A first class hotel style B&B with modern amenities and friendly people. Excellent breakfast and comfortable rooms.
The Craigatin is based to the north end of Pitlochry and has its own parking area. A number of hotels are nearby for food in the evening and there are a number of good restaurants in the town.
Pitlochry is a great area for a base to explore the central highlands with Ben Vrachie on its doorstep and numerous "Munro" height mountains within a short driving distance. For those not wishing to head for the tops, the area abounds with low level walks and tracks and reasonable shopping opportunities - try the house of Braur as a treat (the Harrods of the North).
So if you are staying in Pitlochry I can recommend the Craigatin as a quality place to use as a base.
