Damianos Hotel

The hotel is near the airport and the center of Mykonos, very easy to reach everywhere. The room was simple, but good and clean. The hotel itself has a beautiful area with the pool and the jacuzzi, and a beautiful view of the town and the sunset! The staff is very very kind and helpful. The breakfast was simple, but also nice, and it was there that I ate the best greek yogurt in Greece, rs!

I went to Mykonos in August 09 with 2 girlfriends. Originally we had found a cute hotel on the south side of the island, but after being warned by others who had been to mykonos before, if you don't plan on renting some form of transportation, you are much better off being close to town and walking because cabs are not pletiful on the island. Thus, we changed our hotel to instead stay at Damianos and I'm so glad we did. It was about a 5-10 min walk to town...the uphill part is tough so not ideal for those who are perhaps older or have... more

Damianos hotel has very good location, but if you want to return and it is dark (and you are a "girl company" you may have a problem if you do not go from the main street because it is very dark from the path. Thanasis picked us from and to the port. The room was clean enough but hasn't view... Maybe you must tell it if you want it so much. Breakfast was ok but not included in the price and we didn't know that! Anyway ,it depends on luck what you will see. (everywhere) I am travel agent and I know very well the situation.

My wife and I arrived at Mykonos without making reservations. Met the owner at the harbor, negotiated a great price and she then drove us to the hotel. We got a nice, but a little small room, close to the balcony overlooking the city below. We chose not to pay for the breakfast which was basic. Instead we found some nice restaurants down by the harbor. We will definitely book here again when/if we go back to Mykonos.

Just got back from 11 day stay in Damianos Hotel. We had a great time here. Staff were all so nice, we got a bottle of wine brought to our room when we arrived. The rooms were a bit on the small side, but you're in Mykonos, so you'll be outdoors most of the time!! Cleaners came around each morning, new towels etc... The pool was great and they have a nice jacuzzi too...with cool sounds being played throughout the day... The views are amazing at sunset.. The only drawback is the hill on the way up to hotel from Mykonos... more

Nice hotel, close to the city center of mykonos, renovated, aestheticly great and wireless free internet,the view from the hotel is awesome.

Be warned the pics what you see for the rooms is only 20% of the rooms....The rest are like prison cells with lumpy beds, no room to move and the smallest bathroom I have ever experienced on my travels and I have stayed in a lot of hotels and backpackers around Europe!..One room they showed us was below ground with no windows underneath the pool and old grey with Old furnishings. The pool was nice but didn’t use it as just did not want to be around the hotel. Breakfast is poor and the walk from Mykonos Centre is a real mission....you can... more

This family run hotel is quite excellent to say the least, there are many more expensive hotels in mykonos but this has a excellent location good rooms and well equipped. The NEW swimming pool area is also a dream way to relax with very comfortable sun loungers and also a whirlpool. Its also possible to have lunch delervered to your sun lounger!! This place is high above Mykonos town and immaculate. The common area and the pool area is divine. Unfortunately it was too cool to swim but in summer it woud be magical. It is a bit of a hike into Mykonos town, about 500 metres straight down! This of course meant 500 metres straight up for the trek back!! Probably a good thing as the food and wine of Mykonos is delicious. The hosts were very friendly.
