I've just got back home from the Club Del Sol, i thought it was amazing,we went on the drinks package and it was worth it we saved a fortune, i give the entertainment 10/10 and i found that all the staff and rep were very helpful.
The only bad thing about the Club Del Sol is the location, its about away from the town, but theres a bus stop right outside, which comes every 15 minutes, we walked into town a couple of times its only took around 30 minutes.
I would recommend these apartments to you

We have just come back after 2 weeks self-catering plus which means that local drinks, kids ice-cream and crisps are included. With 2 teenage, 2 young children and a 4 month old baby, this worked very well. Other all inclusive hotels I have been to have watered down the spirits and the drinks were very second rate. This was not the case here and the bar staff were always friendly and helpful. There was an option to go half board once there or to buy vouchers to go into the restaurant for a meal. We didn't do this but others who did said the food was very good. There is a snack bar which is open at lunch and for dinner. We found the food very good and very reasonably priced. There is also a bar/restaurant next to the hotel which was very popular.
The apartment had everything you need- a hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge etc. There was never a problem with hot water and the linen and towels were changed regularly. The air-con was very efficient...if you didn't turn it down you froze at night.
The entertainment was a bit repetitive at times but if you joined in, it was fun and the team, Pippa, Emma and Sean work really hard. We won the bingo twice- well worth it at 200 euros for full house!
Although the hotel is between Pollensa and Alcudia, the bus runs every 15 mins and is only 1.10 euro and there is a cycle path/pavement all the way to Pollensa and within walking distance. The hotel supermarket is expensive but there is a cheap one in Pollensa.
We had a great holiday and I would recommend it.

very noisy in the evening due to small complex in which the noise from the entertainment travels.
Breakfast is not served until 8.30am at the earliest which is difficult with young children who wake early and want to eat. however, breakfast was excellent - choice of full enlgish, cereals, toast, fresh bread, meat, ham, cheese, coffee etc.
Dinner is from 7pm until 9pm which again is difficult for young children - however, food was very good for adults - disappointing that the hotel think sall children eat fishfingers and chips. There was chips every night so for you neanderthals out there you will love this. Desserts are great - tiramisu, jelly, fresh fruit (pineapple, melon, orange, kiwi, nectarines, peaches), fresh fish, lasagne, spag bol, lots of fresh salad etc.
Hotel very clean and staff very friendly.
The rooms are a bit dated but clean and airy, beds a little uncomfortable and twin. Bathroom big and light. Kitchen has everything you could need - toaster, kettle, teapot, pans, spoons, wine opener, microwave - no fairy liquid and clothes to clean dishes with.
two very good food bars on site - one belonging to the hotel and then one at the back of the complex which has fantastic service and food choice.
Buses run from outside (we had a car but did use the bus as well) 1.10 euro each way and takes about 5 mins to Pollensa and 10 mins to Alcudia - bus runs every 15 mins.
Childrens club is very good - although the children were encouraged to be 'cheeky' saying things like bum, fart, fatty, loopy, nutty etc. the only down side to the children's club was that you could not leave them for an extended period of time - so the mas session was 2 hours then an hour or two break - you could not go anywhere in that time except sit and wait for them.
they had henna tattoos which i don't think is appropriate for children especially since they are dangerous. i realise that every parent has a choice but it is just another battle on holiday.
the fisrt choice staff at the information desk were very good at promoting activities from which they benefitted - trips, organised tours etc. but were not very helpful advising about markets, activites and making your own way there - i would takea guide book.
the entertainment in the evening was dreadful - it was reliant upon the audience and had only one outside entertainers coming in - a magic act which was basic. The staff rely upon individuals getting up and acting, singing, dacning etc and most of the time it was the kids who got up - no fun to listen to two 9 yr old girls singing (or trying to). they had a britain's got talent contest as well which was dire. the entertainment doesn't start until 10pm and is VERY loud.
i would say this is a good 3 star place and not a 4 star.

