Gorgulu hotel on Kleopatra beach:- Alanya Turkey is a great hotel for families, the turkish nights are great for bringing everyone together.. and the staff are also great, although some of the staff cannot speak english they still have a welcoming smile and are willing to help if you have any problems...
FOR THE CHILDREN:- There is a large and small swimming pool, the hotel is on te beach and the hotel includes a small park/ playing area for the children.
The rooms are very clean and cater for all needs.
I enjoyed my stay at Gorgulu hotel and i would reccommend it to anyone.
Also the hotel is about 5 minutes from te city centre which is great for the shopaholics

The rooms are ok, so is the location of the hotel. The receptionists are not doing a great job, but they are friendly. That's about all the positive things I can say about this hotel. We were charged a lot of money for dirty towels they didn't even tried to wash. They had only been used inside the hotel room after having a could shower with no water power at all. We washed them our selves and they were totally clean. This cost us 20-30 eur, which the hotel management refused to refund. We also paid a lot for a safe which key didn't fit. This money were not refunded either, even though we couldn't use the safe for the whole stay. Some of the girls in our group were accused for dying there hair black and by that destroying towels and sheets. This was a just a crazy ly from the hotel, which they finally understood when they saw that the two girls had blond, nearly white hair... This is just some of the problems we had to face during our stay at Royal Palm Hotel.
If you have other options, go to another hotel!

We had big problems with this Hotel/appartmens. We eat once at the Hotel and it was really bad. The rooms where OK, but service stinks. We got charged 14 Euros for a towel that they ment was to dirty.. The water was often cold and the showers had almost no water. This made it hard to get rid of all the sand from the beach, which again made the towels dirty. We complained, but the boss only smile and told us it the towel was to dirty, so we had to pay. Several other episodes made it clear to us that they where trying to cheat the customers in every episodes possible.
The hotels HAMAM(Tyrkish bath) was really bad and expensive and the gym was a joke.
We will never return.

This hotel is right on the beach....its a perfect location easy to get to the main shopping areas by bus which stops right outside hotel.......
This hotel does not cater for british people......more russians and eastern europeans....
The food was awful not too much meat.....but I ate out most of the time....the waiters do not speak English....I must say the coffee was good....
I had to wake up at 0600 am to leave my beach towels on a sunlounger as most of them were taken at 0500 am and I needed to be by the pool to supervise my child....If you tried to get a sunbed at 0700 u would be out of luck...
Room was small but did not matter as we only slept in the room...
