Coconut Village Hotel

Hotel was nice. Stuffed around on first night after 12hrs of traveling and moved to another Hotel as they said it was full but we had booked i year before. Other hotel was horrible so the move us back and squeezed 5 ppl into one room. Otherwise had a great time. I thought the breakfast was nice and we were there on New Years Eve and had a big feast and excellent entertainment which was included. Pool was clean and nice and the rooms were satisfactory for the price.

We stayed at the Coconut Village for one week in January as part of a three week stay in Thailand. The hotel was lovely, the rooms were very clean and modern and looked recently refurbished. The hotel is approximately 5 mins walk from the beach which tends to be very busy, but only a short taxi or long tailed boat ride to more remote beaches. Just out of the way of all the night life so not to be bothered by it but within easy walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants. Coconut Village Resort was recommended to us by our travel agent. I checked it out on the net before booking and it seemed okay. Since it's a 3 star accommodation I was expecting the Rirz but I thought I'd give it a go. I'll be concise with my review and these are pure facts, no exaggerations and ultimately you will have to make you opwn mind up about whether to saty here or not: Staff: They were rude, bar the main receptionist. Stayed here for one night booked through asiarooms.com and only cost around £35 for a deluxe room. The room was spacious with a big bed, big, clean bathroom and we even had a welcome drink which was a nice touch. The pool is a good size and the location is great as it is near the beach but not noisy! Our room was right at the front of the hotel so we couldn't use our balcony which was a shame (mmm looking at traffic!) but all in all this is a good hotel and great value for money!!

Have just returned from a ten day stay on our honeymoon.The room was very large(deluxe),very modern(8 months since refurbishment),clean and next to the pool.The bathroom was of an excellent standard and the room also had a small terrace.It is located in an ideal location,5 minutes walk to the beach,shops,bars & restaurants.All food and drinks in the restaurant,pool bar and mini bar are all extremely cheap.The staff were also very friendly and the only thing that lets the resort down is again the breakfast which is basic to say the least.

We decided to make the most of our stay in Phuket, and stayed in Kamala Beach(near Phuket Fantasea) Hotel and Resort before moving to the busier Patong Beach. Such a big difference. If Coconut Village was rated 3 star, I could only see fit that Kamala Beach Hotel and Resort be given a 4 star. when we arrived it was raining, but the staff were ready with umbrellas. check in was quick and they took our luggage to our rooms. rooms were very nice and a good size, as was balcony, we had a pool view. Pool area was a bit shady, as there were many trees. But it was very nice with a slide and basketball net, which my group played with the whole time. The hotel is in a good location - about 5-10 minutes walk from the bars & restaurants but far away enough to be peaceful on a night. The hotel is much nicer in real life than on the pictures from the hotel website. The rooms are clean and beatifully decorated. The food at the hotel served at lunch and the evening is lovely. The breakfast was the only thing really that let the hotel down. Not much choice, and the service at breakfast was appalling.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the best holiday, we are going back to the same hotel again next year. Really good value, smart and clean. You are near to all the shops, bars and the beach but not close enough for the noise to affect a lazy day by the pool. The hotel bar and restaurant are great value and the food is v.good. Would recommend a stay in this hotel

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, yet reasonably priced hotel, the Coconut Village Resort is the place. Our room was spacious. My 7 year old daughter loved the swimming pool which has a water slide. The hotel is a short walk from Patong Beach.
