All inclusive isnt all inclusive they call it all inclusive lite, which means you can only have drinks with your meals. They try it on with everyone so they can make an extra few quid. Anyway I wouldnt bother with the food and drink as it is shocking, prison slop, the... more

I would not even recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. It was absolutely awful. 1. Staff got the spare key from reception and went into someone's room when they were asleep, and beat him up. Simply because he had gotten drunk and jumped in the pool naked, which had... more

all inclusive ....... what a joke
after going to turkey for many years i must say this was the worst holiday we have had . the hotel staff (with exception to 1or 2) were very rude they would argue with you rather than help or listen. the food was appalling not offering no choice only 3 hot dishes which were rice chips and if you were lucky a meat dish of some description. one lunch time it was just rice chips and beans yuk.. the pool area was very small and not enough sun beds to go round . you would have to get up at 6am to get one . although sign around pool say closes at 7 the staff would oust you out of the pool and poolarea at 5 onwards just so they could get the tables out ready for the evening entertainment which was also a joke . it was a hit or miss whether there was any and if there was it only lasted 20 mins max. there were no snacks avalible and the drinks were very weak and soft drinks flat . the allinclusive drinks finished at 10.30pm but you were only allowed 1 drink per person after 10. 10pm even if you were getting drinks for others . this hotel worked on a very low budget and it showed they were not impressed with how much water was drunk by there customers . one to avoid
UNSATISFACTORY STAY!!!!!
Where shall I begin????When we arrived at our hotel we had to share two single beds as they had no beds available and we were three people. The air conditioning was leaking for three days and no technician arrived to fix it for us therefore we had no sleep due to the heat.Upon arriving the meal we had for the first two days was salad and chips as they had disgusting food and no kiddie meals.....they should really amend their menu in recognition to customer needs as there were people of different cultures staying at the hotel..... As for the staff the people who served us our meals were the best ones as they were always on hand to give us support and were very friendly....as for managment I feel they need extra amount of training in people skills as they never smile..they also lacking in communciation skills as they do not understand English some of the time.....This hotel is not child friendly...and the swimming pool is very deep and not suitable for small children. We did not enjoy the service we recieved as we felt that our muslim needs were ignored and others were given more priority as we had two young children travelling with us. This was our first and last stay at Club Dorado in Marmaris and would recommend other customers to be fully aware before booking their stay....... Very Unhappy Customers!!!!!
Avoid !
Where do i start - food disgusting, staff unfriendly, pool dirty, toilets filthy and entertainment pathetic ! I could talk for hours how horrible this hotel was. All inclusive was a joke too. My daughter was told she had had too many soft drinks and she wasnt allowed anymore ! It was one drink per person and they stopped serving drink at 10.30pm. All inclusive guests were treated like dirt. You got more respect if you just popped in off the street for a drink. Pool closed at 7.00pm which is fine, although the staff felt the need to ask people to get out of the pool at 5.30pm and leave their sunbeds or seats so as they could get ready to set tables for the night time entertainment. You need to be up at 6 in the morning to get a sunbed too ! I would never ever go back to this Hotel. Horrible place.
great hoilday, shame about the food rations
just got back from club dorado, the room are very clean and nice, the drinks nice but a little too weak for myself . staff friendly and welcoming, the turkish guys more for the young pretty ones thou ! my only complaint is with the food rations. the cooks give it to you in very small portions, plus we only had a choice of one meat dish and pasta and chips, good job we all love the salad bar ! other wise than that we had a every enjoyable week in the club dorado.
great!
when i arrived at the hotel i knew it was going to be a great start to my hoilday all staff smily and very welcoming. room was always clean, freash towels everyday and hot water couldnt fault it. baby pool is a good size plenty of room for you to sit and watch your little ones, big pool also good size, large choice of sunbeds around. there was a lovely selection of foods and salads, i cant think of any disapointment. fantasic cant wait for next year.
Good for the money . . .