Had a wonderful time at Club Del Sol , food and drink were great , weather was excellent and the staff were brilliant . We may just have landed lucky , but even all the families around the pool were very pleasant and made what was a brilliant holiday , even better .
Pool ; the main pool was a decent size , with a seperate pool for toddlers next to it . We spend all our time at the big pool ( the bar was next to it ) . There was another pool behind the block acrooss the road , but we never used it , it just seemed to be away from all the fun and games .
Bar ; The bar at the pool was excellent ( cheers Ruben ) , and there was very little time spent queueing .
Apartment ; Our apartment was perfect for us , good size , and only 20 metres to the pool bar . 2 single beds in the bedroom pushed together , and 2 sofa beds in the living room .
Entertainment ; Mainly catered for younger kids , with games and a kiddies disco every night - on the downside , one of the entertainers ( Pippa ) seemed to be very much , anti-children , why she`s there i`ll never understand . Sean , Emma , Lynsey , Rachael & Nikki were all stars , and wee Jade ` BANANAS` loved them all .
Food ; The food was plentiful & constantly topped up and was very good value for money . There were even bottles of wine out at breakfast time , which was very good & i thought a nice touch .
All in all , we had a great time , the kids ( Aimee 11 & Jade 6 ) thought it to be their best holiday to date , and if the kids are happy , it makes for an enjoyable holiday for my wife and myself . The only negatives would be the location but buses and taxis were plentiful to take you into Pollensa or Alcudia and no clubs for kids over 8 , but Aimee had plenty friends at the pool , so it wasn`t too bad . So , the Harveys , Stephen , Jakki , Aimee & Jade had a great time and would return most definitely .

I've just come back from the Club del Sol and had a wonderful time i went with my mother and her friend and my friend we had a very relaxing stay the staff are well mannerd and the bar staff are very friendly. THe food was magnificent and i recommen you go for the self catering plus as you got all drinks soft and alcoholic free of charge from 9am til midnight. Also the children could help themselves to ice creams and crisps all day. The resort itself if beautiful the rooms are very clean and the maid done an excellent job. It's just between the town of Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia With just a small bus journey that costs 1 euro 10 cents. I'd Definately recommen this to anyone who wants a relaxing break. =]

This has been the best holiday ever !!!!!!
The staff are very friendly and they try hard to talk english and it is very good.
The apartments are big and very clean and the best thing was the food in the resturante in the complex the buffet is great.
The entertainers are really good and the entertainment was ok but you can never be bored !
everything was just really clean and we hope to go back next year.
There is a town called pollencia which has a nice harbour and so does alcudia and the reps are really friendly too.
Overall this is the best place to be and we didnt want to go home.
10/10 all the way

We have just come back this afternoon from our holiday to Majorca. Party of 8 (6 Adults and 2 Children) The apartments were great very clean. good size and really friendly staff. We went self catering plus and it was great we booked this before we went but you could upgrade to self catering plus, half board or all inclusive. We have two small children (4 & 2) so the self catering plus was great for us. All local drinks were included in this (beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, water and tea, coffee, milkshakes and ice cream and crisps) A good idea is to get bottles of water from the bar the night before if you are going out and they will put blackcurrent or lime juice in the water for the kids or those of you who are not keen on plain water. The microwave cooks, grills and mircowaves which was great. The shop on site was ok sold most of the basics, however there are plenty of other supermarkets where you can find what you like. I wouldnt buy the cheap milk from the shops as it goes off really quick we bought cravendale 3 euros but it lasted 4 days, whereas the other went off. The hotel was really clean tidy and great the nightly entertainment was ok, better when it wasnt the reps and they had someone come in. Although they are all great and put there heart and soul in to it, but just not the greatest singers. I would definatly recommend this hotel, very family oriented and great kids ativities. They do have something different on every night and they also have people who do extra things a few nights a week like a bouncy castle (3 euros 20 mins), sweet shop pick and mix (not bad), and hena tatoos.
The pool was great just hard to get a sunbed, we used to go there about 4ish and by that time there were some dotted around that you could leave your towels on. We had a lovely meal in New Jules which is just over the road, not bad prices and really friendly staff. The local bus is great for trips into Alcudia and Pollensa and a not bad price 1.10 euros single, but any further than that i dont think is worth it we went to Can Picfont (beautiful) but took 20 mins to get there but 1hour 30 to get home as it was siesta time the driver kept stopping and having a ciggi or getting a drink from a bar while we sat on the bus!!!!
I would recommend a hire car for a couple of days the trips are good that First Choice have but are a bit on the expensive side, and it would mean that you could explore a bit more. Cala De Vincent is amazing and definatley worth a trip .
Overall a great holiday ****

