Planned to marry in bali and after visiting Blue point Surfing on many occassions before I knew this was the place for us to wed. We booked & paid for two story villa (in wedding package), after requesting that we be upgraded to Honeymoon clifftop villa we where advised "No Problem" & at no extra charge. We stayed at Bluepoint Bay Villa for 3 nights and chose the normal hotel room which are hosed in the building set back from the ocean front. The views, location is just stunning but I can't help but think why don't they make the whole hotel infrastructure look so so much better and thus elevate the status of the hotel to capitalise on its location. Blue Point Villa was the venue for our wedding, we've also stayed there for 4 days. It was really a great experience. Upon check-in, we were given welcome drinks and cool towels. They have even upgraded our room from the deluxe hotel room to a 2-storey villa. The room is really cool...with fresh flowers and fruit basket. This Hotel has the most spectacular views, west over the cliff and out to sea. The infinity pool compliments the view. The grounds are lovely. We were there for a wedding in the Chappel overlooking this magnificient view. A dream day for the bride and groom. We stayed at Blue Point Villas for 5 nights on our honeymoon. I would have to rate our overall experience as average at Blue Point. The location is ideal for surfing as you have a world class surf break out in front of the hotel. I've travelled all over the world and have stayed at the best and worst of hotels and always try to pick out the good. Yet another fantastic trip to Blue Point. The resort is fantastic, and you just can't beat the view over the horizon pool, and the wonderful staff. Great to see that there have been some expansions and there is a brand new coffee shop/cafe having its grand opening later this month. The spa is being refurbished (no noise from this what so ever), but they have moved the day spa into one of the amazing ocean front villas (spectacular view), and the honey and cucumber facial is great.
