ive stayed in the columbus 4 yrs ago self catering with a group of girls this time i went with my family all inclusive it was a absolute JOKE one drink per person in the bar away from the main bar & pool it was a horrendous SANKS HAHA cheese & ham in bread and grilled one side and that was it for the snaks The bar closed 11 oclock and the entertainment started at 11.15 The food was disgusting and the same thing everyday the rooms were very basic the springs had gone in the beds and they were all stained The pools were to cold to go in COCKROACHE dead on the floor and around the pool The staff were very unfriendly NEVER AGAIN WOULD I STAY IN THIS HOTEL I WOULDNT ADVICE ANYONE TO STAY THERE

myself and my cousin as always stayed all inclusive everytime we go away but this is the worst ever if it was my 1st time i wouldnt want to do it again.one drink per person and queing was horrendous im disabled and told the staff there and all they did was laugh at us,we tried on the 1st day to get in touch with our rep but couldnt we left messages on his mobile with no reply we got there friday and saw our rep on wed he wasnt interested in what we had to say...it was a clean-ish hotel but i slipped on wet floors,got no satisfaction from anyone spent 3 days in my bed,that was by walking from one end of the hotel to the other with drinks,so wet floors.food was ok but save some cash if ur flying later as they took our al bands offer us on the morning we were going home we wasnt getting picked up til 2.30 but again our transfers didnt turn up,so we had to get a taxi there ourself really bad service,the drinks finished at 11 and entertainment started at 11.30 rubbish all in all...so badly run never go back..staff was very ignorant and rude.i was mis sold and told a load of lies from the guy who sold me this(holiday)NOT.we was really depressed wen we got home our poor husbands didnt no wot had hit em,i cant talk about wen i even think about i just wanna cry i spent all my money on this so called holiday and now cant get another one it was so bad im even thinking of going to watch dog.STAY AWAY DONT GO

this hotel was very nice clean and friendly all inclusive food was nice the only night we went out for something to eat my husband got food poisoned so did not eat out the rest of our stay. 207 where we stayed was clean not a cockrouch to been seen. pool nice could not stay in to long very cold. clean towles evrey day. 4 bars 1 of these where all inclusive long time to wait for 1 drink per person will go back but go half board and pay for your drink we wher batter treated when we payed.

holiday started off by being greeted by 2 miserable male reception staff... never seen them smile all week.
accomodation very basic and kitchen area not too clean.
never any hot water on an evening, seemed like the hotel boiler could not cope with the volume of people using it.
very noisy staff cleaning terraces at about 7.45am every morning.
hotel entertainment very disappointing.
on the plus side..
clean towells daily and we had a very nice cleaning lady who strangely, for the staff in this hotel was also very friendly.
beautiful sun terrace with 2 spotlessly clean jaccuzzi's (highlight of the hotel)
would not stay here again,

Make sure you leave no valuables in the luggage room, when you waiting to leave.
We left our suitcases in there for 3 hours, our locks got snapped and my girlfriend had £150 worth of jewlerry stolen. Also all our christmas presents from duty free etc.. Aftersaves, Purfumes.
Really ruined our holiday, when we found everything had gone, when we got to the airport!

This hotel is the worst all inclusive me and my family have stayed in. Unhelpful reception staff, dirty rooms, and only 1 drink per person allowed at the all inclusive bar at any one time. The drinks at the bar were poor quality and completely different to the drinks at the bar where you paid. The bar staff at the AI bar were unfriendly and had a dont care attitude. Whereas the other bar staff were friendly and helpful. The room we had 206 overlooked what seemed like the noisest road in Tenerife. Our room also overlooked a disco bar that was noisy Friday and Saturday nights, the noise went on until 6.30 in the mornings. When we complained all we got was that the disco did not belong to the hotel. We would not go back to this hotel if they gave us a free holiday. Take our advice stay clear of the place.

This hotel is really awful, the staff are unplesant and the bathroom or the floors were not cleaned the whole week we were there. The all Inclusive is an absolute joke, have to queue in a bar away from the main bar/pool area for the drinks and only given ONE at a time in a plastic glass and the food in the restaurant is really basic, dont even try any of the soups!! The all inclusive bar closes at lunch time and tea time while the restaurant is open which means that drinks have to be purchased at the pool bar. We ended up going out every night for dinner. When we 1st arrived we were given a dirty room that someone had just left, then given the key to another room which someone else was staying in before we were eventually given a free room. If you want a really basic hotel that has some lovely pubs and restaurants around it then this is the place to stay but please dont pay for the all inclusive as im afraid you will be very disappointed.

Stunning holiday, resort fantastic with plenty of facilities. It was clean and ot too much noise from other guests made it a superb stay. Plenty of places to eat with a wide variety of different foods and nightlife was very good with literally hundreds of places to go whatever your taste. Weather is pretty much guaranteed to be exellent and you cannot go wrong with Tenefire/Playa de las americas. Overall i would go again.

Booked on all inclusive basis however of the five bars on the complex all inclusive guests could only use one and were allowed only one drink per person, therefore if my wife and I wanted a drink we both had to walk to the one bar which was of all the bars the one which was most inconveniently situated and served with plastic glasses.
The snacks between the main meals were nonexistent and the tea and coffee were served by the barman from a machine also in plastic cups. All inclusive guests are made to feel [3rd class citizens] unappreciated. On a general note there was no hot water between 6pm and 830pm.the staff were rude and miserable.
Would not go back and could not recommend.
