Just returned from the Bahia Principe Costa Adeje, what a fab holiday would definitely go back and recommend to others. Two weeks all inclusive, hotel was spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Staff really friendly. What a choice for food restaurants included A La carte Oriental, Fish, Mexican, Spanish and Italian. Husband was really pleased as the beer taps were facing the wrong way around and you had to help yourself. Only disappointing thing was The Plaza sports bar wasn't included in the All Inclusive. Entertainment upstairs was ok, great for little kids, the lobby bar entertainment was a bit better. Not much around so great if you want a relaxing holiday.

This is a lovely hotel set in a fantastic resort.
The only thing we didn’t like was the fees to pay for the privilege of having a fridge in you room.
Fantastic holiday. The beach so very close by and you could use the facilities at the adjacent hotel the guyamina, which was also lovely.
There is a taxi rank outside and fares are cheap so we headed of to las americas a few nights.
There’s some lovely bars on the beach where you can relax.

The meals were lovely the kids club was fun. Ester was a good and funny entertainer. It was very hot I spent most of the time in the pool I loved the Jacuzzi.
The entertainment was brilliant, the acting was good had burgers at ten a clock in the night but at home mum and dad would not let me eat that late. But I had a lovely time and thank you to all the staff. Megan.
My daughter wrote the above paragraph but I would like to say a few words on the holiday. We have visited Tenerife now five times in the last eight years and it is the island I enjoy most to holiday on.
Bahia Principe is by far the best hotel we as a family have stayed at with the food being out of this world. My daughter has said the entertainment was brilliant but from an adults eyes I found it at this hotel to be very disappointing...
It was not through lack of effort from the entertainment staff it was mainly due to trying to cater for too many nationalities speaking too many different languages and the entertainment finished far too early.
Once it had finished that was it for the night nothing else to do.
The pro's far outweighed the cons and I would recommend this place to visit and holiday at but be prepared for the quiet evenings. Peter Squire, Megans dad.

Spent 1 week at this great hotel in a junior suite, all inclusive with 2 adults and 2 kiddies.
We managed to get some cheap flights and a good deal on the hotel. We were quoted a lot more from a high street travel agent, so we were pleased with the price.
Hotel is just fantastic for children and couples alike.
Pools are great as was the food and staff. Could not fault anything at all.
The only downside I can see, is there is not much around the hotel but we did not leave the hotel, as it had everything we needed.
We have booked again for the summer, as this hotel is very popular and gets booked up very quickly.

Just returned from celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at this hotel and must report back that it was absolutely fabulous, you will not be disappointed!
From some of the comments we read before we went, we were a bit worried however, it was truly 5 star.
From our Junior suite in the Adeje block with beautiful sea views which was spotlessly clean, to the endless food and drink available 24hrs and even the entertainment in the evening was relaxing!
We did not leave the resort the whole week, there was no need, everything you could possibly want was there and the staff could not have been more helpful or courteous.
Look forward to returning.

I have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Bahia Principe, and there are a number of things to say about this hotel - some good, and some bad.
Firstly, the pools are fantastic! One of the pools has an amazing ocean view, and there are plenty of sun beds to go around (even if the parasols are scarce)! Also, the water was very clean (confirmed by a fellow holiday maker I met who services pools for a living)!
However, there are a number of small issues with this hotel that if rectified could turn this into a great resort to visit;
The entertainment is truly awful. The worst I have ever seen. If you want something to do in the evening do not come to this hotel!
The bar shuts at 11, which is far too early. Also, there are huge queues there from 10.30 as everyone tries to stock up for the night.
The inclusive wine is really terrible, and so it cost a fortune having to buy other non-inclusive wine every night with our meal. The lager however is fine!
The service in the buffet restaurant is terrible, and they forget everything! The al a carte restaurants however are much better.
The food in the buffet restaurant is very repetitive, and certainly lacked the wow factor. That said, we always managed to find something to eat.
The mini bar in the room was only restocked every two days, and you only get two small bottles of water. It's a wonder we didn't die from dehydration! We asked for more water at reception and they said no! Shocking for an all inclusive holiday!
Apart from these points, the hotel was nice, very clean, and as I said above, it has amazing sea views. My advice to you if you are staying here is to go on lots of excursions (the dolphin & whale trip is amazing). Also, be prepared for early nights as there is absolutely nothing to do after 11pm!
Would I stay here again? No. I would look to Costa Adeje itself where there is far more going on, a better overall location, and some fantastic looking hotels that I am going to investigate for my next trip. Stay away from Playa though, unless of course you like staying next door to a McDonalds!

This was our third visit. Unfortunately they seem to have cut down on things - particularly the number of staff, rooms not ready with a 3 hour wait, in previous years porters have been available for luggage - there was a 2-3 hour wait for a porter.
Sheets were changed every day in previous years with a turn-down service, quoted three times each week in brochure - only happened once, again, it's lack of cleaning staff. Meals in restaurant not as good. It's not the standard that it has been in previous years.
I do hope they return to their previous standards as it's a beautiful setting and wonderful hotel.

Great Hotel and Food.
We went to celebrate my Sisters 40 Birthday so there was a group of 8 adults and 3 children. I had booked a junior suite while others had normal rooms.
The hotel is spotless and the food and service was great. Only downsides is that the entertainment is not fantastic but we had a young family so was in bed!!
Other things to be careful is that if you go as a group you can get separated into the two parts of the hotel. My advice would be to specify and then e-mail the hotel directly before you depart.
Other things to do are fitness suite with a squash court. There is a small beach but we knew this on booking so was not a problem. The pools are great with plenty of sunbeds to go around
All together a great holiday that I would highly recommend

This is the best hotel we had stopped in first class the rooms were spotless the minibar was filled daily we had towels changed twice daily with chocolates brought to the room nightly.
The food was of a high standard the snack bar food was also good, the entertainment was poor though or not to my taste but this is a minor fault would recommend car hire as it was out of the main resort would recommend to any one as i have booked again.

Wonderful holiday, it had something for everyone. There was a vast range of food and drink, the Italian a la carte restaurant was particularly great. The actual hotel was beautifully designed and the reception was amazing not to mention the receptionists who were very friendly and willing to help. There was not one part of the holiday that was not enjoyed.
The only one problem was the location although this was not a problem for me as a quiet holiday was the specification and this is the perfect place to go and relax. Do not go if you want a lively beach holiday. The rooms are luxury and the refilling of the mini bar is brilliant, it is the cleanest and most well maintained hotel that i have stayed in i have never seen so many gardeners etc.. and the pool was cleaned so often. Absolutely wonderful!!!

Have just booked for my 5thb time at this hotel so that ought to tell you how good it is. Initially I came with my husband 4yr old and 16 week baby and family friends of identical ages.
Having found a gem of a hotel I have visited again for girls only luxury weekends. The food is fresh plentiful and tasty. Aerobics classes were cancelled and gym sparse. Paraiso a short walk over beach having duty free shop and perfume shop. wonderful hotel. You will not be disappointed.

I went on a weeks holiday with a lot of family members including some small children. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I found the rooms very clean, the food very nice and the swimming areas lovely. One of the pools was heated so it was great, the entertainment through the day was fantastic and the staff make every effort to get you involved and always remembered your name. The entertainment at night wasn't so good and the bar shut at 11 o'clock so it was lights out after that as there was nothing in the area.
Overall I would recommend this as a family holiday.
