Comments:  We have just returned from two weeks at the Bozok. Had a fab time there. Rooms were large and very clean and the maid service was excellent.
Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. They were a great laugh, especially during the weekly pool party. Food at the pool bar was great with plenty of choice. Turkish night was very good. Be prepared to do some belly dancing! Great location. Not too far from the main street where all the bars, shops and restaurants are. Beach is about ten minute walk away.
We would definately go back to the Bozok.

Comments:  Just thought id like to add an honest review about this accomodation , I read these reviews before I went which made me choose this accomodation. Also the fact it was a large tour operator Thomson that we booked through made me think that 3 star plus was actually what it said it was.

It wasnt.

Far from it ! we arrived at 4 at night to be given our room key , told we needed to pay extra for air con (30.00) even though Thomson page says cool off in your room - no chance unless you paid for it youd roast !!

The decor was horrific , blue tiles everywhere with blue 70's wardrobes , as previous reviews said take your own toilet roll as none unless you pay !! slightly mad if you ask me self catering or not ! clean towels once a week.

our room hadnt been cleaned from the previous guests even though we since found out on the last day you have to vacate the room by mid day unless you pay 20.00 extra to stay till 21.00 even though they took 20.00 deposit for breakages ....as you can see the extra money is clocking up !!! we then moved rooms to another room that again wasnt cleaned and ended up just accepting it on the undertsanding it would be cleaned the next day ... probably by the afternoon if i remember rightly !

Air con was more like a cooling fan on the wall , hardly high tech and i dont know if im being snobby but id expect that as a given in a three star plus!!

The bathroom was incredibly small in all rooms with plastic showers that flooded and as told by the rep - Emma - the water pressure made the showers break so none of our shower heads actually stayed upright so was very difficult to wash hair etc whilst trying to hurry in order not to flood the bathroom!!
The toilets smelt , there was no ventilation in a small bathroom so you can imagine it wasnt pleasant.

At this point your probably thinking I moan about things for a living , i dont , i really wanted a true image of the accomodation in relation to the price !! I have stayed all over the world from 5 star to 2.00 a night in the middle of the jungle. I just expect to get what i paid for and when i pay nearly a thousand pound for a holiday (accomodation only) i expect to get what i paid for.

I also have to say Emma's attitude was poor , telling me that it was down to opinions... a smell isnt an opinion... she also advised me turkey was nearly a third world country ...which i found absurd ... you dont pay 5.00 per drink in any other third world country !!! or a 1000 pound for accomodation !

Im going to finish on a lighter note as I believe these sites are to review the accomodation not the holiday as the holiday is how YOU make it !! Me and my partner had a wonderful time in Turkey , hes been before and it was my first time , i have to say i wasnt keen on the idea but the people were lovely !!!! amazingly healpful nothing too much trouble, food was amazing , whatever you want you can have! weather was amazing , if you want a nice relaxing holiday with an abundance of restaurants and good people then turkey is for you - just i wouldnt recommend Bozok

Comments:  Just got back from Club Bozok and had a week there,Turkey is great stayed in Gumbert a few times but i have to say after reading the reveiws on Bozok i couldnt wait to go this time !

Until i got there !! Dont get me wrong im not someone that wines at everything i can put up with a lot ha ! But getting to my room at 4am with dirty bins in there beds not made from the last guestes was a little to far,I Dont understand the 10/10 reveiws as the apartments where large but had a horrid 1980 deco and the bathroom was so small it was silly ! we moved rooms and it was clean but just the same,The shower was flooding after 5 mins theres no extraction in the tiny little area which means it smells of drains(not all the time),This hotel is basicly a 2 star this isnt just my oppinion but most of the people that was there no where near the standerds of the 3* i stayed in last yr .

We checked in at 4am on monday morning and on the sunday at 11am they wanted £20 from us or out the room,Which i just laughed at really we didnt fly till monday again so we have to pay,Nice one,Tip they want £30 for the air con,If you ask you'll get discount ha why not just give it anyway,It seems Bozok was only intrested in the cash and if you want to lend a fan £10 ha yet another joke!

