Cosy Beach Hotel Reviews
Oct 2006, Mr ER Ackers
What a wonderful hotel! The Cosy Beach deserves far more than its three star rating. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff were excellent and the hotel surroundings wonderful. The large pool is fantastic and it saves your legs from the steep hike down the steps... more

Good value for money
from JanKeith
Good location. Small beach near hotel, good and cheap footmassage by the beach :-) Too many eastern european people in Thailand!
Great hotel, loved it, nice quiet location
from angshu_c
Nice hotel. Good value for money. Nice quiet location above a somewhat private beach. Lovely pool. Took a standard room. But I guess the deluxe and premium rooms are a better deal.
Loved It Fantastic

TO Start Of with we went with thg holidays of the internet and found they realy looked after us the hotel the transferes was excellent the cosey beach was great the staff were always helpfull me and my hsband went on our own and had a great time we are now going back next year with our children.i would recomend this hotel to anyone we hired a moped for 3 pound a day so we got to go all over pattaya but a taxi is only a 100 bart they will try to get more money but you can get them down iv you try a 100 bart is only £160 pence so it is not much at all. they was an english bar just up the rd called wishing well the food was great and the staff were fantastick they was al so another bar over the rd and they done us a leaving party it was brill i carnt wait to go back.
Nice and quiet

A quiet hotel if a little tired, out of the main area of Pattaya. Nearby supermarkets are great for essentials, but the restaurants and bars are pretty ghastly. For decent dining and main stream shopping get a cab into central Pattaya (150baht). Food in the hotel is good, but the portion sizes are huge and they tend to serve starters and main courses at the same time. Staff are very friendly as in most of the area.
a very good hotel at reasonable rates - good for family visits - no whores aroun
from DemandingTraveller
I stayed with my wife and two kids at this hotels for 2 nights and found this hotel very good, nice location and my suite had a very very good view of the pattaya bay...this hotel is located on hill away for the pattaya dirt ...you can move around with your young daughter and wife without any "lady" disturbing you ...food is great around this hotel , we ate twice at an open diner which has bbq chicken served from 5 pm , also there were a lot of hawkers selling roasted seafood, coconuts, etc...beach was just a few steps away and is shared with guests from other hotels and they are usually families ...we had a lot of Russian families there and they were nice... we also booked a trip to Coral island - a must do in Pattaya... In short if you are looking for a clean peaceful visit stay in this area otherwise stay at the beach road which I found substandard and overcrowdy and looked like a dirty new delhi lane to me not appealing at all.
family vacation
from joclaves
Beach is not so nice but a stay in the hotel with nice pool and view of the ocean made my vacation worthwhile. I stayed at Cosy Beach HOtel. The price is unbelievable, it's so cheap but the standard of hotel is so high, it's like 5-star hotel.
Had to Change Hotel - Give this one a miss until its upgraded

I may be too harsh - but i was on holiday. Lobby was nice enough- staff were not. Corridoor had no lighting. Entered the room- Carpets were worn to the cord, furniture was dented and broken, Lampshades were covered in plastic and plastic had been patched with tape. Bathroom dingy and towels had passed their usable life. This is a budget hotel and not a 3 star resort.
Wonderful Hotel

My wife and I have stayed at the Cosy Beach Hotel 3 times. The staff remember us from year to year and are so pleasant and helpful. The Hotel restaurant is great value for money with super food. Easy access to town on the trucks that are outside (50 Baht).Rescued people from the Royal Cliff Hotel next door (which is far to pretentious) and introduced them to the Cosy.Go to Sams bar on the beach below the hotel, wonderful! Book a room in the main building on the front with super views. This hotel is suitable for couples and familys. The other reviewer is correct the brochures do not do this hotel justice.
Wonderful Hotel

We have stayed at the Cosy twice and have booked for a third time. Each year our group of travellers grows larger there will be 30 of us on the next trip. We are a mixed group of adults and children and the Cosy is great for both, with easy access into Pattaya and a couple of good little cafes nearby serving English Food. Unfortunately most of the holiday brochures do not do the Cosy much justice. The hotel is spacious and very clean the staff are friendly and attentive and the restaurant serves a large range of food at a reasonable price. We can't wait to go back and introduce our friends to the lovely Cosy Beach.
Always a good standard
from Foxybryan
I have stayed at this hotel 5 times-a month each time in the last two years. It gives excellent value for money and the service is all that you would require. It is well situated and with the top rooms you have an excellent balcony with a sea-view with the island of Koh Larn in the distance. The meals are varied and excellent value. The two pools the pleasant gardens and the private beach will satisfy the majority of people. I will be going again soon. That is the proof I like it. BUT go between November to April for the continual hot weather and wonderful conditions that make you eat the cheap tropical fruit by the ton.!!

A good hotel, a good price, and good service. I would stay here again. Swimming pool very near to hotel. A lovely beach very near. On the down side is transport to the town. The baht buses (taxis) try very hard to rip you off. When going to town try to go as a group in the... more
