Ramada Bintang Bali Resort Hotel

I stayed at the Ramada Bintang Bali Resort for 6 days in October 2006. While only there for a short period, I was hugely impressed by the standard of the hotel. Firstly, the staff were absolutely amazing, especially a young lady at the Reception desk. Not only did she remember the names of my friend and I, book our tours, but she was just so friendly. We stayed 2 weeks in June this year & found the hotel to be quite nice. Other than the fairly neutral front desk staff, we found the wonderful staff to be the highlight of the hotel. The room staff, pool staff and restaurant staff were a delight. The rooms are a little tired, they would once have been very nice but are in need of renovation. We stayed at the Ramada Bintang for 4D3N free and easy tour. As it was our first visit to Bali, our knowledge of the island paradise was quite limited. The Guest Relations Officers were a great help! They offered advice from guided tours to spas. Very quickly we found ourselves on a guided tour of some of the best Bali has to offer. The breakfast provided by the hotel was simply delicious, with a great offering that included some local treats. The Ramada is a large friendly resort located on the beach with direct beach access.We have stayed there for many years and find it meets all our needs.Though a large resort there is enough room for privacy if that is what you require.The friendly staff are a definite attraction and they ensure you do as little or as much as you want.The pool is large and can at times be crowded.There are a number of quality eateries in the complex catering for all tastes.Tuban is a quiet area and only a short walk along the beach to busy Kuta.

We have stayed at this hotel twice and enjoyed our visit both times. We have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. On our last visit when returning home I discovered I had left my keys in the room safe and after a phone call to the hotel, they were returned to me within a couple of days. This was our 4th holiday to Bali and the Ramada Bintang was the worst hotel by far. We took our 12 month old who was still crawling. Our room was one of the closest to the pool and therefore probably the most requested and used. The floors were filthy (her knees and hands were always black) and no matter how many times we asked (v nicely I might add) we could not get it washed. We have just returned from staying at the Ramada Bintang Hotel in Tuban. We thoroughly recommend this hotel to families. Our children are 11 and 9 years of age and we all felt welcome. There are a mixture of couples and families staying at this resort. It is a very large ( approx 400 rooms) resort. Our Rooms were near the front of the hotel which meant we had a 5 minuite walk to the pool which was not too big a hassel. We just got a bit more organised. I must start by saying I wouldn’t go back to this hotel, but the main problem was the lack of information, or better yet, wrong one, from our travel agent back home. Tuban is Kuta anyway you see it, there is the traffic, the commotion, the life, the polluted air… but a considerable walking distance to poppies Lane 1, Legion Street… well, the places to go and eat cheap, shop, and see all the commotion. Stayed there in 2002 and had a good time. It is only 5 minutes from the airport, you can get a free transfer if you ask in advance. But it is not an airoirt hotel, i mean you lie on the beach and can see the planes come down but it does not disturb. My room was nice, no complaints. Tip the maids and they bring you fruits and flowers. Food is good, reasonable prizes in pool bar and restaurants, some live entertainment in the bars, enjoyed it. Staff is really nice.
