Le Meridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Hotel

WOW - we were mesmerized from the moment we drove up to the resort, to the time we left. I can't even imagine a place in Bali that is better than the Nirwana (especially for golfers like us) . We stayed in a Villa which was completely luxurious with a outdoor shower, dipping pool and veranda complete with bar, 2 sets of lounge chairs, table and outdoor bed for lounging and naps. location: very far away from everything, only Tanah Lot Temple is next to the resort. if you want to walk to the temple through the golf course path, you might be hit by the golf ball. room: very clean, but not the sofa cusion, got stain on it. furniture is very old, but the bed and pillow is super comfort! restaurant: TERRIBLE! the chinese buffet dinner tastes terrible with very limited choice! the steamed 'jiao zi' and 'shao mai' just look like overnight leftover! very terrible experience. with the money i paid, i can enjoy a... more

If you are travelling to Bali, this is the best place to stay if you want to stay away from the hustle of city, want to see the best view of Indian Ocean and Tanah Lot. The staff is very helpful and the services one of the best. Kudos to Le Meridien Bali team. I will upload the pics in some time.

Very peaceful place with a beautiful view of the Tanah Lot temple & the sea. Nice & very clean rooms, very big pool area, very well kept garden area with wonderful Flora. The restaurants & bars in the hotel are all execellent, and the staff extremly friendly. You really feel welcome there. Exspecially NARI from the Front desk made our stay very special, we can really recommend this resort, even if you don't play golf!!

I have just returned from a four-day stay at Nirwana as the finale to a two week trip around Bali. It was bliss. The resort overlooks the sea and the Tanah Lot temple about 45 minutes north of Kuta. It has four (award winning) restaurants, spa and fitness centre, a stunning golf course, numerous pools and water slides. The staff are most attentive. My husband and I traveled to Bali on our honeymoon. We booked a fantastic deal through globo tours with a stopover in Singapore for two days. Our starwood account was jam packed and we had looked into Australia and Thailand but were able to leverage the most for our points by staying at this category 2 Le Meridien for 5 nights at no charge. Le Meridien Nirwana is hands-down one of the nicest, most beautiful hotels I've stayed at. Surrounded by rice paddy fields, ocean breezes, and a view of famous Tanah Lot temple, one feels as though he's entered a tropical paradise. Our room was clean and pretty, but the grounds were what impressed me most. The luscious greenery, multiple pools, and gorgeous interiors helped lend to the relaxing ambiance of this spa resort. My husband and I have been to this property 5 times over the last 10 years and it gets better every time. We got married at Le Meridien Bali in September 2009 and the location was just amazing, as was the venue - on the golf course facing the ocean there was a small group of 40 people. My wife and I stayed at the Le Meridien for 1 week of our honeymoon. We booked the rooms through the RCI Timeshare, and paid only $200 for the 7 days. We arrived to a welcome drink, and then they led us to the timeshare section of the resort (right by the golf clubhouse - about a 10-15 min walk to the lobby, or 2 second car ride). The room was very nice, with a partial kitchen, balcony over looking the forest and golf course.
