We came back from Santa Fé not that long ago and found it a very good hotel.

The Rooms were very good standard, where we had 2 double beds a TV with 2 Channels (Disney Channel, and BBC World News) in english. The bathroom had a bath and shower.

We had towels provided but found them to be small so not very good for drying if your big!

The main hotel lobby had a checkin area, and a separate area for checkout and information.

It had a large restaurant and bar area. For the kids it also has an Arcade and there is also a shop.

It features 3 internet terminals but it is priced at €0,15 per minute!

They also had Characters visiting the hotel daily next to the information desk.

You had to checkout the hotel by 11am but they do have a free baggage area where you can store your bags if your flight is not until later at night.

We don't relay have any complaints about the hotel at all apart from the breakfast which we found very basic (continental) and found nothing we liked but there is restaurants you can eat in Disney Village for your Breakfast but you would have to pay for this.

I went with my boyfriend in february this year for 3 days and 4 nights. Including flights from manchester, bed & breakfast and a 5 day park pass it came to £500ish between us. The hotel was worth the money. It was always clean, good facilities. Very friendly staff, especially at breakfast. Theres sooooo much choice at breakfast. Theres also the chance to have your photo taken with minnie or mickey (i had both plus several others at the themepark). We may be 2 19yr olds but we're big kids! Theres also an arcade. The only downside of this hotel is that it is a 20min walk to the parks and in winter this is 20mins too much. FREEZING!

The Disney Park is amazing! So many characters, so many rides and food shops including a very large mcdonalds! Plenty of sovernier shops. Catch the disney parade at 4oclock. Its well worth it. The walt disney studios has a stunt show on twice a day which is a must see. It also has the Aerosmith rock n roller coaster. Went on it again and again and again! Love it!

Food can be a bit pricey but in all fairness it is Disneyland, not Blackpool. There is a trainstation right near the park which makes it easy access into Paris. Id definately suggest spending a day in Paris (tho maybe not for kids). We wen up the eiffel tower (tho it was a 2hr wait 2 go up, then an 1 wait 2 come down and its ice cold up there!). We went in the Lourve and saw the Mona Lisa and Venus DeMilo, Arc de Triompe, champs elysa'. Everything is on the river banks (tho it is around a 2hr treck to the eiffel tower) so you cant get lost!

I first went Disneyland with my college in January 2007 (stayed in cheyanne. Fun but also a 20min walk). I loved it so much that i went bk with my boyfriend for valentines day this year. And he loved it so much that we ar goin back this november (twice in 1yr!). We are staying in Hotel new york and are just in time for the christmas parade! Cant wait!

3 times in less than 2yrs? Id say Disneyland Paris is a must for any age

We have just returned from a 4 days break at Disney.

Our break away didn't go as planned.......

On our arival our son needed fast medical attention. He developed Appendicitis whilst we were traveling.

I have to say that the staff at the Santa Fe couldn't do enough for us. As soon as we checked in they arranged for swift medical attention. Our son was being whisked away to hospital within half an hour. We were looked after by the hotel manager who had excellent english and made sure that we had everything we needed.

Our stay need to be extended and they did their best to accomodate us.

Breakfast is hectic and one morning the queues were so long and we wanted to get back to our son quickly. The hotel staff whisked us through the queue to ensure there were no delays in reaching our son. This was very mcuh appreciated as you can imagine it was stressfull enough being away from our son without panicing about delays.

Most of my time was spent at the hospital but the one night I swapped the hospital chair for a bed at the Santa Fe with my husband was great. The beds were comfortable, the room clean and the bathroom spotless.

All in all not the weekend we had planned but that said I feel the service and help we received from all at the hotel was outstanding.

I would highly recommend this hotel and we give it 10/10.

I know this review is about the hotel and not the park, I would however like to mention.... My husband ventured into the parks with our other children and found it expensive and people not considerate. Is it just us that queue and wait patiently??? People do seem to be out for themslves. The littles ones don't get a chance to see things as the 'big people' get in the way!!!

