The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, if a little lethargic (you are in Greece after all). The location is excellent if being close to town and busy beaches are your bag! St George beach is best avoided unless you are related to a Sardine. Naxos Town is wonderful however and the hotel is well located within easy walking distance.
Alkyoni rooms are average size for Greece, but the bathroom that we had was very small (and we're not porkers). They were however kept very clean.
As the other respondant has noted, 'deckchairs' are provided around the pool (clean), NOT sunloungers, which is OK if you want to tan your front and not your back!
The breakfast is very basic (continental style) and occasionally the bread was stale and the milk sour.
If you like a quiet laid back hotel to use as your base and not your focus, then this hotel may suit your needs. And, with the negatives taken into consideration, we still had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday!