Me and my girlfriend would go back to turkey no problem but Club bozok is no 3 star or 3+ def not ! and we wouldnt dream of going back there due to the for me poor room,Bathroom .

I'll finish on a lighter point and why i gave it 4,Bozok Out of your room is a nice place if the room matched outside it would be a what its ment to be ! The Pool is great its not too busy at all the staff are really cool ! Got to love mehmet ha ! the food is nice and everything out the room is almost redeemed .. untill you get back to the room ha,It didnt spoil my holiday cause we where not in the room to much but i was disapointed and for what we paid felt a little hard done by to be honest, if you have little ones also theres no path from hotel and you have to walk on to the main road to get to the paths which is crazy again for a hotel thats suppose to be a 3+ star.

All in all i felt Cub Bozok if sold as a 2* would be a nice place the pool and outdoors was clean and great but selling the place as a 3+* was well off the mark and staying in other places bozok isnt worth anywhere near what i paid for .

Comments:  well... me and my husband Tony daughter Laura(15) and son Ryan(11) had an absolutely amazing time in Turkey. the apartments, the location, the people there is not a thing we could fault.

we arrived at 3.30ish on the monday morning and we then had our cases carried to our rooms, the staff were so helpful. yes we were charged for air con but we were warned of this while we booked. we couldnt fault Emma the rep she helped us alot throughout our holiday.

The Staff such as Eto, Alex, Resit,Diego, Ali(the chef), Anton and Mehmet. They were great fun and made our holiday what it was. the food was fantastic. meals were of a great portion. plent of freebes example starter wine and deserts. we prefered staying in the apartments for food rather than going out as service and meals were alot better.

The rooms were very hygenic and cleaned regularly. any problems and Mehmet would help us to sort it. the security gaurd was very friendly along with all of the cleaners.

We look forward to seeing everyone next year.

Comments:  I have to say that staying at Club Bozok made our holiday to be the best one ever. There is plenty to keep the kids occupied and the rooms are extremely clean with a maid service every day, only down fall was you have to supply your own toilet roll. The view from the Hotel was fab and only a short walk into town where you are spoilt for choice of bars, restuarants and shops....There is also plenty to do on the beach on a night time for the kids. The staff at Bozok were fantastic, Anton, bless who kept the bar open until the last one finished drinking, Eto, Alex made our holiday, so friendly and excellent with the kids. They went that extra mile every time...Defo booking up for next year. Sad news though I have since found out upon our return that Anton has now left Bozok, I have to say he will be a miss as he worked so hard to get all involved in the hotel entertainment. Won't be the same without him....Good Luck Anton in what ever you do

Comments:  Myself, partner and 15 year old daughter just back from 2 weeks at Club Bozok. By far the best holiday we have had in Turkey. We arrived at 3.30am and Anton was waiting to meet us and had the bar open so that we could have a soft drink before going to our room. The security guard carried our cases to our room. Apartments were spotless, food was lovely and not expensive. (Quite a lot of stairs though so could cause problems if you have walking difficulties). The staff could not have been friendlier, I could not fault one of them. Eto, Alex, Richard and Anton were so friendly and could not do enough for you. The owner Ahmed speaks good English and is very hospitable so take time to get to know him. We had a view over the pool and the whole of Gumbet - a dream to wake up to every morning.
Apartments are just a 5 minute walk to the centre of Gumbet and you will be spoiled for choice for places to eat, drink and shop. All the resturants are great but would recommend The Family Door which is only a couple of hundred yards from the apartments. We ate there 4 times - fantastic. Would also recommend that you eat at the beach at least once. (only a short walk from apartments) They take the sunbeds off the sand and replace with tables and chairs and candles. Very romantic and you can actually be eating with the water nearly touching your feet!
All the bars have free internet and pool tables so it keeps the teenagers out of the extremely hot sun in the afternoon. A good range of families there so our daughter had no problems making friends.
I would just like to thank all the staff at Club Bozok for the best holiday ever and we will definately be booking for next year.
Also thanks to Emma, our rep, who was there every day and could not have been more helpful.