We ve just got back from disneyland paris and overall we had a great time. We stayed in the Santa fe hotel and whilst it was a bit run down it was still clean and had a great power shower! The shuttle bus takes you to the parks, but be warned they get very busy and people can be rude and push you out the way.

The parks were great and the kids loved it. Use the baby switch if you can, just ask for a ticket at the entrance to each ride. Fast pass is also a good idea. The queues were very long at certain times during the day so try and get on the big rides as early as you can or when the parades / shows are on.

One big let down for our holiday was just how rude some people were. They push in front of you and have no concept of forming a queue. The only solution is to be rude back. The food is also expensive.

Whilst we really enjoyed ourselves i don t think we would return. For the money you spend you could go to Florida for a week and enjoy some friendly American hospitality. Plus you have lots of parks to choose from, hence fewer queues.

Go once to Paris for the experience just be prepared for a bad attitude from some people.

We arrived at hotel with ease, even though we had young children nothing was stressful. Booking in was easy and a disney character was at the reception so the kids were delighted. The rooms were a nice size, and clean and tidy. The breakfast was nice and you can have as much as you want. The shuttle was no problem you only had to wait 5 min max. If you did not want to wait its a little walk which passes a river which was very pleasant. It was a great holiday, the staff at the hotel and parks, all went the extra mile and made it special. I loved it, and are in the process of booking nexts years.

Just come back from a weekend holiday at Santa Fe. I like you read all the reviews and was very skeptical about the hotel as it had good and bad reviews. When we arrived we had no problems what so ever the check in was very easy and the staff friendly. Our room was very clean and had no complaints. We didn't stay at the hotel for breakfast as we booked a character breakfast for our son, this I would highly recommend as he and us really enjoyed it and he got lots of pictures and autographs (which is what children look forward to). There was no pushing whilst getting the breakfast, very well organised.

The shuttle bus can be a bit of a problem, everybody wants to get on all at the same time and most of the time you have to stand.

We didn't get fast passes with our accommodation I would recommend though that you get them (even if you have to pay extra) as we didn't get on most of the rides as there was an hour wait and with a young child I wasn't (although some are) prepared to wait, we didn't mind waiting half an hour, I would certainly get one next time as you can just walk to the front of the queue.

I would also recommend going to Buffallo Bill Wild West Show (although book through your travel agent as it will be cheaper, if you book at Disney it is 49euro each for adults and 39euro each for children), we paid £90.00 for 2 adults and 1 child and it was well worth it, you got entertained whilst waiting to be seated, again this was very well orgainsed, the children were given their meals first then you got yours, it was all very nice, you also got free beer, or coke the whole time you were there approx one and half hours, they just keep coming around filling you up.

The only downside that I could find was that there was no pharmacy at Disney, which could be a bit of a problem if you have young children, I needed plasters and eventually found some in a news agents but they were very expensive. Also if you take a mobile phone make sure you have enough credit on as trying to top up is a nightmare

I would certainly go back again and would definitely stay at the Santa Fe as I said we had no problems and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Myself and my partner went to DisneyLand Paris as i had never been and he wanted to show me what it was all about..............

let me tell you i loved it.. i didnt pick my jaw up from the floor for about 2days....

when we first arrived at the santa fe i will admit i thought it looked run down but from the moment we steped inside to the moment we left i loved the whole disney experience......

Yes do believe it when people say that everyone pushes and shoves because they do....... but persistance will pay off when looking for your favourite character and i have the photos to prove it.

We found that taking advantage of the extra magic hours for hotel residents was fantastic as we used this oppertunity to go on the rides as it avoided all the queues............ the tower of terror is a must by the way... :)

overall we loved it and hadnt one bad thing to say although i will say have enough cash with you as it is not cheap....

Im heading back in September with my Mother and little cousin and i cant wait.......

Disney isnt just for kids........... It brings the child out in everyone........

