Club Bozok Apartments is the perfect location for a holiday in paradise! Everything is clean, fresh and sparkling new – although set on top of a small hill, it is a real “find” and we’re already planning to spend our next holiday there!

We knew immediately that we were ‘home’ – my partner and I arrived frazzled from the ‘red eye’ flight from Cardiff to be greeted by the magic words – bar’s open! After a brief debate on the merits of sleep Vs Beer, we spent the first of many wee small hours chatting away with Amhed (who dispensed free Baklava – DIVINE!), Gohkan and a lovely Scots couple – Helen and Billy. It was certainly not the last morning we stumbled up to the apartment as the sun rose and birds began to sing!

As well as the two afore-mentioned gentlemen, the entire staff were amazing, working tirelessly to make sure a good time was had by all and always with a cheeky grin – watch out for the odd barman being thrown fully clothed into the pool – always top laughs!

The room was fantastic for our needs – clean and well kitted out with maid service every day – if we annoyed them at all with our late rising habits they never let on! Breakfast at the bar was great – my favourite was the Turkish brekkie or a mixed omelette. Just perfect for soaking up the excess Margaritas of the night before! Although we never ate dinner at the Bozok, we have it on good authority that the steaks are to die for! Be sure to go along to Turkish night – the break dancers must be seen to be believed, and the belly dancer is Truly Fabulous (am now thinking about joining our local class…!)

As for Gumbet itself – it has it all in Spades! By day it is a sunbaked, sleepy chill out haven, but at night becomes one enormous party – beware the Vodka Red Bull, in Turkey it is one potent brew!

In short – there is nothing about Club Bozok not to like, in my opinion! Go ahead and book – we bet you’ll love it too!

Club Bozok is a great place to stay for a holiday in Turkey. You can see and do as much or as little as you want with Club Bozok as a base.

The apartment had every thing we needed for 2 adults & 2 children aged 13 & 10. They were spacious and very clean. I would recommend investing in the air conditioning especially in August it is worth it.

All the staff were great they made us all feel welcome especially Bahar. They make the place great. Nothing was too much trouble and they are always happy. Get to know them they are nice people.

The Bars (especially the Chinese Lotus at the Club Bozok end of Bar Street. Try the Sizzler’s) and shops were brilliant we all loved Gumbet. Don’t be afraid to haggle and have a bit of banter with the guys trying to get you into their bars you will be surprised what deals you can get.

It was our first time to Turkey and we will be going back.

It is a great place for singles, couples and families alike highly recommended.

Club Bozok is perfect! The rooms are equipped with all the basics (including a hairdryer and kettle) and air conditioning (which is very, VERY effective) is available on request.

Everywhere is kept pristine clean, especially the pool/bar area where you can watch digital TV channels on the MASSIVE TV screen!

But it's the staff who truly make the place great. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them, and never are they to be seen without a smile on their faces!

Ahmet and Gokhan are the people to talk to if you have any problems (although I seriously doubt that you will), and you can relax safe in the knowledge that whatever troubles you are having will be sorted right away.

I really can't recommend Club Bozok enough. The rooms, poolside, bar and staff are all brilliant. If you're going to Club Bozok, you're in for a treat!

Club Bozok has been the best holiday I have ever had, I have been to turkey 4 times and this has to be the best.

The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed, the pool is big and the bar is great, all the barmen where very friendly and funny. And the food in the bar/restaurant was perfect, we will definitely be going back next year and personally I can't wait it has been like heaven. I loved every second of it.

Altogether there were 8 of us in a large family. We were put into two separate rooms, one above the other.

Was fair enough only for the fact that both apartments were beside the bar and as we had 2 children and a baby they didn’t sleep very well as the bar doesn’t close until the last guest has left on our first night this happened to be half past 6 in the morning. Children up all night!

After the welcome meeting we spoke to the rep and sure enough we were moved to quitter apartments away from the bar.

The setting for the apartments was fantastic as at night you could see the whole of Gumbet bay from the balcony. Although they need to install a lift as there are a lot of steps to climb especially for my grandmother!

Overall had a brilliant time staff were all wonderful esp. Leo, Ertan, Alan and all the rest!

Wonderful holiday will be returning late august early September of this year.

Just returned form a two week self catering holiday in Club Bozok Gumbet. Rooms are based on 4 sharing one bedroom and two single sofa beds in lounge kitchen area.

Only one wardrobe between 4 adults was fun...