We saved for 52 weeks for this holiday, and when we got there i got this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach , and it stayed there until we left. We are not picky, we want what we paid for, but alas that seemed about as likely as one of the "entertainers" singing in key (it was never going to happen).
Problem 1 and i have to say the biggest one is the SELFCATERING PLUS it cost £200.00 and is a major rip off, stale ready salted cheap variety pack crisps in a cone. Flat soda stream cola, sold as pepsi. And apparently sangria is not a local drink so is not included in the self catering plus, instead they serve you cheap wine, vodka, whiskey etc, you also have to cue sometime in quite long cues to be served by rude barmen.
The kIDS CLUB does not exist for anyone over the age of 8. So as you can imagine the kids aged 10 and 11 were very unhappy indeed.
ETERTAINMENT i would like to quote a guest from the week before us who said "are we about to be subjected to those people AGAIN"?
Yes we were subjected both weeks, they being the entertainers didnt even give the kids a chance to sing, it was just awful.
Port de Pollencia is lovely and plenty of good places to shop and eat, and all budgets
EG in town a can of Coke was 63cent in the hotel it was 2 EURO.
clenliness, NOT GOOD vomit on the back of the toilet for 3 days, same on the black out blind our whole holiday, sheets changed ONCE in 2 WEEKS and we had to ask for that.
There was a bin right outside our door that was always full to over flowing, the drains around the pool with missing covers we could go on and on.
We will return to Port De Plencia, it was lovely, but never to this hotel.

Fantastic Holiday!
Been there three times and want to go again. The evening entertainment is something that I didn't really enjoy as I felt it was focused too much on the children rather than adults when it is 'evening entertainment' it would be nice if the kids had a seperate evening entertainment and the adults/older children their own although some aspects of it WAS entertaining and i have to congratulate the entertainers for working so hard in all situations. The weather was fantastic only rained once,a lot difference to england! The staff were really friendly and the waiters/waitresses worked so hard and still had a smile on their faces at the end of the day, they really should get payed more! They all spoke very good english and also the cleaners worked very hard to clean all the rooms and done a very good job too!Although it may seem like Club del sol isn't in a very good position as it isn't near many shops or centre of the town it has a magnificant view that i wouldn't change! Also the walk to the town isn't too long and its a lovely way to burn off all those calories stocked up from the lovely food the chef prepares each day!I have to recommend 'Cafe Jokers' in the town of Puerto Pollensa, the staff are very friendly and food is excellent for such a low price! Its lovely to go there at nighttime where you can see all the lights around the bay and right to Alcudia! The only thing i would like to be changed more is the pond with fish in it! It was fairly dirty which isn't their fault as the staff have such busy days but it would be safer for children and nicer for the fish if it was cleaned more often. The Pools were good sized,we mostly stayed by the big pool as it was closer to the snack bar and had a lovely view and you can easily see your children from the sunbeds, sunbeds are a bit scarce to find unless you get up sharpish which seems like a bit of a nuicense.I dont suggest putting towels on sunbeds until 9am as the staff who look after the surroundings and gardens of Club Del Sol will remove the towels and hand them in to reception as the pools officially open at 9am.
Overall it was a fantastic holiday, suited for people of all ages!
I recommend it to anyone!

Hotel was ok,definitely not 4 star. The kids club was very good staffed by hard working cheerful girls.I was with my family (wife & 2 kids aged 3 & 4).Its at least a 35 minute walk to Puert Pollensa not a few minutes as suggested by 1st choice. There is no pavement until just before Puert Pollensa & please please please do not consider walking if you have kids its a very dangerous stretch.
Entertainment was fine, drinks at bar if you were self catering were extortionate (2 Euros) about £1.75 for a small glass of lemonade from a gun.
Only one supermarket on site & they should wear masks.£2.60 for a tin of heinz beans.
£1.75 for an ice lolly, they also collect all the inflatables from people that have left them to go home & resell them in the shop.Unbelievable.
Was situated opposite the reception & sleep at night was impossible due to coaches picking up & dropping off at all hours of the night,i realise they have to do this but they should turn their engines off.
Buses stop at 8pm (never paid the same fare twice) & its 7 Euros for a taxi back.
The kids loved it but as far as value for money was concerned it was a rip off wont be hurrying back.

