Radisson SAS Hotel

A lovely modern hotel situated in a great location for the city centre. Very comfortable rooms and great bathroom. Nice public areas as well. Staff Very pleasant and helpful.

We (a family of 5) stayed at the Radisson for 2 nights last week. The hotel has a very modern feel to it, even though it has been built onto an old house. It is by no means in the centre of Cork - it is in a place called 'Littleisland'. Unfortunetly, this hotel did not meet the standards we have come to expect from this hotel chain. Our suite was modern and spacious with the added delight of an outdoor hot tub. Unfortunetly this was not working and staff seemed to differ in opinion as to wheather it ever worked. I stayed here for two nights in March 2006, to attend some meetings set up at the hotel. The location is not perfect (nothing much else next to the hotel), but the centre of Cork is a 5 minute taxi journey. The hotel is modern and stylish (I heard it is only around two years old). Whilst I did not use the spa & gym, some colleagues did and absolutely raved about it. The restaurant and bar are comfortable and the food good. The bedrooms have great (huge) comfortable beds.
