This hotel is fabulous and the staff are wonderful too, felt I had to write after reading bad reviews just before my boyfriend and I were due to fly out.
On arrival we were shown to our room which was a standard supreme which is their most basic room, now I’ve stayed in four/five star hotels before and they were not a patch on this.
From the bed was massive and part of the service was a pillow menu, fantastic for us as I like soft squidgy pillows and he likes solid ones, so rang down to housekeeping for new pillows and they appeared within five minutes, massive lcd TV for the rainy days, only complaint was they catered more for Thai’s and Japanese but we still had five or six English speaking channels.
View was amazing will try and add photos but suffice to say we had a lovely balcony overlooking lush green lawns beautiful orchids and the sea to look at.
Fresh orchids in the room everyday as well as fresh linen and bathroom accessories not forgetting the daily chocolate either...only downside was the restaurant very mediocre with little choice and expensive considering you could get the same or better down the road for a fifth of the price but was ok for the nights we had to stay in due to tsunami warning and monsoon...apart from that I cannot fault this hotel and would gladly go back tomorrow.
We got this as a special deal though Kuoni with only six weeks till departure so it’s worth leaving it late as we got £200 off the flight price and seven nights free accommodation.
Flight was with Thai airways scheduled flight and after that flight will never be able to fly charted flight again.

After staying at the Kata Thani further down Phuket this hotel seemed very average.
No particular problems with anything. Pool needed some maintenance work (missing tiles and some dodgy looking electrics).
Would personally advise the Kaat Thani instead of this hotel.
