Woodlands Hotel

I cannot fault the Woodlands Hotel & Resort. I paid 65$ per night and got a hotel that is on par with $200 per night places in Australia overall the hotel is small but makes good use of space the finishes are good and service faultless located in North Pattaya. It is where you want to stay not far from all activities. As a tourist the breakfast buffet was also very good. Gym, pool and spa facilities are 1st class.

Excellent stay at Woodlands in Pattaya. Staff could not do enough for us, always smiling and willing to help. Even security guards were friendly and always on standby to greet us each time we were going out or coming back to the hotel. Overall you can feel that this place is well managed, no one will regret staying at the Woodlands. My next Pattaya trip I will definitely stay at Woodlands again. Also forgot to mention the lovely and excellent in house Spa therapists, very good service.

This is my second visit and came with family. Excellent stay same as last time. The only thing is that travellers should be aware that there is a construction site located on a land at the back of the resort so some days there is noise from the construction but I know this is not the hotel fault. They have 2 swimming pools so if you stay at the second pool there is no noise at all. Anyway the service is very friendly, rooms clean and nice. I will be back again this summer as I feel this is my second home!!!

What more can i say about this fab hotel, everything about it was more than our expectation, from the moment we arrived, till the day we went home. Our room was brill. looked brand new! i liked the walk in shower, and the electronic devise where you touched to turn on lights. Iwould like to say how good the lads were in putting the stage up in the pool, for xmas and new year gala meal and cabaret. It was excellant, the food was wonderfully presented, compliments to all who put ther effort intoit.All in all both wher wonderful eveningsand acredit to everyone concerned.We even had a visit by "santa" who gave everyone a sun viser whith the hotel name and address on, a wonderful reminder of our stay. My husband said it was the best celebration we have had! And we are looking to go back again this xmas and new year, but hopefully for 4wks! We loved everything about pattaya, and the hotel was in a nice position, away from all the hussle, but only a short ride on the baht bus to get to it if you wanted. So hopefully we will be back at the Woodlands dec. 2007. Thanks for a brill holiday. Sheila and jimmy gibson.

well what can we say - the hotel is superb. The staf are really friendly - they know you on first name basis and nothing is too much trouble. The deluxe rooms are very comfortable and very clean - they are cleaned every day and the sheets and pillow cases are changed daily. The pool areas are very relaxed and the loungers are comfortable - towels are provided. The food in the restaurant is excellent and a very wide choice catering for all tastes. We would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone going to pattaya and would go back time and time again.

We stayed at this resort purely based on reviews from this site. I was impressed the minute we walked in. It's far enough away from bustling Pattaya to have peace but only a short ride on a baht bus to get to the main attractions. I thought the poolside was idyllic and the pool bar is a favourite of mine. I was annoyed at having to hunt for sunbeds pretty early in the morning. Although there is a sign saying that unattended towels will be removed after 20 minutes this does not happen and sunbeds can be reserved all day with the bathers only coming out for an hour or so. I was suprised at this as they were pretty strict with me eating fruit by the pool which I did not purchase from the hotel! The Thai massage and facial were amazing and a nice touch to the hotel. The girls are lovely and do everything they can to make your time wonderfully relaxed. I was impressed with the range of items for breakfast and cannot fault it at all. The only thing that bothered me is that the local cats just wander round the breakfasting area and they are pretty flea-bitten. It's quite off-putting sometimes when a cat rubs against your leg and you aren't expecting it! Don't go for the option of having breakfast in your room, it is much nicer and fresher to go to the dining room. We tried out their Saturday night international buffet which was gorgeous and I would highly recommend it. We dined in the hotel another two evenings and the meals never even came close to this, it was something else! The showers run hot and cold and you tend to soak the whole bathroom when you have one but I was impressed with the bathroom - a lot nicer than other hotels during our 1 month stay in Thailand. The coffee shop is a delight and something that you should not miss if you happen to go to this resort. All in all, a very good hotel and one I would certainly return to!

Spent four days here based on the reviews on tripadvisor. Everything was correct. It is a really nice and friendly hotel. Excellent rooms and very friendly stafff. Two excellent pools with lots of greenery. Very quiet and relaxing where you can completely escape from the otherwise very noisy and busy pattaya. 5 mins walk to the beach down a quiet road. Short walk to shopping and nightlife. The spa is excellent and a good thai massage there is worth every penny. All in all a very nice experience.

We are soon returning to the hotel, we have stayed at numerous hotels in Asia all the hotels we have stayed at are the very large well known hotels. But as far as we are concerned the Woodlands takes some beating. It is a small hotel and all the staff are second to none.

Prior coming to Pattaya I had a lot of negative apprehension about the city but finally it was not that bad al all. For all of you whom have heard so much negative comments about Pattaya, you are wrong, it is a nice place to be and there is a lot to do. I have stayed there with my family (husband & daughter) and we all had a great time. We stayed at the Woodlands from a friend's recommendation and we were so glad to have chosen this resort. Location, staff, service, food were really great. Couldn't have asked for better. Will be back to Pattaya in January but this time I will bring my parents along!

The Woodland is a very pleasant well maintained property. Rooms are modern and sized OK. Pool is v good with plenty of lounges, open bar, etc. Breakfast is v good. (tip: get a 98Bt cocktail from Mr Cocktails right at the Dolphin roundabout and watch the world go by). Tailor at the resort is Ok I bought a good looking sports jacket, trousers and shirt for A$150.
