IC Hotel Santai

First thing!!!!! This hotel is not in Belek, it is much closer to the city (town really) of Kadriye!!!! When only considering the lobby and outside of the hotel, this hotel would be 5 stars. These areas are well developed and extremely enjoyable. The rooms, however need some additional attention. Despite the fact that we were in a junior suite, the room was disappointingly basic. In fact, the only things that would suggest the room was a suite were the view and the bath robes. We spent 6 days in IC Hotel Santai in Belek, Antalya, and after all it was an excellent holiday. The hotel is large enough to accommodate lots of people, has four swimming pools for adults (one indoor) and 2 pools for small kids. The room is clean, the facilities are ok, the service as expected. There are several a-la-carte restaurants, but the main restaurants can accommodate all preferences. The food was fresh, diverse, and tasty. We, my husband, daughter and myself, cannot understand the complaints about this hotel. All the staff spoke at least a little english, some were more fluent, especially the bar and restaurant staff who were a friendly lively bunch. We tought the staff, with the exception of a surly receptionist, were lovely. How many of the complainees on this site attempted to speak a little Turkish? We spent 4 glorious days at the IC Santai. Everything is included in the room rate except for the special restaurants and spa treatments. However, the Turkish cuisine in the dining room is so delicious I don't know why you would want to eat anywhere else. Everything was fresh and plentiful and each day the variety changed. You can absolutely ignore the negative reviews about IC Santai for a very good reason - the low prices of the hotel. If you have the money to stay in hotel Rixos Premium that would be the right choice for you, but in case you cannot afford a more expensive (and a better) place to stay in Belek - IC Santai is a fairly good choice for you! We stayed in santai from 15/7/07 for 2 weeks food good, entertainment was good in day but rubbish at nite there was so many russians and east europeans that every thing was said in 3 or 4 diffrent languages we was told we were the only english here since april by the rep who met us at the airport.we was not told this by alternative travel(not be using them again)aLL THE TRIPS WERE EXPENSIVE best day out was water rafting.then they rip you off with drinks d.v.d.s photos.the best was the drink all propper stuff not local rubbish.in our party... more

This hotel is frequented mostly by Russians with some Germans and Dutch. I think I must have been the only Englishman in the place. When we arrived the airconditioning was not working throughout the whole hotel. We were told that the local power station had caught fire and all hotels were relying on their own generators. After a few days, things began to work but only at certain times and not all night so sleeping was difficult. I have stayed in IC SANTAI during the period 21.06 – 1.07.2007 together with my family. It was the 7th vacation spent on Turkish Riviera at 5 stars hotels and we have always been very satisfied except this vacation spent in IC SANTAI. We just returned from a week at the IC Santai. Upon arrival we found the staff to be helpful and friendly, however, we were shocked to find that our room, on the uppermost floor, had no air conditioning. I immediately went to the front desk, who said they would fix the problem asap. After a hot and sticky night in my room I went back to the front desk to ask that it please be fixed.
