This year was the fifth year there, staff are fantastic, the two Carolines on reception are extremely helpful, Astrid is fantastic, with the activities being at their best since I have been going.
The bar terrace food is fantastic and the staff are brilliant.
The Robbie Williams tribute is out of this world, good guy, with a great voice, not too be missed.
Don't use the sunbeds on the beach - very expensive
All in all we will be back next year.
thank you all for a fantastic holiday xxx

I was very surpised when we arrived at Vista Blanes to be given a voucher for a free drink because we could not check into our room straight away - nice touch!
There were three of us two adults and one 16 year old son!
The other surprise was to find the two bedroom apartment also had two bathrooms (no mention of this in the Thomson or First Choice brochures). The apartment was well equipped, clean and tidy. Mades came in three times a week to change bed linen etc.
If I had to have a moan about the Vista Blanes at all it would be that for the amount of apartments there are in the complext the pool is not big enough and the sun terraces are not big enough!
We ate at the Pirate Bar quite a lot - food was lovely and Sergio and his colleagues could not have been nicer.
My favourite place to eat though would have to be Es Pitus just round the corner from the apartment complex - the saff were great and the food was lovely. Bianco's on "the strip" was nice as well but Es Pitus was definately our favourite.
I would say that on average our meals were about 10 euros more expense than when we were in Menorca in 2009 but you get what you pay for and you are on your holidays aftetall!
Some people have made comments about the entertainment at the pool during the day - all I can say is that there wasn't any! In the whole two weeks we were there I think water polo was played once and "killer pool" about eight times. The evening entertainment was a bit better I hasten to add.
Had a great holiday - just a pity the weather was not a little bit better, it was overcast for the last three days!

Just returned from Vista Blanes Apartments and had the best week ever. Went with my husband and we both needed a week of doing nothing and this is what we did. Lovely apartment, lovely pool, quiet place, the only down side was the nearest town was approx 20 minutes walk but other than that want to go back ASAP. Would suit couples or families who want a relaxing week.

The only bad thing about Vista Blanes i would say is that the pool was far to cold me, a few other people and for kids. Other than that the food is good price and very tasty also the barbecue on a Saturday is out of this world. The staff are helpful and friendly, the entertainment from Astrid was excellent not only for kids but for adults as well (all day everyday) Robbie Tribute on a Tuesday is outstanding and will definitely make your holiday more enjoyable. If u want a good breakfast and good food Churchills pub is 2 minutes from the apartments at a really good price run by richard and ian and keith the chef.
If you want a cheap shop theres a street across from churchills go down there and its cheaper than any other.
also theres a place there called Es Pitus which does great food for the family and has a small kid's room. Cuitadella is great for shopping and has a market in the square on a Friday and Saturday. Cala n Forcat is also very good for food as it has the Bianco restaurant which is good value for money. It also has a square which has entertainment every night of the week.
We will be looking at going back next year as we had such a great time and the staff were so friendly. Also at Vista Blanes the rep charlotte is amazing and very very helpful with everything.

Apartment was great, clean and comfortable. All prices in supermarkets and restaurants are not cheap and very hard to find reasonably priced Spanish food as everything is English and with chips! Arrived the first day of the season 1st May and everywhere was very quiet with only a handful of people walking around the town and they were Spanish on holiday. Livened up our 2nd week but still very quiet. The local beaches are not very good and very small so we hired a car and found glorious beaches within 10 - 35 mins drive away - well worth it. Try and get a deal with the car because everywhere is really struggling with no customers. The reason for the high prices is because there is so much half board or all inclusive which is ruining the shops etc. Quite understand going all inclusive because we spent a lot on food etc so it worked out more expensive. Overall a good place to stay if you want it a bit lively of a night (it's not Magaluf so I mean a bit of music) because all other resorts we visited only had hotels with entertainment plus a couple of supermarkets and bars - very quiet. Don't visit if you want glorious beach. Go to Cala Galdana, Santa Tomas, Son Bou.

- Advice: Eat in the town as there are some good deals but found everything expensive and mostly english food - chips with everything! Hard to find spanish food.

