Oasis Apartments

The Oasis apartments were brilliant, we stayed for 2 weeks and we didn’t want to go back. Mike and his wife provided a great trip and we would definately think about going back.
During the 2 weeks Mike took us to the beach and we went out on a very fast rib boat and had loads of fun.
If there was one flaw to this holiday it was the pool, it was not that big so there wasn’t much room.

Just got back from the most relaxing holiday EVER! Met great mates and had a brilliant time at the Oasis.
Our accommodation was fantastic, huge villa for the four of us, plenty of room to move and lots of storage space. The fridge freezer was appreciated as was the kettle and toaster!!
We never moved from the pool by day, except when Mike dragged us up from our sunbeds to take us to the beach or on his speed boat! He and his family are lovely as are the very helpful staff. The lads carry your bags from the front door to your room and back again at the end of the holiday. The girls behind the bar cannot do enough for you.
When you order food you get a platter of fresh fruit to munch on, the portion sizes are huge (better to share), then just when you think you have had enough, out comes the complimentary dessert (they get offended if you refuse). Delicious!
To cool you down during the day you are offered Water Melon as you lie in the lovely sunshine!
The complex is like your very own little community. The kids are really safe with all gates locked and security cameras (very re-assuring in the current climate!). The hammocks are a god send in the shade, very amusing when the adults come home drunk to!
Overall a very family friendly place with that extra special touch from Mike and all his family and staff.
Would consider going back but have found that now XL have bought out Kosmar the prices are up 60% next year?! Think they may do more harm than good in that respect?

Just a short transfer journey from airport and our greeting was very good.
The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. I did not think the owner was as friendly as other people portrayed him, as we hardly ever saw him especially in the evenings.
Skiathos is a lovely island but I found it to be too commercialised and quite expensive compared to other Greek islands. We were recommended the Madusa restaurant but we had to wait 2 hours for our meal.
I thought the swimming pool was quite small but adequate however, I did feel it was far too close to the restaurant and bar area.
They did offer a live singing act on the Sunday evening and that was very good, both of the singers were excellent.
The walk down to the beach was fine. We did have a lovely holiday but I would not return to either the island or the apartments.

My daughter and son in law had their wedding in Skiathos Town in June 2006.
Along with them stayed family and friends, 20 in total stayed at the oasis apartments.
Mike his lovely wife and children, made our stay there wonderful. They even took the time to come to the wedding.
During the holiday they took my grandson and other members of our party out on their speed boat.
The apartments are basic but very clean, we choose to go back to the family bar at night as did lots of other guest. We met lots of guest who had returned year after year to the oasis.
We will be going back again if we can book early enough! As it tends to get booked up fairly quickly.

(Intro) Oasis Studios is a very pleasant and efficient place to visit, this is our fifth year and it has only rained once, the meals are up to standard and the apartments are beautiful, and around the pool its self has a bar, hammocks, Mike was so helpful and pleasant he took us all over, his wife is also really kind as well.
(Pool area) The pool is really enjoyable, the staff are very friendly, Mike is just out of this world, we hope you enjoy your stay if you ever go.

Nice clean apartments with balcony overlooking gardens. the transfer is very quick as you are 5 mins from airport but do not let this put you off as there are not that many flights and they are only during the day. The staff in general are very helpful especially the owner Mike who will give you plenty of tips and directions if you are hiring a car.
The walk into town takes between 10 and 20 mins depending on which way you go or taxis are cheap and plentiful. In general we had a nice and relaxing holiday in these apartments and would not hesitate to go back.
