" This hotel is a modern hotel situated... "

This hotel is a modern hotel situated on the 'Buda' side by the banks of the Danube River. It's location is good for exploring the Castle District and it's very close to the Chain Bridge so it is easy to get across to the 'Pest' side.

Our room was a good size and was clean and modern. However on one occasion our rooms weren’t made and towels not replaced.

One drawback of the hotel were the bar prices - a Jack Daniels (double) and Coke was almost £15!! Needless to say we soon looked for cheaper places to drink!

The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is to take the airport minibus - I'd recommend booking a return to save money as the hotel charges more for exactly the same service.

" A decent enough hotel and I can’t... "

A decent enough hotel and I can’t complain for the price we got through Expedia either. My only grudge was that this hotel was billed to us as a four star hotel, and while the rooms matched this rating, I believe the service wasn’t quite up to scratch. Don’t get me wrong, we had a lovely stay (4 Nights) and nobody was rude to us, however upon requesting bath robes we had to call down more than once, again when ordering ice through room service, a number of calls had to be made. We also asked reception about kitchen/ordering information and they had no idea, simply telling us we should contact the kitchen directly ourselves. I must stress again, that nobody was rude, it’s just that I felt the service was more in keeping with a lower class of hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect, right by the river, perfect for exploring either side of the city. Again, the breakfasts were excellent too; no end of choice and substantial enough for you to have no need for lunch! All in all, I do recommend the hotel, and very much enjoyed the stay, I just warn that it isn't, in my opinion, up to the level of service it advertises itself as having.

Lovely hotel - modern, designed by an artist and showcasing his work. Our suite was enormous and was spotlessly cleaned every day (we had luxurious robes too!). Extremely central (Pest side of Danube). Great and hearty selection at breakfast. Expedia always the best for detailed information on hotel.
