We booked the Clarion Suites for our first holiday abroad with our 12 month old son in October 2006. We wanted to be able to have a meal and enjoy our evening after he had gone to bed, so the one bedroom apartment with a kitchenette was ideal.
We found the accommodation unexpectedly spacious, and spotlessly clean, and for those of you who may be interested, it was fairly baby friendly too!
We really cannot fault the Clarion Suites - the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was more central than we had been led to believe, although it was in a quiet street. We would thoroughly recommend a stay to anyone wanting a home from home, particularly families.
If we had to find one criticism of our accommodation it would be the lack of a view! ...Oh and the cobbled streets of Lisbon which were probably laid before the mass-manufacture of cheap strollers!
