Best Western Europa Hotel

I write this in the knowledge that her has not been a bad review of the Hotel and I am not surprised. I am a seasoned traveller and this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. It is discrete friendly efficient and has one of the best kept and most beautiful grounds I have encountered in a Hotel. My husband and I stayed here for one evening at the end of April. This hotel caters to tour groups, and I knew it when I made the reservation, but it sounded like such a great place. And it is. This hotel runs like a well-oiled machine. There is a large, professional staff that is always there to help. It's clean, lovely inside, and has very good food. A delightful hotel with both indoor and outdoor dining, a swimming pool and helpful staff. The setting is incredible, with stunning views of the Arcadian mountains. It is close to the site of Ancient Olympia. The food and cooking are very good too. Rooms are clean, attractive and peaceful.

On the recommendation of Trip Advisor we stayed at the Best Western in Olympia for 2 nights and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was very large with a pool view. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. After a long day looking around the museum and site it was lovely to come back for a swim and delicious meal and watch the sunset. A really first class experience.

Great hotel! Absolutely loved it! My room was HUGE!!! It had two twin beds and a living room (apparently all rooms have a seperate living room). The bathroom was very big too and very clean! It's in the hills of Olympia in a residential neighborhood and walking to town is out of the question; however, it's very close to ancient Olympia archaeological site. The staff was very helpful and the food was very very good. If you're going to be in Olympia then stay here!!!

I stayed here in March 2006 with a 30 person group of people on a study abroad tour. We were only in town for 2 nights but we all wished we could have spent the entire trip in this hotel. It was immaculate, beautifully designed, the staff was SO friendly, and the location is great. It is only a 10 minute drive to the Olympic site. Breakfast in the morning was AMAZING. This is a gem of a hotel in the otherwise smudged crown of reasonably priced hotels in Greece. Situated atop a mountain/hill barely 1/2 km from the entrance to the Olympic site, it has a beautiful view from its generous and private balconies. Some rooms overlook the hotel's own garden, in which they grow abundant supplies of various vegetables and fruits to stock their breakfast buffet and dinner menus. This is a 5 star hotel all the way. After driving around Greece and staying at a couple of questionable places, this was a welcome change. The room was absolutely huge, especially by European standards. It had a separate sitting room just inside the balcony which had a great view of the pool and hillside. Granted, I was there in the off-season (April 20th), but got in here for a song. We didn't have reservations and just drove into town browsing for a decent place to stay for one night. We wanted to spend the greater part of our holiday in the Olympia area, and chose this hotel because of its good reviews. From the moment we arrived, we did not regret our decision! This is a truly excellent hotel, in a wonderful location, up on the hillside above Olympia, with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and valleys of this truly beautiful part of the world. The Hotel Europa is a FINE establishment--beautiful grounds, well appointed rooms, big bathrooms, nice balconies and a huge breakfast buffet. I generally wouldn't recommend staying in Olympia for more than a night if needed--there is nothing other than the ruins worth seeing here--but if you have to, this is the hotel to stay at. Be warned however, that you either need a car or very sturdy walking shoes as the hotel is about 1/2 mile up the most veritcal road I have hiked (and I hike regularly on advanced trails).
