Amari Orchid Resort Hotel

Very good hotel, very good location (North Pattaya), good breakfast. Amari standards except for the tiny, kind of old room. The hotel has a part 4 star and a part 5 star. Had a cheap rate for the 4 star part, so this was ok. Better room in cheaper hotel can be found in Patttaya, but without the Amari environment... Very chic hotel, but beware of the compulsery dinner of Xmas and New Year 's Eve. Fantastic pool but over crowded. The garden are a bit too geometrical for my taste.

Stayed in the Tower portion of the Amari Orchid. They are not even treated as the same hotel - separate check-in desk. We know because our taxi driver dropped us off at the garden wing and we had to be transported to the tower in a golf cart. So, tripadvisor should really separate them. Our room was excellent. We liked the hotel and its location in the northern and less commercial part of Pattaya. The beech across the street is very convenient and offers a nice change from the hotel's swimming pools for those who like to swimm in the ocean or walk the beech. We were well received and well treated during the political crisis which kept us stranded for one extra week.

Beautiful hotel but the main pool was closed for service and prices too high in light of economic climate and lack of tourist while we were there during the airport closure. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the fitness room is spare and looks out to the construction of another high rise hotel next door. However the grounds are well kept and service crew is very good, the only hotel we stay at in Pattaya.

I stayed in the Amari Tower in Pattaya the first time. It's a pretty new hotel. the rooms are furnished in a contemporary style. One thing of importance to me is a really good bed, quick and reliable service and - if being on vacation at the sea - a sea view. I got this and much more at the Amari Tower. i had a junior suite (the room looks very similar to the deluxe room) but has a great sea view. I was more then pleased with my stay. a wonderful stay. hotel staff friendly and polite. standards excellent. food terrific service good. room garden wing deluxe was excellent. although we were on the 4th floor i think a lift would have been better..overall would stay here again very good value for money. well done.

I have stayed in many different properties in Thailand, but keep coming back to this one when in Pattaya. I am a silver card holder with Marriott, but forgo any benefits that might bring me to stay here. It is priced right, beautiful ocean view, and the staff always exceeds the friendly atmosphere that one expects in Thailand. Stay here, you will not regret it.

I recently stayed for three days, with my wife and two children, at the Amari Orchird in Pattaya. We were in the new building called "Tower". We had a true 5-star experience. The room was beautiful and tastefully decorated, with all necessary amenities. The service was excellent and friendly. We tried all the restaurants and enjoyed all of them, from Henry J. Hotel offers through various websites special offers for Gardenwing. This Gardenwing only about 3 Star not 5 Star as the Hotel grading. Rooms very old / very small / No balcony and only very small window. These rooms even with special rate can be found for 50 %the price in Pattaya. Very tricky to offer 5 Star Hotel with such substandard rooms. Hotel Service / Pool / Garden fine but not the Gardenview Wing. They offer 2 Different Categories under same 5 Star - what a shame to lure visitors.

Stayed in the Garden wing for 2 weeks in October and had an excellent time in Pattaya. Bad things, The Garden Wing rooms compared to other hotels in the class are tiny and the bathrooms a little outdated. Most have no balconies which leaves it feeling a little enclosed. I know it was slightly out of season, but the hotel was approx 90% unoccupied which left it a little soul less.
