Baan Samui Resort Hotel

I was just browsing and noticed there were no comments on this hotel. I stayed here with my boyfriend for 2 weeks in January 2006. It was a lovely experience and wish I could go every year.
The staff were very friendly and always very polite.
We stayed on a B&B board and the breakfast was very good. Lots to choose from, cereal, pastries, toast, eggs any way you want them. They make them as you wait. Basically the usual buffet breakfast choice.
The pool at Baan Samui is fab! Although I prefer the beach, so sunbathed there most days - absolutely beautiful. You get a clean towel everyday.
The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The bed we had was huge, slept like a baby most nights - air con was great too!
The only thing that was a bit unfortunate was that every time I sat on the balcony I was bitten by mosquito’s so take loads of anti-bite sprays etc.
You must have a massage on the beach - don’t pay the hotel spa - too pricey.
I had one everyday on the beach also pedicures are excellent.
The holiday was fantastic. When you see the 4 and 5 star hotels they look gorgeous but to be honest I don’t think it would have made my holiday any more enjoyable just more expensive.
If I ever go back I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Baan Samui.
If you go, walk along the beach at night to the beach bars (5mins). It is so chilled and amazing lying looking up at the stars drinking cocktails. The best holiday so far.
