Manoulas Beach Hotel

Go with a relaxed attitude and you'll have a great time! Rooms are large and clean. We asked for one with relatively few stairs and were given choices. Manager was incredibly helpful with our non-hotel-related problems (lost luggage, etc.) . Breakfast is lovely. Restaurant at the beach is fine. Beach is not as rocky as most, but a pair of shoes you can wear into the water (flip-flops come off in the water) is welcome at almost all beaches in Greece. My boyfriend and I just came back from a 6 night stay at the Manoulas resort and we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff were very nice and welcoming, escorting us to our room, showing us the facilities and basically taking care of anything we needed! We ate at the hotel restaurant one night, and while it was a little more expensive than the local tavernas, it was still reasonably priced (everything is expensive in Mykonos) and the food & service was excellent. When we first arrived, we were placed in a room that was really terrible. Dirty (bugs), ugly and generally grey - with a great view (but I think most of the rooms have a great view). Then we complained (typical tourists) and were moved to a much nicer, cleaner, brighter room at no extra charge - so complaining worked. The pool was beautiful, as were the grounds. The breakfasts were pretty terrible - for one day it would be fine - but for four? No one would want to eat that for four days. We found the location a little too out... more

Excellent hotel. Pleasant staff. Great on site restaurant with similar prices to mykonos town. Breakfast is included and there is plenty of food. Easy to get town with a frequent bus that passes in front of the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. The hotel attracts a slightly older crowd, primarily families and couples. Singles/partiers stay away!
