Dusit Resort & Polo Club Hotel

My husband and I spent 3 days in Bangkok and 9 days in this beautiful hotel, it was pure luxury. The standard of this hotel was excellent, the maids, staff and beautiful restaurants in this hotel was amazing. We also had our own private beach. The swimming pool in this hotel was awesome. We also had a swim up bar. Our balcony looked on to the beautiful gardens. I felt and was treated like royalty. We left this hotel to fly to Dubai and the accommodation in Dubai was nothing in comparison to the Dusit. I left my heart with a local on the beach and promised to pick it up some day. I would highly recommend this grand luxurious hotel.

My family and I have travelled to Thailand many times before. We stayed at the Dusit Resort with my 6 year old daughter.
Rooms excellent for a beach resort, as was breakfast. All staff very polite and helpful.
Vast pool area and a good clean beach. However, care should be taken as some jellyfish present during rainy season.
Daughter enjoyed horse riding each day for a very reasonable cost.
Hua Hin we thought was a much less seedier resort that many of the others in Thailand, Pattaya, Patong etc.
However, many excellent quality restaurants all of which were reasonably priced. Local restaurants also of good quality and very very cheap. Excellent fresh seafood a local speciality.
Meal for 5 including selection of starters, and 2 - 3 rounds of drinks usually costing between £15 - £20, (£3 - £4 each). Cheapest evening meal (as above), cost a little over £5 and was still excellent quality. Only downside to this restaurant was toilet shared with bar across the road.
All in all I would recommend the Dusit resort to couples and families alike.
Explore local area, and don’t be afraid to try some of the local restaurants. From the Dusit, we found a local aircon taxi that would pick up at hotel, drop-off in Hua Hin and stay for us to return. All for 400 baht.