The appartments were basic but clean and fairly new, large fridge and a two ring electric cooker ,with a kettle and toaster.

Hairdryer in shower room. Very small balcony which could only sit two at a push.

There are a lot of steps up to the apartments and I would not recommend this accommodation to the less-able, as there is no lift available.

The appartments are situated some fifteen minuets walk from the main stretch of bars and restraunts and approximately 20 min walk to the beach.

Buses and taxies are available at a very low cost a taxi into Bodrum which takes about 20 mins costs £4.00 well work a taxi trip is Bitiz Beach ,again about £4 but the beach is great with lots of restraunts free sunbeds and is very colourful.

The pool at Bozok is about 6ft deep with no shallow end there is a very small babies pool but not really suitable for older children this could be a problem for families with children who are not strong and confident swimmers.

The markets at Bodrum and Turgetries are well worth a visit with plenty of bargains to be had take your suitcase out empty it wont take long to fill it will bargain buys.

Fake t-shirts bags shoes belts jeans are very good quality.

We are still wearing t shirts we have bought in turkey several years ago.

Although the costs have risen in recent years turkey still remains very good value for money a full cooked breakfast will cost about £3 and a steak meal about £8 shorts are about £2 and beers £2 a pint.

The boat trips are excellent value for a full day out at sea with lunch inc at about £7 and a Turkish bath, shave or haircut is not to be missed.

We love turkey and have visited most parts this is our second trip to Gumbet and I'm sure it wont be our las

We (my wife and I) have spent quite a few holidays in and around the Bodum/Gumbet area and we found Club Bozok better than any of our previous visits.

The apartments were nearly new and spotless and the staff were outstanding. The apartment we were allocated had a balcony, which got the sun in the morning but not in the afternoon. I just mentioned this in passing to Ahmed the owner/manager. Later that afternoon, there was a knock at the door and two of the bar staff told us we had been given an apartment with afternoon sun and they were there to carry our stuff to the new apartment. Amazing!

The club is on a slight hill, but then most of Gumbet is. The pool was big enough and there was a small kiddies pool. They were both cleaned every night as were the sun beds and the area surrounding the pool. There was a massive TV for the footie and the bar snacks and meals were both excellent. There were also a few tortoises and about half a dozen rabbits wandering about. I suppose by now there will probably be hundreds of rabbits!

All the staff were great and couldn’t do enough for you. All in all there were no faults with the accommodation, the staff or the location. The beach is quite narrow, but there are plenty of beds and the waiters from the bars will bring your refreshments to your sunbed.

We found that the food in all of the restaurants was of a high standard, cheap and plentiful. The fillet steaks were massive and done to perfection. The touts outside the restaurants and bars could be a pain, but we just told them we were staying full board and didn’t need food.

The only drawback as far as we were concerned was the flight times. There do not seem to be any return flights which leave Turkey much before 3 a.m. which means the last day of the holiday is a very long one especially if you have to drive home from the airport. Still, we had a great time and will be going back very shortly (June, we hope).

We have just returned from a very enjoyable two weeks staying at Club Bozok. The apartments themselves were lovely. So clean and fresh and still very new. The pool was great although if you are not a confident swimmer may not be ideal as it is 1m 70 the whole way across. There is a smaller children’s splash pool but not big enough for swimming. The bar is well stocked serving drinks, food and ice cream and all the staff are very friendly. There are pet rabbits and tortoise that wonder around the apartments too!

The resort of Gumbet is good with a wide variety of bars, shops and restaurants. We had fantastic meals at The Red Dragon, Aloha bar and Cafe de Colombia, but we recommend that you don’t go to Jasmin Gardens, or if you do stay away from the veggie lasagne! The Turkish men do tend to hassle every English person, just ignore them!

There are great bargains to be found in the shops and markets just only pay what you want for them as you can get the price down to about half of what they originally say.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and would recommend the apartments to anyone.

Brilliant holiday, think we were there when the 8 Irish girls were there (all nurses I think) and yes we are scarred for life, we were in the apartments below them, but at least we know a few Irish songs and dances now. Met some lovely people including them. Apartment’s lovely, very clean. Pool area kept immaculate as was the bar and tables. The staff, Alan, Eric, Ahmet and Fred etc were great, and nothing was too much trouble.

Gumbet was lovely, as lively or as quiet as you wanted it to be. We went the Roxy, the Aloha and the Happy Bar mostly but stayed at the apartments a couple of times, were we had some great laughs with the staff and the other guests. Turkish night is a must.