Me, my partner and two year old boy stayed here earlier this year.
The rep, Charlotte, was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile when our son had an accident. Despite being very busy, she still went out of her way to take care of us. The local doctor was also very kind.
The apartment was clean, yet was a little dated and had no TV.
The pool was nice, yet strangely quite cold, even on a hot day.
The food at the apartment cafe was particularly bad, I would avoid eating here at all.
The resort of Cala N Blanes is a 10 minute walk away. The resort is small, but ideal for families. Most bars have their own bouncy castles which are free for customers to use.
The beach is small, but beautiful and sandy. It's a small sheltered cove and perfect for swimming. DO NOT USE THE SUN LOUNGERS ON THE BEACH. The owners are running a classic scam where they turn up and demand around £17 per lounger. Just bring a beach towel instead.
I'd recommend visiting the waterpark early on your holiday, as you get to come back a second time free. The waterpark is great fun and you can spend the whole day there.
We wouldn't visit Menorca again as it is so expensive. A pint of lager is typically the equivalent of £3-£4 and a meal and drink for two comes to around £35. The holiday itself may seem cheap, but the expensive food and drink make up for it!

Just got back from vista blanes and had the most wonderful time. Everything was good very clean, rep really friendly and nothing too much trouble. Pool was amazing but bit cold the sea was warmer!!! Apartements were very clean and maid service was twice a week with clean towels and bedding. Apartements could really do with updating but they were clean and lots of storage. Everthing went so well was really sad to have to come home would most def do it again.

As a mid-60's couple, we were apprehensive on arrival at this family-orientated complex. We soon found it to be perfect. The young families enhanced our enjoyment, and in our second week they had mostly gone home as school had restarted.
The apartment quality was first class, by no means basic. Anyone who feels it was basic should try Greek studio living. Spotlessly clean everywhere, linen/towels changed frequently and the outide areas meticuluosly kept.
The reception staff were extremely friendly and hepful, and all bi-lingual.
The surrounding area is of a good standard, and there is a frequent bus service into Ciutadella, where other buses are available to other parts of the island.
This was our first visit to Menorca, and we loved it.

Just returned from vista blanes appartments and on the whole had a good family holiday,Appartments are basic but very clean and comfortable.Daytime by the pool is very relaxing or take a 3 minute walk down to the beach which is small but very relaxing. The pool sde bar serves food throughout the day which is ok but not a massive menu to select from although fairly priced.
Evening entertainment is varied with Elvis and the Motown acts being very very good to some of the others being very very average. For a nice meal out visit Pirates Cove on the beach and enjoy your evening watching the sun set over the sea.The main strip is a ten minute walk away with many places to eat and drink.
The only down side to our stay was the fact that some evenings people were messing about in the swimming pool well after midnight, and then the sun bed bandits were up dragging sunbeds around at around 6 am to get the positions they wanted for much later in the day!crazy when there were enough sunbeds for everyone.with only British people at the appartments we cant blame the Germans this time. When we mentioned the above two things to the reception staff they were not really interested and just shrugged there shoulders and said they would mention it to the duty manager ,The Thomson rep said pretty much the same but we never had any feedback and the situation was the same all holiday.
Despite this we would return to vista blanes but would insist on an appartment that dosn't overlook the pool

we arrived about 8.45pm and were handed a piece of paper with directions to our appartment,on going in we decided to dump our cases and get something to eat as it was late then come back and sleep,i went in the bedroom and pulled the bedding back to air the beds for our return only to find on doing so that they were covered in human hair needless to say i slept on the sofa that night.Next morning we explored our appartment and urrgh the bath had sludge and bugs in it after cleaning it we found there was no enamel on the bottom of the bath...ouch, the shower rail was so rusty that when you pulled the curtain back you got covered in rust, there was a hole in the wall the toilet was broken and the strip light above the sink was at least half an inch in grime,oh and the toilet roll holder well lets put it this way we got our own loo roll to use, on moving a cabinet in the living room we found a cockroach, well i went to reception and was told 1.we dont have cockroaches and 2. the appartment had been cleaned. We decided to cook 1 night and after my husband had eventually managed to get the pans off the shelf they were welded to because of the muck didnt do so again,On 3 seperate occaisions i spoke to our rep and asked for a complaint form she simply was not interested and i have had to go in to the shop on the day of my return armed with lots of photo,s. to make a complaint. If you want a holiday on comparrison with roughing it and dont mind dirty places then this is for you ,we have stayed just up the road at the tallyott wich is the same key rating and have to say there is simply no comparison my holiday was horrible and i would not go here again and this is our fith year to this part of the island all i can say is avoid this place
