Now called Barcelo Ankara - doesnt make it less awful!!

A very bad experience and I checked-out after one night. I usually stay at the Ankara Sheraton but was asked to stay here, for convenience, during a local conference. The hotel is old, dirty and noisy due to the proximityof a busy road junction. I asked for a non-smoking room and despite checking this on arrival, I was given a smoking room, compete with cigarette ash on the carpet. An awful shower and a very uncomfortable bed with poor linen rounded off the gruesome experience... Stay away.
