Apts fine, cleaned / fresh linen every day, Budget travel rep/staff in reception very good, couldn't fault them, but won't be returning to Pria da Rocha, didn't like it there,Alvore / Zoomarine well worth a visit, again No problems with the Apts/staff, just me.....not keen on the area!

Stayed in Club Amarilis in September for two weeks, could find no fault with apartments.
Staff very friendly and helpful, apartments spotless and cleaned every day, regular change of bed linen.
Apartments in ideal location just away from the main strip.
If going to Praia Da Rocha again, these are the apartments we'll be staying in.
Could recommend them to anyone.

Large room was ready on arrival and spotless, cleaned every day.
We didn't have to rent a tv or remote like other hotels.
Staff were extremely friendly and as helpfull as possible.
Well situated at the top of main prominade.
only stayed 1 week with girlfriend but wished it was longer.
Resort is lovely. nicest beach i've ever seen. lots to do. A must is zoo marine and although its about 120Euro swimming with dolphins is well worth it.
Dont bring much in your suitcase just buy cheap over there especially in the gypsy market where you can haggle for amazing deals.
Food seemed to be excellent everywhere, keep an eye on prices. We were eating a beautiful and satisfying 2 course meal for about 7euro each. Just be careful as they try to charge you for extra bread and cheese and stuff that they put on every table. Tell the waiter you dont want it and if it appears on your bill he gets no tip.
Daly's Irish bar was amazing. Tried a lot of bars but for all round entertainment Daly's was the clear winner and the staff were just great craic.
Cant wait to go back to Portugal and i've already recommended Praia da Rocha and Club Amarilis to all my friends.
