Peach Hill Hotel

Peach Hill is quite a nice mid-range hotel situated between Kata and Karon beaches.
As the name suggests, it is built on a hillside and as such may not be suitable for those who have trouble with steps (as there were steps everywhere!). There was a choice of rooms - bungalows further down the hill and hotel style rooms with balconies at the top (probably the only ones with a sea view would be the top floor).
We stayed in a bungalow and it was very comfortable with a view of the gardens going down the hill towards the town.
Because it is near to the northern end of Kata it is a good location for walking to restaurants and bars and also the beach for those who don't mind the heat too much. However, because it is near the town, you do get some noise from the bars, although I didn't find it to be too intrusive.
There are three swimming pools (two quite nice, one which I think was the original and not so nice), one pool has a swim up bar. Breakfast was a buffet and pretty average.
Not a bad hotel if you don't mind not having a sea view.
