already we are planning our next stay at Bahia Principe Costa Adeje, and looking forward to returning.

" This was my second visit to this... "

This was my second visit to this hotel and did not let me down again. The staff were wonderful and the food in the various restaurants was outstanding. The pools were rather cold but the areas around them were well kept and extremely clean.

The only slight downside was the location. It is a bit far out and a taxi is about 12 euros into playa de las Americas.

Will defiantly be going back.

" This hotel is excellent - we have... "

This hotel is excellent - we have booked again for December 2005. The hotel has a number of restaurants serving different dishes. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is very clean. Although its a little tucked out of the way its nice and peaceful but its only a fiver in a taxi to Las Americas and there’s a hotel bus that runs a couple of times throughout the day.

There are two massive pools with loads of sunloungers!

Hotel is situated on a cliff side, its built on levels, not so good for people who struggle with walking.

We had a great time (six adults and three kids)

" On entering the Bahia the reception... "

On entering the Bahia the reception area itself is very grand , along with a warm welcome from the staff you get a welcome drink too .

This was our third visit to the Bahia and was even better than the first we were treated like royalty , because we had been before there was champagne and fruit in our room, the room as always is spotless with a mini bar that gets filled on a daily basis bottled water and beer and of course soft drinks.

All inclusive is the way to go and the restaurants at this complex never fail to impress, we ate Asian , Mexican and Italian too , the food in the buffet is also FAB!!

The children’s club is the best ever all the staff were super , the nightly entertainment however isn’t brilliant but highly enjoyable. Go to the Bahia if young want first class all the way !!! Towels are changed every day !! And leave your beach towels at home as they supply those too all in all 10/10

" We spent 7 days at this fantastic... "

We spent 7 days at this fantastic resort, and returned on the 28th June '04. I went with my husband, Mum and Dad, Nan and Granddad, with ages ranging from 30 to 80! We booked through Sunstar Leisure, and got a really good deal.

The whole set up of this hotel resort was fantastic, with two massive pools, and panoramic sea views. We stayed in the Lanzarote building (without a sea or pool view) however the room had a nice terrace/ patio area, so could still sit out of an evening and watch the sunsets. The room themselves were attractive and spacious, with full complimentary minibar, a/c, hairdryer, shampoos/conditioners and TV.

The food at the resort was good, with a wide selection of choices and restaurants available, to cater for most tastes. Drinks were also plentiful, and the cappuccino coffees in the main bar were to die for! We also found the staff very polite, helpful and friendly.

The hotel complex/resort is spread out over quite a large area, with a lot of stairs and slopes, so if you are not fully fit, this might be quite hard going, however there are lots of lifts throughout should you need them.

Location: It is in a fairly isolated area, however the bustling Playa de las Americas and the lovely upmarket Playa del Duque beach are only a 5-10 minute taxi ride away. It would have been nice to have a few bars or shops nearby but nearly everything that you really need can be found within the Bahia Principe resort.

We definitely felt that the Bahia Principe was well worthy of its 4+ star rating, and we would definitely visit again.

" This is the first time that I have... "

This is the first time that I have visited this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to ‘get away from it all’.

There is nothing for children to do except play in the pool, so if you have children I would not advise a stay here.

The hotel is very clean with an excellent choice of food and restaurants, which are pre-book able.

Another extra special touch is the ‘free’ in room bar!

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate my sisters 40th birthday and the staff left her a bottle of champagne and some chocolates in the room which was a really nice thought.

" Wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing... "

Wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing as husband was recovering from serious op, and this was the perfect place. The accommodation was spotless and the choice of food and drinks were fantastic, the whole complex is beautifully laid out with a great selection of pool areas and is spotlessly clean.

The staff are very friendly and very helpful at all times. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for nice relaxing holiday although not for anyone looking for all night clubbing. Will definitely be going back

" Hotel was lovely food was the best we... "

Hotel was lovely food was the best we have had. The downside was, that this hotel is isolated on a cliff and when you are All Inclusive you want some entertainment, this was nearly none existent. For the money we paid we would have liked something better than 30 minutes worth. At 9:30 when the pool bar closed you had to walk half a mile to the nearest bar outside side of the hotel.

" Comments = Excellent holiday all... "

Comments = Excellent holiday all round. The whole place was pristine, including the rooms and the grounds. Food was delicious, beautifully presented and available by the bucket load. We are not talking chips with everything here - fresh fish and fantastic salads, local specialities, delicious desserts, and enough variety to keep a non-wheat eater like me very happy indeed. The AI drinks included a delicious local cava (bubbly), and the beer was tasty and refreshing. And we did not see any problems with hygiene at all.

This is well worth a visit for a chill-out holiday. We have already booked to go back again - only one of many repeat visitors, judging from the people we met while we were there.

Do go! You'll love it.

" Having just returned from holiday, I... "

Having just returned from holiday, I would like to highlight the serious lack of basic food preparation hygiene displayed by the Bahia Principe. And would not recommend the place to anyone who is bothered about sharing their meals with various insects and pigeons. There was no air conditioning in operation in the restaurants and thus the place was crawling with flies. On one of the nights a cockroach like insect was found in a breadbasket and you literally had to fish insects out of the salads and buffets (there are three al' a carte restaurants to choose from that can be used three times a week but they were even worse than the main restaurants). Even more frustrating, the managements and tour operators (first Choice) answer was that as there is no law in Spain regarding the covering of food they were therefore not going to. IE they adhere to the VERY BASIC requirements permitted and didn't do anything during our stay to rectify the problem. The Bahia Principe itself is a very nice place. House keeping, the pool area and poolside snack bar (where you would expect insects) was the best we've experienced. In summery we felt very annoyed and disappointed that after paying so much for an all included deal, it was ruined by the restaurants. If you are going to this place and you consider food and meals an important aspect of your holiday I would suggest taking extra money to eat out or changing venue if you can.

" What a fab hotel the Bahia Principe... "

What a fab hotel the Bahia Principe this is !!!!!!This hotel is listed as being in Costa Adeje, but it is in fact around the coastline in Playa Pariso - which is basically 4 1970's style hotels and a local village - nothing to see or do there, don't be put off though. If you want fabulous food, immaculate rooms, pool, gardens and restaurants it is wonderful, honestly. e went x4 adults for a week to relax and unwind and that's just what we did. when they say all inc they mean it. Look up Bahia Principe on the web - the pictures speak for themselves. The pool area is huge & unbelievable clean and the views of the sea fab.
If there was any down side it was that the evening entertainment was on early - for us anyway by end of dinner (for us 9.30) it was just finishing. and the lobby bar closed at 11 so stock up beforehand, or walk down to pool bar -open all night! quite a walk to pool bar from main lounge/restaurant-say 10/15 mins.
All rooms at the Bahia Principe have sea view, but on the other side you also look over the other hotels and the construction of a new one, we were on this side it didn't ruin our holiday but would have preferred to look out over the pool. Don't think there is extra charge for this so email hotel before going and request - you can but try!
Get taxi to Fanabe - no prob 10 euros.
In summary - nowhere to walk and "promenade" but hotel is so big its like a mini village(5/10 for location, 10/10 for everything else.