Just returned from 7 nights at the Club Del Sol Apartments.
This was a fantastic place and I can certainly recommend going self catering plus. The actual hotel was very nice and clean and the spanish staff were very friendly. Our room was very nice also. The first choice reps were a bit miserable at times.
The hotel is quite a distance from the main resort if you like a walk then great but you can get a bus from right outside the hotel. Do be careful of the bus drivers they live on there brakes and you can't always get a seat. It costs around 1.10 euros per person so not to bad. Alcudia is nearby but very busy. The main resort is worth a visit, it has loads of shops, bars etc and a market.
The facilities at the hotel are very good. They have large pools and kids pools aswell which my 2 boys really enjoyed. They also have a five-a-side football pitch which is good. There is pool, table tennis and a games room right by the snack bar.
My family and I would definately go back again. You can upgrade to half board if you like which we did as it was well worth the money and the food was very nice with plenty of choice. EXCELLENT !!!!

What a fantastic resort! We are already planning on going back this year, if you want a holiday where you can relax by the pool and know that the kids are safe in the hands of the staff then there's no better place than here!! We hardly saw my 7yr old stepson Reece all week and iv never seen him cry and sulk so much as on the day that we left. The resort is very clean, the staff friendly and helpful at all times and the entertainment was none stop all day, the food was also very good to. The only fault I could give this resort was the bed wasnt very comfy but if thats the only fault you can find on holiday then your onto a winner. FANTASTIC!

I have just spent a very enjoyable week at the Club Del Sol Aparthotel in Puerto Pollensa.
We had a room, 1216, which was right above reception facing on to the main bar. I was a bit worried that we were going to be plagued by the noise from the bar but it was never an issue, probably helped by the fact that the entertainment was finished by about 11.30.
The room itself, a studio, was very clean and comfortable and I would have no hesitation in recommending this complex.
It really is ideal for families as there is an excellent pool area and other facilities. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We chose to go on a board only basis as there was just my wife and I and we like to get around the area but the food would be acceptable for families and would be a good way to keep your costs down as would the all inclusive drinks option which if you have not already booked is available on arrival.
If you prefer to eat out as we do, there are two excellent restaurants close by. Turn right when you leave the complex and within 3 minutes walk is the Can Cuarrassa which really is a top class restaurant. Compared with other places the menu of the day at 29 euros is expensive but the setting and the presentation of the food is worth it. Surprisingly they have a kid’s play area so they are obviously welcome.
Turn left and walk 10 minutes down the road and you will come to Tangoes Ca Vostra. Make sure you go as the atmosphere is fantastic and the owner is a real character who makes all feel very welcome. The MOTD is only 15 euro here but the food is terrific. Try the shoulder of lamb, crispy on the outside but moist and tender inside, There are loads of restaurants in Puerto Pollensa and you will be spoilt for choice with all price ranges covered.
In terms of location of the Club Del Sol in relation to the centre. It is a very pleasant way to start the morning walking into the centre for a coffee. Yes the road is busy but I did not feel at danger walking down it. I would have been more nervous with small children if they were not in a buggy or with a tight grip on their hand. It will take you 15 minutes to reach the start of the excellent sandy beach and your first coffee stop or 30 / 35 minutes to reach the roundabout in the centre. If you don’t fancy the walk, even though it is pleasant and you are in no hurry, the buses are very frequent, every 15 minutes, and cost 1.10 euros. It is also worth noting that 1.10 will also take you to Alcudia should you so wish.
Inca market. The biggest market in Mallorca is at Inca on Wednesdays. The tour operator will take you there and back for 23.50 euros. The local bus service will take you there and back for 6 euros!
The market is overrated, it is big but that just means there is even more rubbish than a small market. Stall after stall of clothes and leather goods. I would not go back and would have been gutted to have paid 23.50.
All in all, good accommodation, great restaurants and a very picturesque location. Go!!
