Vencia Hotel

Can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. The rooms were recently redone and we were also pleased that we got a sea facing room as promised by Stella during our email correspondence. The location is perfect, just far enough away from the buzz of the town, but close enough to walk to in 5-10 min. And the views.........we have so many amazing pics of the glorious sunsets as the pool area & also our room's balcony faced almost due west. Vencia Hotel is a new hotel with modern facilities. The exterior is traditional with a fantastic pool and views over Mykonos Town. The hotel is not right in the town which means it is a bit quieter but is only a 5 minute walk into town to some great restaurants, bars and shopping. Walking back up is probably 10 minutes but it helps to walk after a huge Greek feast!! The rooms have new and modern beds and bathroom with Greek TV and a small fridge. Loved this Hotel. This Family run hotel was clean, and the staff was beyond helpful. Truly the friendliest hotel I have stayed in! Our room (Room 16) did not have a view and was a little small for 2 people, but if you are like me, you don't want to spend too much time in the room anyway. Pool is amazing here as well! I would highly recommend this place to anyone, based on the service alone! Beautiful views of the ocean and easy to get to the City Center. Book it!

Can't say enough about the charm of this beauty. The hotel has been fully renovated, bathrooms are modern and cool with vessel sinks and glass tile! Rooms are spacious and we had an ocean view The views are breathtaking and the staff is courteous and at your service. We were booked elsewhere and changed to the Vencia after an overbooking and were happy for that occurrence. My husband and I just finished our trip in Greece. We've been to 4 hotels in various places in Greece, and I have to say Vencia is the best of all and provided exactly what I was looking for. I booked the room directly with the hotel by email. Stella is very efficient in responses. And I guess I was offered the best room in hotel, with an excellent view overlooking the lovely pool and the town and then the sea. To watch the sky full of stars in a night breeze with your beloved in your private balcony is really a pleasant experience.... more

We had a fantastic time at this family run hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and our beautiful room must have had the best view in Mykonos. The infinity pool is a decent size and deep enough to dive into. As mentioned by everyone it is a 5-10 minute walk down to Mykonos town centre. Excellent value for money.

No, it is not too far to walk, and yes, it is a great place! They offer free pickup from ferries - really handy since ours arrived close to midnight (a number of other hotels charge 25 euros, which borders on criminal since the new port is but 4km away). We were upgraded to a suite - spacious, clean, and really nice hardware (showerhead, lightings etc), considering it is really inexpensive for Mykonos. The infinity pool and views were gorgeous too. Stayed for 2 nights. The service was excellent. I was upgraded to the best suite(I guess as my room was in the center of the hotel with the biggest balcony). The room is beautifully decorated, very spacious, probably at least twice of the size of a normal room. So my wife and I can stay in the room tor the whole day without leaving the room. The view is excellent, although it's a little climb from the town. The owner offered me port pickup and delivery so no problem with the location. My nephew and I spent 4 nights at the Vencia. We were originally given a back room, but asked for a room with a view of the pool. It was on the ground floor and opened onto a lovely patio, where we sat each evening enjoying the moon and the beautiful views down to the harbour and across the bay. Breakfast delicious (Greek yogurt - yum!) but the coffee always a little cold. Room small but comfortable - patio made up for size. The walk back from town is formidable - uphill, uphill, all the way and exhausting in the heat.

We stayed at the Vencia for four nights and had a terrific stay. The room was quite comfortable and the amenities were just wonderful. Located above Mykonos town directly in line with the famous windmills, each day started with a delicious breakfast on the terrace overlooking the town and the sea. The staff were extremely accomodating and helpful. The hotel location was perfect for walking down into Mykonos town (but be prepared for the walk back up!).
