i was extremley disappointed just came back 1/11/10 weather very good hotel facilties very poor, was assurred hotel was open all year yet the shower took 10 mins for hot water to come through, the bed linen was stained yellow and most of the facilities were closed. Outside the hotel appeared to be a red light district with nightly visits from prostitutes/police. The sea front area was beautiful, however bearing in mind it took over 30 minutes to walk there.

Just came back last week from a week's holiday at this hotel. Just wanted to say how good this hotel is and I would definitely stay there again. The staff were extremely friendly and they had weekly entertainment but did not pressure you to go if you didn't fancy it. Beer was excellent value at only 3TL for an Efes and the food was also great value. Probably the cheapest place to eat along the whole street.

My partner and I have just spent two weeks at the Selge hotel,got back this morning.
We had a really pleasant time there.Everyone one was so friendly and helpful,nothing was too much trouble.We would certainly go again,nice relaxed atmosphere,and great service.Compliments to the chef too ,very good food.
Hope you have a good season lads, you deserve it !

Well, the hotel is your basic turkish hotel, very clean, food is very turkish but nice. The staff are absolutely lovely.. had an AMAZING time in this hotel, going to miss them all so much :( definitely going to come back in the summer, the staff couldn,t be more helpful and they can,t do enough for you. Hello to Nigel, Furat, Mustaffa and Tarot! Kelieeeee ha! going to miss u alllll.
Defo stay in this hotel it,s a great laugh,

I stayed at the Selge Hotel in August / September 2007 and this was my first time to Turkey and i fell in love with the country it is very beautful and the staff were great Nothing was too much trouble for them!

I'm going over there again on the 17th June 2008 with my best friend so it must be good!!!

Stayed at the selge for 2 weeks at end of June in to July with my husband and had the best holiday as staff are wonderful.
We went as strangers and left as friends we will be going back to see them again!

stayed at selge otel for 2 weeks on the second day my wife to be was pestered constantly by one of the young male staff constantly putting his head on my gf breasts and grabbing her from behind even tho i was next to her having a quiet drink and relaxing. reported it to boss adam of the hotel he said it wont happen again but then we started to feel unwelcome and while i was in toilets lights kept going out and we kept being pestered to eat at their restaurant even tho the food was real dry . also beware of prostitutes right outside the hotel being chased every hour by gendarmarie . in a nutshell the hotel was terrible the only thing good was the pool and the polite cleaner but even she didnt replace the sheets unless she was asked to ...its a very dodgy place even with local mafia coming to hotel to collect there share every week