We have already booked to go back next year, as have a few of the families we met, this says a lot as I have never been or wanted to go to the same place twice.

First class accommodation, spotlessly clean, maid service excellent. Holiday was fantastic, staff at hotel were excellent and were always happy to help with anything even one of the owners Ahmet, he was a character. Bar staff were amazing, marvellous with our two children, who loved all of them, especially barman who is known as Alan. Food was excellent and the chef was always happy to oblige even if things was not on the menu. Will definitely be returning to Gumbet and especially to this hotel. First class. Well done! Keep it up. See you next year.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Apartments were spotless. My family and I had a lovely two weeks there. The staff were brilliant with the children especially the two barmen Alan and bob you couldn’t wish to be made to feel as welcome as we all did they were great nothing was too much trouble for them. I wasn’t over struck on the actual resort. The way they drive over there is unbelievable so remember to be on guard. I didn’t like the way you were hassled all the time to go in bars and shops but by the end of the holiday you got used to it. Anyway if you’re going to this hotel you will absolutely love it. So enjoy

In my opinion Club Bozok is everything you could ask for on holiday. set in a beautiful resort with a fantastic view, the club is highly maintained and to a great standard.

despite the spirals steps on entering, staff will go to great lengths to ensure your safety and ease, whether your problem be a pram, luggage or disability. the club also has a ramp that leads straight to the poolside bar for wheelchairs or prams.

all apartments are clean, spacious and all are currently being fitted with full air conditioning. the kitchenette comes equipped with cutlery and crockery, plus four bathroom towels and hairdryer, double hob cooker and washing up bowl. no plugs are provided due to the Muslim belief that all washing should be done in free running water.

the entertainment on a night is great and I cannot praise the staff highly enough for their generosity, help and kindness. all evening events are well organised and include pool parties, karaoke and Turkish nights.

facilities also include pool table, sky television, baby pool, and gardens.

I have been to turkey many times on previous occasions and have never been anywhere quite like Gumbet. the nightlife is fantastic for party animals, and if your looking for something more relaxed then there are plenty of quiet bars and restaurants down near the beach (about 8 minutes walk away). whatever you do in Gumbet ( boat trips, water sports etc.) I can ensure that you will have a fantastic time and will definitely want to return! 10 out of 10 *****

Forget about the 39 steps with Club Bozok it’s a case of the 71 steps. That’s the number we had to climb to reach our apartment. There were people at a higher level than us. Surprisingly this new building doesn’t have a lift. The spiral staircase leading up from reception is a potential death trap !

Health and safety regulations would appear to be non-existent in Turkey - there was no information pertaining to the outbreak of fire in our apartment. There is no telephone.

Cooking facilities are limited to an appliance with only two rings. The balconies are tiny and although we thought the apartment was an adequate size for the two of us we felt that four people may have felt a bit claustrophobic. The apartments are spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful.

We were without hot water for the first two days because of a lack of solar energy. We complained and hot water was available the following day. A £20 deposit is payable on arrival to defray costs in the event of breakages. However on handing back my key on leaving I asked for my money to be refunded and was told that I would have to wait for the boss to return. When I demanded that my money be refunded the staff member produced a large wad of £20 pound notes and I was duly handed my £20. I know for a fact that other holidaymakers had problems getting their money back. The Club Bozok does not have air -conditioning (May04) and satellite television is only available in the bar. Don’t make the mistake that we made of not bringing your CD player. Our complaints include (1) Faulty Toilet - poor flush (2) no plugs for sink or wash-hand basin (3)no tin-opener (4) no shower mat (5)no hangers (6)only one flimsy towel -no hand towel (7) poor lighting in lounge area (8) Cheap plastic chairs had to be used for dining table (unsafe in my experience) Watch your step in the Club Bozok there are steps everywhere. Much as I love dogs I was not happy at the way in which they appeared to have the freedom of the complex. They could be heard barking at night. I for one have a phobia of dogs overseas for obvious reasons. The Club Bozok is only about 6 minutes walk from the centre of Gumbet. There is much more to Gumbet than first meets the eye so be sure to explore the resort especially the beach area. Caveat Emptor let the buyer beware. Shop around especially for tours - you can save £5 on one tour (Ephesus). Avoid the Sunday market in Gumbet - a load of rubbish in my view. The locals are very friendly and helpful and they offer you apple tea.

Finally take care and remember your Green Cross Code !!!
