Just got back from staying here for 2 weeks and the hotel spoilt my holiday in beautiful marmaris. In the travel agents the pictures really do look deceivingly nice of this hotel. We had a choice of this or for £50 more "my dream hotel" down the road which was actually better located and we wish we would of paid the extra £50 and gone and stayed their. Booked to stay here based on a few average/ good reviews on here for this hotel and a very lovely looking picture on teletext. We arrived here at 4.30am in the morning due to delays at the airport and were really looking to crawling into bed! We were seen up to our room on the 4th floor (in a very small ancient style lift). Booked this hotel thinking it looked nice in the brochure (looks alot nicer than some hotels in the area). Although the location is OK, a bit of a walk to the main centre, the only good thing about the hotel was the pool, it was big and there was a shallow end. The staff are lovely at this hotel and are always willing to help and friendly. My problem was the hotel and it is just my view, The hotel charges £5 a day for air con which is a lot seeing that you need it. There was no mirror ,or kettle and the pillows felt they were chiseled from sandstone. The room was the size of a large cupboard. I am just back from the Banu Beach Hotel, Marmaris and I had a thoroughly fantastic holiday. Firstly, the rooms are basic and small but the maids are efficient and visit daily. The Hotel itself is very clean but the staff work too hard for too little money!! The 2 receptionists Ozkan and Millich(spelt incorrectly), these pair of gents were the fountain of all knowledge and helped us out loads. The Jewel in the Crown rep was a bit of a wide boy and is worth keeping and eye on!! You can get some fantastic bargains for the trips... more

We visited banu beach hotel and although it was small rooms they were very clean and the maids came everyday. If you are up in time! we used the banu apartments pool which was deeper. All the staff in the hotel and apartments were really nice and we would defo go back there again!

I really loved staying in Banu Hotel was great, they have a wonderful team of staff especially Ozkan, he is so helpful and lovely he is the receptionist and i felt so welcomed by him always greeted by a smile. Banu is lovely as well, and she was always smiling at me too. The Hotel is amazing extremely clean due to the wonderful maids who work endlessly making your room not only clean but they do great designs with your towels on your bed, it is so comfortable and cosy. Best hotel out of all the ones i've tried, so great i am going back... more

Banu Hotel is small but cozy and was a great place to stay for my first visit to Marmaris. The rooms are small but clean, in fact it is cleaned daily by the lovely maids and if you leave them a tip, you may be surprised to find a show of appriecation from them with your towl in the form of a heart. Staff are friendly and helpful, overall it was a pleasant stay and I would stay at Banu again.