Comments:  this was probably the best holiday we have had in turkey. the hotel was great staff were brilliant. Our baby daughter took bad on the first day and the staff couldn't do enough to help phoning the docs for us .The staff would do all they could to make sure you had everything you wanted. The resort itself was lovely no real hassle from the shopkeepers.expect some friendly persuasion off the restraunters to get you to eat in thier place, but a polite no usually works. If you want areally tasty meal try KENNYS. Go out of the hotel straight down the road 100 yards it is on the corner on your left. Finally back to the staff Alex, Anton, Resit and Eto and especially the owners they will make sure you have a great holiday. Already booked up for next year.

Comments:  got back 30th june, after two weeks at club bozok. Pros and Cons, namely although no sea view, the view over gumbetis lovely, especially as the sun is rising, staff friendly ands rooms clean and good for the time we spent in them. as a non swimmer though the pool was out of bounds as it is 1.75 metres all round.we were in a room at the back of the bar/childrens pool which was noisey and meant climbing over sunbeds that were next to kiddies pool and across access to our room.didnt eat there as there were a lot of children staying and understandably this was a bit noisier than we like,so we ate out in local restaurants, our favourite being The Family Door, close by,the food and staff there are memorable and helped to make our holiday special. went on jeep safari through thomson ,which was brilliant, also did turkish bath, but for best turkish bath at around £3 go through queens travel in centre and the massage after was great. went to ephesus, amazing but be careful who you go with as we only got 2 hours there after 4 hour journey as they dad arranged a visit to a turkish delight shop and a ceramic workshop which were boring and not what we paid for,so check itinery before booking.overall we loved Turkey, best place i've been and if we could,we would move there, can't wait to go back.

Comments:  Age of party, 44, 70 and 14. Had a lovely holiday at The Club Bozok Apartments which are lovely and clean, the staff can't do enough for you, I requested a high floor ( 3rd Floor) and when I arrived I was amazed that one of the staff, who was quite a small chap, lifted my case (20 kg) on one shoulder and took my daughters case (18 kg) in the other hand and went running up the steps to our apartment, the apartments have quite a few steps so if this could cause a problem for you request a low floor. The staff especially Anton take time to always remember your name which is a nice touch, i don't know how he does it?. The Turkish night is very good, we had a great laugh. We ate out quite a lot and decided to have our last meal at the Bozok, it was the best meal we had all holiday so I recommend you try a few meals here.
Make sure you have a massage by the seven foot masseur, he is by the pool every day and gives a fantactic fifteen minute massage for just £4

The cleaners only come twice a week, so you may need to buy toilet roll, but it is only 20 pence so please don't let this put you off.

You must also try Kenny's Bar where Shaun and Romeo will make you very welcome, I bet Romeo can't count the amount of Juliettes' who like to go and pay him a visit as he is very cheeky and charming, as you leave the apartments, turn left to the junction and follow the road that dips down.

Also if you fancy a real cheap and cheerfull snack, go to the junction and follow the main road left towards the beach, when you get to the next junction near the doctors medical place you will see a little place to eat just going up the hill on the right, only a limited menu, but all meals £3 or less, and a lovely man running it who has just started out, drinks cheap too.

In Gumet itself, there are many lovely restaurants and bars, and if you want a romantic meal, head to Gumbet bay where many restaurants have candle lit tables on the sea front.

The local lager is EFES and it can be bought from some bars for about £1.00, they vary quite a lot in price so if you are on a budget, have a shop around.

Comments:  We had a great time in Gumbet, we would recommend the resort to anyone. The Club Bozok Apartments where we stayed where very clean and spacious had a lovely view across the town. Not to far from the centre of the resort. The pool was clean but be warned is deep with no shallow end. The only negative thing about the apartments is there are quite a lot of steps up from reception to the pool area and then more if your roon is on the upper floors.

We would recommend the Casablanca Restaurant, the food was fantastic and the staff very friendly, especially Falcon (the man at the front)

We went on three trips and book through Exen Travel, The owner Cumhur Kisa was very helpful and all three trips where excellent value.

Dont just take our word for it try them for yourselves.
