Chrysanthi Apartments

we had 2 weeks in these apartments in July 2010.Although the facilities were good ,air conditioning was ESSENTIAL as the sun turned the patio doors into a radiator and the sink (which had a water heater in it )also gave off heat . At 8 euro per day it turned our relatively cheap holiday into a quite expensive one . Sheets were only changed ONCE in the 2 weeks , towels were changed 3 times in 2 weeks . When we questioned if this was ideal in over 40 degree heat , WE WERE TOLD THAT WAS THE CONTRACT WITH OLYMPIC .At our departure we were required to vacate at 12 noon , and as our pick up for the flight wasn't until 1:30 early next morning, we asked about keeping the room longer. the price was 50 EURO .....yes 50 EURO .CRAZY .Needless to say we declined...then at the last minute they said 30 EURO. Well they lost out because we declined and made our own arrangements .What a shame they are SO GREEDY .We only saw owners when they wanted money for air con or money to keep room . Don't go , find better accommodation in Haraki as the resort is really nice .

cant thank chrysanthi enough,we had our wedding in st pauls this august and the family couldnt do enough to make our holiday/wedding the best ever nothing too much trouble and had my room decorated ready for me to get dressed in.a great big thankyou chrysanthi totally recomend this hotel for families etc ,only downfall it is five minutes walk to small bay beach,fifteen minutes to main beach very tough in 35+++ heat,apartments are basic but that isnt a problem you dont need to cook maria cooks lovely food which is very reasonably priced and apartments very clean.

had a fantastic time in pefkos staying at the chrysanthi apts, facilities were basic, but you had everything you needed, all the staff were very helpful, and did everything they could to ensure you had a good time. the bar and pool area were very comfortable with plenty of sunbeds. food and drink were reasonably priced. we would not hesitate to go back. the bars and restaurants in pefkos were all very good. a special mention to " buddies bar " and the " hellas ". but there were so many that we did not have time to visit. if anyone is considering going to rhodes, we would highly recommend pefkos and the chrysanthi apts

A great place for a relaxing holiday, but the brochure said 150m to the beach but instead it's 400m to the nearest beach and about 600m to the main beach.
The studios are small and basic but sheets and towels are changed frequently and the whole place is kept very clean. The doors and windows are secure, and if you don't want to pay for air-con you've at least got windows at the front and rear of the studio to catch any breeze blowing.
The owner + family are all very friendly and I had a lovely time here. The pool is open 8am-8pm, kept clean and is 15m long. The music from the pool bar gets switched off at 11.30pm, but it was generally quiet and they seem to prefer Pink Floyd and other 'soft rock' so it was fine for me.
If you're here for a beach holiday be warned - there's not much of it! The main beach is long but very narrow (check google earth).
I would probably come back here again.

Three adults booked 2 apartments from 30 September 2009 for one week hoping for a peaceful relaxing week away from work - this is just what we got. The accommodation was basic but very clean and worked well for us. It was great to sit on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. Whilst we were there we looked at the other apartments and could not see how you could sleep 3 people in one apartment. The only criticism (and it is a small one)is that there was no kettle in the room so you had to boil water in a small pan for your coffee/tea. You have the choice of 2 beaches - Haraki beach and Agathi beach both just a 20 minute stroll from the apartment. Haraki was a shelving pebble beach which had most of the tavernas on the seafront where we ate each evening and a few shops there. The supermarkets catered for most things and tavernas to suit all tastes. Agathi beach, where we spent the entire week, is a glorious sandy beach which gently shelves into the sea. Its great for snorkelling, plenty of sunbeds and there are three tavernas to choose from situated right on the beach which serve a variety of food. All the locals that we met were very friendly and could not do enough for us. If you want a shopping trip then Lindos is only 10 km away.

Stayed in Pefkos June this year, I found the Chrysanthi apartments brilliant, food excellent and wonderful people who will look after you always. So good that I am going back again in Oct 2009 and I can't wait.

This was our second holiday to the wonderful resort of Pefkos......and certainley not the last. Pefkos is a small tranqual resort ideally situated( South of the island) for exploring all of the island either by car, bus or boat, and yet as all the ammenaties you would need even if you decided never to leave the resort. Pefkos as dozens of fine restaurants, casual eating places, bars and clubs to meet everyones taste. Pefkos is a must for anyone who enjoys their Greek Holidays.
We stayed in the Crysanthi apartments situated slightly off the main road and very close to both of Pefkos's beaches. We were never nore than five minutes away from the shops, bars and restaurants or the beaches. The accomadation was basic, but extremely clean with maid services daily. The bathrooms and showers were top drawer and the rooms were secure, with decant locking dors and windows. The place had a very warm hospitable feeling to it, mainly due to the fact that the place was family run ..........and you coudn't wish to meet nicer people. Air con was available in all their rooms and was very reasonably priced. The pool was well maintained and was a good size. The bar was reasonably priced and had tv and pool tables in it. Music was played but switched off around 11.30 pm , so not disturb residents. Marks out of Ten 9.9999

had a fantastic time food exellent especially enigma meal for 4 with drinks around 60 euros,apartment very clean, vangelli and his family very nice people will do anything to accomodate your needs,central beach gets crowded later best to get there around 10.30 ish,2 sunbeds and a umbrella 8 euros

just got back from our 2 week holiday in pefkos. we stayed at the chrysanthi apartments and had fabulous holiday, it was our 2nd time in pefkos and have booked to goback again next year. the apartments are basic but very clean, maids clean endlessly every day!!! yanni and his son vangali are lovley and are only to willing to help in anyway. vangali runs the bar and reception. the pool area is spot on, meals cooked by maria are very nice. make sure you try the family bbq evening, we had a great evening. for ten euros each and 5 for kids there was plenty to eat and drink. yanni makes you feel like part of the family. his family actually live on site amongest the apartments, which i think is agood thing. its only a small complex but very freindly. you will want to go back.

Stayed at Crysanthi apartments July this year. Some of the rooms are very small and basic but ours was clean with a nice balcony over looking the pool.
There was a nice friendly atmosphere around the pool, very relaxed. Good location in the centre of Pefkos with access to all shops restaurants etc.
The air con and safety boxes were expensive and a two bedroomed apartment only had air con in one bedroom!
All the bars in Pefkos let you use their pools so it’s worth going on a pub/pool crawl to get your bearings.
The BBQ night at Crysanthi was poor, not much choice of food and Yanis Greek dancing was embarrassing.
Best restaurants were Smile and Terpsis. If you can find the beach caravan on the beach just outside Pefkos going out towards Lardos the Greek salads and iced coffees are just heavenly and quite cheap!
Overall a really great holiday.
