We stayed for 7 nights in Sep 07. The hotel is located in a central part of Portimao, very close to the water front, banks and bus routes. Some great places to eat in the surrounding area.
Good points: central location, near water front.
Negative points: Very difficult to find on 1st night due to the hotel signs being navy blue in colour; poor breakfast, 1970's room (with musty smell from the 70's); no car parking at hotel or on the surround roads (we had to pay for a weekly parking space at the local car park); tv in room didn't work.
We would not use the hotel during future visits.
