We (me and my girlfriend) stayed at Suico Atlantico for four days in May 2007. I've got to specify that we don't insist on things like Jacuzzis, room service, mini bars, gourmet meals, designer interiors, satellite TV, blah-blah. If you do, Suico Atlantico won't satisfy your needs.
1. It was among the cheapest ones in this area, provided that we were looking for a room with an en-suite bathroom.
2. Staff were extremely helpful and nice.
3. Our room has been cleaned every single day, even the bed has been made up which I don't insist on coz I don't do it myself at home :-)
4. It was pretty spacious and fresh, and although cheaply furnished it wasn't shabby or uncomfortable.
5. Breakfast was the simplest possible but still enough for someone who just wants to have a few morsels and sips before starting exploring this exciting city. Oh, and as far as I remember it finished at 9:30.
6. As I already said the location is perfect.
So I honestly recommend this hotel to anyone who isn't after some posh accommodation or some airs and graces and who just needs basic comfort and relaxation.
