I could not say enough about the Holiday Inn, I stayed in the main wing & the busakorn Wing. The staff were more than helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
The surroundings are magnificent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I sprained my ankle whilst there, the staff were very quick to act, within 3 minutes I had one rubbing in cream to my ankle and a nurse appeared within 5 minutes. The management sent me a card & fruit bowl the next day, and staff were always offering to help.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else, except maybe the Merlin if I couldn't get in at the Holiday Inn. By the way food and drink are cheaper than other hotels in area.

We love this hotel. We have been here 5 times within 3 years with our children who are 8 & 6. They love the kids club so do we. The hotel is fantastic the rooms are great food even better we go for breakfast every morning and we eat that much we dont need anything until later. The people who work around the pool are great we stopped in the Busakorn section but if you take children I would say stay in the main wing. The location is great you even have someone to help you cross the road to get to the beach. The children love this place and we are going again later this year this time with there friends. The spa in the Busakorn section is amazing you have to try it. The hotel is always clean you have your towels changed everyday. I must say though dont use there laundry service if you go out the main wing there is a hairdressers that wash your things for 10p per item and they come back like new. You will love it but dont forget to smile as that is what the Thai's do to say hello. The best time to go is Nov/Dec as the weather is better. October is the Monsoon season.
