Oberoi Hotel

We wanted to 'get away from it all' for a week and were incredibly lucky to stay in a villa with ocean view at the Lombok Oberoi. We based ourselves on Tripadvisor to select the Hotel and found the comments very accurate. The place is so perfect that we spent most of our time on the lovely hotel grounds, but we also thoroughly enjoyed our visit to some vilages on the island. We toured Indonesia and stayed at a variety of 5 star resorts and found the Oberoi to be one of our favorites. The grounds are incredibly well-maintained with a series of infinity pools arranged close to the shore with views of the Gili Islands. The rooms are very large and best when offer a slice of the ocean view. Service was impeccable. Our only complaint was that the menu is a bit limited but overall the food and service were excellent. Highly recommended for romantic getaways

Fantastic place very relaxing and a great ay to start our honeymoon. Fantastic massages, lovely rooms and great food. It's all a bit pricey but Oh so worth it. The meals are all at teh hotel but they do have variety to keep it interesting. Great place to go and relax.

I stayed at the Oberoi for three days at the end of January, and would rank it with the best resort hotels in all of Asia.The staff, as others have noted, is really exceptional: courteous and helpful without being obtrusive, genuinely friendly and interested in the guest's comfort. The GM, Marc Denton, is Swiss, and clearly committed to the place. He was much in evidence, and greeted everyone by name. We stayed at the Oberoi for 8 days and enjoyed our vacation very much. It is very peacefull. Service is exceptional and very personal. Views from the hotel are great. Rooms, especialy the villas, are top notch. There are a lot of things to do from the hotel which largely compensates the very small sandy beach in front of the property. The food was good and varied though the prices for meals are expensive by Asian standards.

My wife and I stayed at the Oberoi for 12 nights as part of our 6 week honeymoon. After touring New Zealand and a stop over in Sydeny we arrived in Lombok for what we wanted to be was our time for rest and luxury - we were not dissapointed. This is the place to relax. The staff is so helpfull and even want to show you their village. We planned to visit some sites but didnt do almost anything! The food (ok not included) is one of the best i ever ate in a hotel! Nice and quiet rooms. Go here!

We stayed at Oberoi Lombok for 5 nights, concluding our 3 week holiday in both Bali and Lombok. Arriving at the hotel, we were impressed by its beauty, simplicity, and calmness. We were welcomed by the general manager and almost immediately escorted to our Pavillion for check-in. This hotel is where "heaven meets earth". Ideal for adults who want to have peace and quiet in a beach resort. Lombok is a beutiful island , the oberoi caters for every whim ,the staff are very attentive. The sunsets are gorgeous, we stayed in a pavilon garden view,sunken bath spaciousrooms with large terrace even a choice of 6 kinds of pillows !!! GO! GO! My wife and I spent a part of our honeymoon here and will remember it for the rest of our lives Incredible food, first class service from staff, tranquil location, lovely beach, gorgeous pool and simply one of the best hotels in the world. The new manager has really made this one of the top locations to go to in my opinion. The whole experience took our breath away and we were very sad when we had to leave.
