From day one the hotel was disgusting considering it had a 3* rating. The toilet was filthy and the shower room had not been cleaned from the last occupant.
We had no hot water for 5 days... we were only staying for 1 week!
We cleaned the toilet ourselves with a bottle of bleach. Our sheets were not changed for a FULL WEEK...
The staff were lazy and unhelpful and could not speak English.
The dining room floor was filthy and had not been cleaned. The cutlery and crockery were dirty when you went for breakfast.
I have been going to Turkey for 15yrs and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
However... Turgutreis was an absolute Gem and I will be visiting next year but a different hotel.
Two words sums this hotel up TOTALLY DISGUSTING!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, it was the most smelly, dirty, mould infested place I have ever encountered.
the towels stank and where ripped. the shower room was filthy, the bed sheets had stains and holes in them.
There were also some stains on the wall.
the sewer next to the outside toilets were exposed, and the smell was vile.
the staff didnt give a monkeys and we never saw a holiday rep the whole week we were there to complain too. Other holiday makers had sadly stayed there a week and had spent all there money on food as it was impossible to eat there. the food was left exposed and was infested with flies. we ate there the first morning and never went back.other holiday makers had been ill, not surprising.
Thank god we had family there who we stayed with and ate with. Thus lessening the extra expense. Golden Trail couldn't care less once they have your money, on return we compalined and refused to except our photographic evidence and offered us £20 each compensation, what an insult.
The locals know about this hotel and it is the local running joke.
If you go to this hotel after reading this, you get what you deserve.
