1st time we have ever stayed in studio apts,must say they were excellent, kettle,toaster,tv,air con all provided ( 15 euro deposit for air con but you got it back ) literally round the corner you can find Magaluf. In the opposite direction you are spoilt for choice of where... more

Excellent value for money from followfollow
Just returned from a short break at the lunamar apartments. We booked this with Alpharooms for £17 per room per night. On arrival we requested a pool view however were told that this was notpossible because the apartments had only opened that week and were still in the process of refurbishment. Luckily at this time the manager was passing and very kindly agreed to open another floor and give us a nice room with a pool view. Rooms were basic but clean and served the purpose. Only negative comments would centre around the cooking facilities as you are only supplied with 2 cooker rings, kettle and toaster. All rooms are studios and of the same standard. At this time of year if you want a sunny balcony you are probably better asking for a room overlooking the viva palmanova apartments, these rooms overlook a road. Supermarket nearby, which is of good standard and is pretty reasonably. Overall, would return if got a good price again. Cost for taxi from airport to door is approx. 30 Euro.

We have just got back from holiday and was disapointed to find out when we got there we had to hire a kettle and toaster in a self catering apartment. the pool was very deep too deep for children (2.50mtrs) although it was cleaned every day. resturant does not open till 10.00 in the morning for food. Most of the staff was very friendly apart from the odd ones, the apartments was situated close to the beach although we was disapointed on the cleanliness of the beach. night life was okay in nearby Magaluf if you are a disco diva but for people with small children it did not exsist. If you do go then hire a quad from Med-Ped its great fun and the people that own them are very friendly. Our overall view of the holiday was appartments okay but the resort will not make us go back. If you do go watch out for Cruella in reception and Mr Grumpy in the bar

My boyfriend and I (25) stayed at the Lunamar for one week from the 30th July. We had an absoulutely brilliant time. The apartments are pretty basic but very clean. There was a nice bar area with very friendly staff and a large pool area which never got too busy. The pool was quite deep but did have a seperate kids area. There was no evening entertainment at the apartments but it didn't really matter because 5mins up one street was magulluf if you wanted a hectic night or 5 mins the other was the heart of palma nova which has beautiful bars & restaurants. Threre is also the choice of three fab beaches with really white sand. I'd definately recommend the Lunamar beacause of its location it gives you lots of choices for your holiday.

we went there in april 2003.2 adults 3 children.basic accomodation.Apart from 1 noisy night i.e drunken idiots above us,who were ejected next morning.it was fine for the next 13 nights.nice pool although not heated.handy for lovely beach and magaluf only half a mile away.its not the hotel california but we all enjoyed it.might go again in sept.bfn jimmy and family cardiff south wales.

We have just returned from the Lunamar, having had one of the best holidays in a long time. After reading some of the reports on these apartments we were dreading going especially as we paid so little for the holiday (£600 for 2 adults 1 child) for 2 weeks. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived and could not fault these apartments in any way. The location is excellent 2 mins from beach, 5 mins walk either way to both Palma Nova and Magaluf. The staff could not have been any friendlier, a good selection of snacks and meals available from the lounge/bar at reasonable prices. The apartments were basic and in need of renovation but very clean, the maids are in every second day to change beds/towels etc. Pool area lovely and clean with seperate area for small children which is good as the main pool is rather deep. One slight dissapointment was the lack of entertainment a parrot show on a Friday night, but as we like to go out around the resort in the evening this did not bother us to much although it would have been nice to have entertainment more than once per week. I would recommend these apartments to couples or families as they are popular with both and nice and quiet with the option of livlier nightlife 5 mins walk away in Magaluf.

stayed with husband and granddaughters found it very very good clean and the staff were helpfull going back in june this year with friends, nightlife and beaches very close the best of both worlds we could enjoy all that was going on but go back to the quietness of our room

July 2004 When we arrived outside the lunamar we firstly thought ok but not the best. When we entered the was a small reception area with very friendly reception people(most of the time). We were given our keys and wen we got to our rooms they were very tidy. the kitchen area was the same room as the beds but that wasnt a problem and the bathroom had shower,sink and a bath which were all very clean. We also had a great view of the pool but some of our friends did not have the best of views. We hoped all our rooms would be next to each other but only two were and the other two were either ends of the corridor. Another problem was that you werent allowed amyone back to the hotel. we had a group of friends that were on holiday at the same time and we arranged for them to come round for a few drinks before we went out but that wasnt allowed. The bar staff were very friendly and were good to have a laugh with. The hotel is a minutes walk from the beach and only 5 minutes from the main strip of bars and clubs that makes magaluf famous. For a first holiday this was a fantastic place to stay. Thats why im returning this year in july.

Went to the lunamar apartments with my wife 25/09/04 for 1 week. Our apartment was classed as studio but had 2 single beds instaed of the usual pull out rubbish. Although this was contained in one room, there is plenty of space. Maid service first class and the bar staff and apartment reception could not have been friendlier. Situated between palma nova and magaluf, you have the best of both worlds. Eating out is surprisingly cheap, we could get a full breakfast for 2.5 euros. Liked it that much, we are going back May 2005.

The appartments were clean and tidy with all the basics you need when on holiday! Pool area was nice and enjoyed a number of days sitting by the pool. Very closely located to beach, shops and bars! Beaches in Palma Nova lovely and night life fantastic! Would definetely return to both the Lunamar appartments and Majorca!

i have just returned from majorca,stayed in the lunamar apartments,which are studios not apartments.got it cheap on mytravel auction 98quid for 2 plus taxes charges booking fee etc worked out about 136pound,included flights.fine inside the place but them rooms are a dump and the ppol area is a dump too,i wouldnt pay for you to stay there.i no you thinking not bad price for 2 ppl but i wouldnt stay there again for all the money in china,whatch out for mytravel/airtours allocated on arrival cheapies to majorca cause thats where you going to stay,
