We took a flight to Athens then drove over the mountains to the southern tip of the Greek peninsular. In the unspoilt and picturesque fishing village of Koroni our freshly landed seafood was delivered straight to our harbour front table. Each day we took a stroll uphill and marvelled below. Stretched out below was one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches in the world. Zagra beach swept along for a couple of golden miles and the charming beachfront taverna provided a perfect shady spot to relax and take in the breathtaking views.

The hotel Diana is very nice, clean rooms, all air conditioned and close to the harbour and all the taverna´s, restaurants etc. There is lots of parking space (free of charge).
The only thing is that there is hardly anyone to be found at the reception. If that is the case just go to the left (when facing the hotel entrance) around the first corner there is a ´lotto´ shop were they will know were the owner is.
Koroni is a lovely place to be. I have travelled all around the Peleponeses and I think is the best, very relaxed, good restaurants, nice taverna´s, great beaches. The beaches are difficult to reach by foot. Koroni is perfect for a holiday!
