" This is an absolutely stunning hotel!... "

This is an absolutely stunning hotel! The service and hospitality of the staff is second to none.

The hotel has 19 (Yes Nineteen!) restaurants all offering something different. We only had 5 nights at this hotel as we were going on to Koh Samui for my sister in laws wedding, but in those 5 nights, we had the most amazing time.

There is a massive outdoor pool with a bar with stools set in the water. There is also a hot Jacuzzi alongside an outdoor spa to relax and unwind. Inside, there is a gym (we didn't use this).

The hotel has a jetty where you can board the hotels own ferry to the Sky train which, in turn, will take you right into the heart of Bangkok.

If you want peace and tranquillity, Bangkok isn't the place you'd expect to find it. However, within the sumptuous luxury of this Marriott resort, you can escape from all the hustle and bustle that Bangkok offers yet within 10 minutes, you can be sightseeing around this amazing city.

" The Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa... "

The Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in, I went there last year with my partner for 4 nights. We had booked through Expedia and booked a standard double, when we arrived the room wasn't ready (it was only 11 am so I hadn't expected it to be) and we were immediately upgraded for free to a deluxe suite which had two balconies overlooking the river and a separate living area.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, very modern and lovely bathrooms, bathrobes and towels were provided. They do room service which is quite expensive but very good food. The breakfast which was included was excellent; there was a great choice of American, continental and oriental food, with great service. There are a few restaurants and also a cafe that does snacks during the day.

The pools are beautiful and there is a Jacuzzi outside, also you are allowed to go in the pools at night and they are all lit up, it is really pretty. One of the best things about this hotel is the location, it is away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, but there is a free shuttle boat across the river to the centre, it drops you close to a metro station and also the stop for the main river boat. The hotel grounds are beautiful, lots of trees and you feel like you're in a tropical island rather than close to the centre of Bangkok.

The hotel is quite expensive but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or to return.
