Had a fantastic time at the Vista Dorada - the bungalows were very clean and tidy with a maid service most days - we were on the end and had a very big garden with secure gate. We booked self catering but upgraded to full board as the food was excellent. The waiters and receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The Airtours staffs especially the two Laura’s were brilliant and entertained the kids all day and night. You can get anywhere beach, Aqua Sur, Camels, shopping etc for about 3.50 euros. Aqua Sur was a really good day out - we have 3 kids and they had a great time there. Palmitos Park and Sioux City were also good. The best beach is in Maspalomas, near the lighthouse, but it was very hot and got up to 52 degrees. All in all the kids had an excellent time - the accommodation was excellent and we will definitely be going back again.

Excellent accommodation with clean rooms. Secure apartments. Safety box etc. Good sized pool ( watch out for slipperiness on outer Blue ring when wet!!. Receptionists ( 2 ) were great and very helpful with Bureau etc and directions to theme areas. Go everywhere in a Taxi as you can get anywhere for less than 4 euros. Don’t use buses. Not much to do immediately around resort but selection of Commercial centre’s nearby ( by Taxi ). Yumbo is the best in our opinion. Try Canarian Steak Its great. Be aware of lucky lucky men who are in abundance and be prepared to be accosted by shopkeepers selling electronic goods. Overall a very good holiday, which was good, value for money. Aqua Sur was a great day out for those who like adrenalin rush and getting wet. Give it a try.

Outside the resort there are a lot of different things you can do, such as aqua, which is really fun, there is something for everyone to do, even for little children under three. There is other activities, such as go karting, learning to surf, going to the beach, shopping, going in a sub, water sport, etc. Also there is a cow boy show, which is excellent it is enjoyable for kids an adults and there is free drinks and food.
The price to travel in a taxi is very cheaper, you can go anywhere and pay not more than 5 Euro, the taxi drivers are friendly and easy to communicate with.
