We stayed at the Oasis 25/6 - 8/7 2005. It was our 1st time to Skiathos and we would definitely go back - We love visiting Greece & i think we are going to struggle to find another Greek Island that we will enjoy as much. The island is lovely with plenty of beautiful beaches and very easy access to them with the bus that leaves the town centre around every 30 minutes. The town itself has plenty to see - very cosmopolitain. Oasis Appts are 10 mins walk away from the town where there are plenty of tavernas and bars. Our favourite places to eat were on the harbour front where the sea gently laps under the wooden planks that you are dining on - very romantic as the sun sets. The locals were very friendly and Mike (the owner of the Oasis) very friendly. Our apartment was lovely - very big a 2 bedroom one - well worth paying the extra money for. If you like a thrill go down to the working end of the harbour on Friday mornings and sit on a rock very close to the end of the runway - it is absolutely awsome when the planes come in to land - about 50 feet above your head - what a rush!! The weather was beautiful too - I cannot recommend Skiathos enough. M&J Nottingham

My husband and I stayed at the Oasis for the second time in June 2004, the first time we stayed there in 2003 was fantastic, and I must admit in going back the following year I worried that the holiday might not live up to our first stay. I needn't have worried, it was even better! We met guests who had been there the previous year, what a testement to Mike and Heleni's care of their guests that so many people return year after year, and had another fantastic holiday. We're looking forward to June 25th when we'll be back again and i'm sure we'll slip back into the "Oasis family" and once again have a superb stay. Mike, get apartment C5 ready for us, we can't wait to see how much George and Marie-Helena have grown.

Actually, I'm not really writing about the Oasis, but their sister complex next door, the Manolas Appartments. They are owned by the same family. Where-as the Oasis has a pool and snack bar, the Manolas has one of the most beautiful garden/terrace we have ever seen. And, of course, we were welocome to use the Oasis facilities when-ever we wanted to. Mike (Oasis) is a great guy, so very helpful, makes you feel so welcome. His sister who runs the Manolas unfortuately speaks not one word of english, BUT if you have a problem / question, she runs full pelt to her brother who translates for her. It's a wonderful island and I thoroughly reccomend it to any-one. Tim, Pete, Tom and Pete.

We have just got back from the Oasis Apartments after having an excellent time. The accommodation is great and Mike and his staff do everything to ensure your holiday goes smoothly. The apartments are in an excellent location and are well presented. Mike is brilliant, as are the breakfasts!! If we ever go back to Skiathos, we will return to the Oasis.

This holiday was great got back on Friday. The hotel is really nice and so are the staff. I would really recomend this holiday to couples. The drinks in the town are a bit pricey but you get alot of alchohol in them. We will be visting Skiathos again (very hot too!)

Stayed at the Oasis in June 2003, had a brill time. Mike is a fan of Stelios Gianakopolis who plays for our team Bolton Wanderers. Going back to see him and his family with some friends in September, really looking forward to it. Studios are in a good position and Skaithos is a great place to visit!

I spent a week at the Oasis in June 2003 with my husband, to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. We always have a week to ourselves, but never return anywhere for a second time as there are so many beautiful Greek Islands/Resort to visit. We are celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary next week and are celebrating it by returning to the Oasis. I have never stayed anywhere, where the owner (Mike) has met us with bottles of iced water after our flight. Once he knew it was our anniversary, he sent us complimentary drinks and ice creams. We were served water melon when the temperatures sored and were able to keep our rooms on (at no extra charge) until our coach arrived to take us to the airport. We have stayed in accommodation costing us at least 3 times more, but never have we had such lovely, genuine friendly service. We are counting down the days to the 25th June.

Definitely the best place to stay in Skiathos. Mike (Mikalis - not sure if i am spelling it correctly tho :( ) and his staff treat you like you are the only people who have ever stayed there. He even drew us a map of the best places to visit on the island and all of his recommendations are excellent. We also had the best view in the place - top right when looking from the pool bar. It's true about the breakfasts... the plate is so full you won't go hungry.

A brilliant place to stay with a warm welcome, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. within easy walking distance of skiathos town,but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle if you want to. The food here is great,and really good value for money.Try a full english for around 7 euros but be prepared to share it with someone else,you get lots of everything and it will keep you going right through the day.

Stayed in the Oasis studios in skiathos town in June 2003. The owner Mike and his family cannot do enough for you. I f you are sitting by the pool, he just comes round and offers to take you in his jeep or boat - we had some wonderful days out with him. The accommodation is basic Greek, very clean and very friendly - we couldn't have chosen better and can't wait to return. This accommodation is only available through Kosmar