It is important to know that I only paid £380 for a fortnight all inclusive here. It is on this basis I write the review. Some people had paid £700 for the same all inclusive and their review would be significantly different. The hotel is lovely and clean which is one of the main things that I was looking for in the holiday - the rooms were nice and big too and the people genuinely couldn't do enough for you. They were still friendly after working 18 hour days / 7 days a week and were especially good with my 1 year old son. It wasn't fantastic for very young children though, the cot they provided was way too small (suitable for a 1-4 month old) and there was nowhere for him to run about - it was so easy for him to fall into the pool. (he started walking 2 weeks ago and hated having to be kept in his push chair) The location was really good. we walked with the pushchair to the beach etc and for meals which wa a 10 minute walk, or taxis cost about 7 lire (~£3) It was out of the way of the main nightlife although the music in the outside bar was often so loud it distorted (this stopped at Midnight every night) Food wasn't great for the meat-lovers - it was ok if you like school dinners as this is fundamentally what they were serving. It was 'one piece of meat per serving' too. I couldn't help feel like I was begging for food which was my only real negative view of the hotel. food was cheap enough out and for the money I paid you really couldn't grumble too much. The salad bar was amazing, sadly I am a salad-dodger and didn't take advantage of this. There was no mini-fridge or mini-bar, both of which were promised in the brochure but they have removed this from the website now. Free interenet was a winner too - I didn't want to miss any of the football results! On the hole it was a basic hotel, with basic food that was lovely and clean with lovely people working there. I wouldn't pay much more than I did and it is not a surprise that people who paid double what I paid slag the hotel off - it certainly isn't the Ritz! If you get a bargain on it I'd definitely recommend it.
hmm
hotel was very clean. rooms got no complaints. food wasnt good no choice well yes there were 2 choices rice or chips had to eat out most days. all inclusive ended at 10pm. entertainment wasnt very good but then it was only on for 10 minutes lol . and the pool beds you have to be down at 6am for one . we saw towels over the beds all day and no one was laying on them it was quite funny watching people fighting over them
DO NOT GO HERE
we booked this hotel after reading the reviews on this so called hotel, this is the worst one i have ever stayed at . the food is terrible spent a fortune eating out . the staff appear to think it's funny to throw food at you and when you challenge the so called manager he wants to pick a fight with you. "THATS HOW GOOD THIS PLACE IS" . the only way to discribe this place is a woest place one has stayed in . would not advise any body to stay at this hotel..
geordie boys review
wonderfull time helpfull friendly staff always willing two help great pool only ten mins walk to main area plenty of shows rooms good food average
A wonderfully sunny trip.
We have just returned from Marmaris having enjoyed 2 of the best weeks of weather we have ever had. The hotel is a bit basic but I could not complain as we went last minute and got the best deal we could. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. There were complaints about the food but it was the normal complaints from Brits who think every country should cater just for us. We had no problem with the food it was repetitive but I think all inclusive at a small hotel makes it difficult to please everybody. We went on 2 trips the first to the resort of Dalyan and another a lazy day cruise around the bays near Marmaris. These were very well priced compared to other trips we have taken elsewhere in the world. On the negative side everywhere we went the music was blow your head off loud aimed at the younger holiday makers, this did get on our nerves. When we booked this we was told Marmaris was Blackpool in disguise. This is right if thats what you go looking for, we found it to be a place with fantastic scenery, friendly people and excellent Turkish food. We will go back to Turkey.
Great stay!
We arrived in the middle of the night at the hotel, me and my sister were very tired after a long flight and bus-traveling, but we got checked inn. Actually we got a room with three beds instead of two beds as we were supposed to have, but the reception were very nice and gave us the three bedded room with a sight all over Marmaris and the pool. The next day we woke up at 9 am, just in time for breakfast. The breakfast was not the best, but eatable. Down the swimming pool area we met our guide and we signed up for some entertainment and some small trips (for example, Dalyan). Now i mention Dalyan I remember how nice the owner of the boat we were traveling with was. He let us drive the boat and it was so funny.. Now back to the hotel. We ate three times at the bar Sarah, it was just across the street and the food was brilliant. They were also very nice, I remember they was very pleased with my sister she got a bread with her name on it etc. At the end of the second day we came back from the city. The money we gave the cleaning ladies was gone and on the bed the towels looked like hearts, very sweet of them.. We noticed this change! The first day we didn't put money out for them and they did not do it as good as the second day. (I recommend you give them money, because that is their only wages and even there they have to give the most of it to the receptionists). One of the evenings we ate at the hotel, it was okay, but don't go for the dessert it was lousy.. The staff was sweet and loved to learn some more danish from us (We are from Denmark). The pool was great, just a pity that it's closing so early. The hotel's rules with no water in the pool area from outside was bad, because we bought like four bottles a day in a mini supermarket across the street. One time the bartender told us to put it away next time we were hanging around the pool. This was about the hotel and all in all not bad! Actually we liked it indeed.
Pretty much okay
Went there with my girlfriend. Had a terrible busride from Dalaman airport - we had to wait one hour in the bus before departure - and after that - almost three hours busride. Anyway - we only ate at the hotel once. The food was cold and far from good. Breakfast VERY basic - supposed to be between 8 and 10. Was not ready before 8.25. One day the maids forgot to give us new towels and the toilet was "running" all the time. I guess thats what you'll have to cope with when in Turkey. Cleaning - a little bit below average. The money paid - I guess its allright. The day after we came home - three boms were detonated in Marmaris. Not going to Turkey again - been there four times....
