I stayed at Sinem in August. No hot water for shower in morning, they changed rooms ok for a couple of days but no hot water again. Hotel was basic, staff was ok. There was cats roaming all round dining tables while having your meals. Marmaris is a lovely place except for... more

i booked this holiday at the last minute with one of my friends. what a great choice. the staff were so friendly and within a few hours arriving they new exactly what we wanted at the bar. the rooms were of average size but as said on other reviews the shower was tiny. in order to wash my hair i had to keep turning the water on and off! however, they were very clean and the maids came in daily. the breakfast was basic, ie, bread/toast, jams, cheese, eggs and drinks. however this was more than sufficient and im a very fussy eater....

hi, me and my boyfriend took the 2 kids here last year, what can i say my 2nd time in turkey, the kids first holiday abroad and everyone loved it... this hotel was perfect location, just a few minutes from main street/beach etc... not too close so it was quiet enough to sleep at night, but literally just 2/3 mins and you were in the centre of everything.. the hotel itself was very clean, very well run and staff were brilliant, a couple own this hotel and they are so friendly, at the end of the night after us sitting and drinkin all...

very poor value for money

this was a very basic hotel . the breakfast was not as id been led to believe it was turkish hard boiled egg salad and cheese. they would do english breakfast if we paid extra. rooms very small shower cubicle was very small and u couldnt turn round in it and very had to get in it unless u were anorexic. no english tv or radio in hotel. reception entrance had been locked so entry was via garden gate with 3 very deep broken steps 3 of us had mobility problems and it was so painful trying to use them one man had to carry wife s...

Basic but clean

My wife and I have just returned from a week in Marmaris at the Sinem Hotel. From outside the hotel doesn't look up to much but inside you are presented with a very clean and tidy hotel. The rooms are basic but were sufficient for our stay. They were cleaned daily and towels and linen changed twice a week. The showers were cold in the morning, but very warm in the evening, probably due to the solar water heating system they had. Breathe in when you get into the only lift as it's a bit small. We have just returned from marmaris and we stopped in (sinem hotel and apartments) for 2 weeks. The apartments were cleaned every day, the swimming pool is a nice size and gets the sun all day. The staff couldn,t have been better they were very helpful and freindly. The food was very nice and they had a bbq every night which is very cheap. The boss abdi and his wife are very freindly and pleasent people. The beach is only 5 mins walk .You pay extra for air conditioning which is cheap, overall we would highly recommend it for families or...

Cant begin to tell you how relieved i was when me and my boyfriend turned up at this hotel, ill be honest its not much to look at from the out side but when u get in, the staff could not be any nicer, and the grounds are extremely pretty with the tropical plants and flowers. The pool is a very decent size, and comapred to other pools around marmaris we were very lucky. They serve very nice food, and have a bbq everyday where u can order fresh food and if u wanted u can ask them for exaple fish for the next day and they go out and buy it to...

my husband and i have just returned after staying in sinem for 2 weeks.the owners couldnt do enough for us.the lads behind the bar was surperb,they never stopped working or smiling.on arrival we asked for extra pillows they were bought to us within ten mins of asking.the pool was a good size bigger than you see on the pics in brochere.plenty of sun loungers with free matress and plenty of sunshades.we ate at the hotel a few nights because the food was excellent and on par with other restaurants, in fact the owner cooked us a lamb dish it...

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in the sinem hotel & apts and what a lovely week it was! The weather was 35 degrees all week, and the hotel was great. Myself, husband and 14 year old daughter stayed self catering in a 1 bedroomed apt. We didnt arrive until the early hours of the morning and found they had made up the sofa bed in the lounge to save us messing around after our journey. The hotel was family run,and they were very pleasent family. The rooms were basic but very clean and there was a hair drier and air con but there was a charge for the air con. The swimming pool was suitable size and there was a pool bar / food snacks availble at all times. (bar prices compered with high street prices) The postion of the hotel was close to the beach and the main shopping centre. Overall we had a brilliant holiday. We would recommend this hotel, and have been visiting Turkey for 10 years.
Excellent Family Hotel

Have been going to Marmaris for the last 7 years. We fly from Glasgow to Dalaman Airport, check-in at Dalaman is a nightmare and you have to pay £10 to get in. It takes about 1.45m to get from airport to resort. Hotel can arrange transfer for you which is a good idea, the hotel rooms are large clean and have fridge, air con , ect. Most hotels in Turkey are basic unless you pay upwards of £100 a night. At the Sinem you can book a room around £20 a night per room not per person which is great value as each room sleeps...

stayed here 25th september for 1 week bed and breakfast was more than happy with hotel staff very friendly hotel clean ,rooms small but was well pleased and just a short walk from beach would definateley go back there again and bar area was good and clean a few cats... more