And i promise.... YOU'LL LOVE IT

It was our first time at Disneyland Paris (me, my wife and our 6 year old son) and we chose to stay at the Santa Fe Hotel. I have nothing to complain about this Hotel and we enjoyed our 5 day stay as it served what we expected: 2 double -bed clean room and bathroom and towels changed every day, a very good continental buffet breakfast and very helpful multi-lingual staff. It was all we expected as we went for breakfast at 7.00. off to the parks at 8.00 and we didn't return before 23.30 / 00.00!

When I'm on holiday, since I intend to go around as much as possible all I want from a Hotel is an up to standard clean room/bathroom, good breakfast and a helpful staff and the Santa Fe matches all this.

We will not hesitate to choose this Hotel again. Thanks to the Santa Fe Hotel staff!

Having read some reviews of Disney and the Santa Fe I felt compelled to add my own..

I am just back froma week at the SF with my kids who are 11 and 14.

I flew with Easyjet from Edinburgh to CDG booked last November £60 each, cost £30 each way from CDG to Disney in a private 8 seater minibus and £945 for bed and breakfast for 3 people which included free entry into both parks for a week.

Given that I knew food was expensive I took out the cheapest meal plans for a week which cost £224.00 which enabled us to eat at the SF, Cheyenne and 7 restaurants within the park. These included Annettes Diner, Agrabah Cafe, Plaza Gardens. Most were eat all you can buffets which were absolutely fine. Plaza Gardens was the best by far, excellent choice of food.

Now the SF is the cheapest Disney hotel..a run down council estate..I dont think..it was probably on a level with a Holiday Inn Express or a Travelodge..but given that we only spent about a couple of hours a day there its not that imortant. Clean beds, clean bathroom..ok could do with a wee spruce up, but so could lots of hotels....

Breakfast was busy..the time slots you get mean nothing, you can eat anytime..yes if you get streetwise, you can dodge the queue by going in the exit..no one will know.

Continental fayre and plenty of it.

Food in Disney is expensive hence the reason why I took out a meal plan, at a buffet it would have cost 50 Euros every time and thats without any other drinks. At a non buffet restaurant expect to pay say 70 Euros for dinner. Drinks are expensive as well but what do you expect, its a captive audience if you dont know that before you go you havent done your homework.

Outside the SF is an Esso petrol station..we bought lunch there every day and took it into the park at a cost of 10 Euros..do your homework and you can save money.

Dont get the shuttle..walk..its a nice walk along the river and through Disney Village

The park is busy but again if you plan you can enjoy it to the full....its busy all the time but especially between 2 and 6, therefore we went back to the hotel from about 3 until 6 and came out again..it is simply too tiring to walk about every day. Luckily we didnt need to do the kids rides as mine are older but thats where the longest queues were.

Yes there arent many rides open between 8 and 10 apart from Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear so it kind of defeats the purpose of opening early.

One evening we were able to get on the Rock and Roller Coaster four times on the trot between half 7 and half 8..just be prepared to go when other folk are going home. All in all in the week we were on the Rock and Roller 15 times, Thunder Mountain 13, Space Mountain 4 and Indiana 4. Tower of Terror once but only because my 11 year old didnt like it.

The place is spotless and we found all of the staff to be friendly...French and Spanish in particular have no concept of queing or direction...just stick your arms out in front of them to stop them..they get quite taken aback by it but it works....

A week is too long but we went to Paris one day and shopping another..two days isnt enough as you will have to stay at the parks all day which involves queueing with no respite..four days is perfect.

My week cost me £1650 including spending money..you either choose to spend in Disney or not..we chose not to..

Best holiday in ages, cant fault it at all..exciting..magical...tiring..great fun....cant believe people would berate Disney....one of the busiest theme parks in the world..cant expect it all to yourself can you?

Go..enjoy

When we arrived at the Hotel Santa Fe it looked very old and run down on the outside. It looked a little like a council estate. But once we reached the main reception and went in the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel welcome and the staff spoke several languages. They gave us a map to our room and explained the breakfast system.

When we arrived at our room we found that we had a door connecting our room to the one next door and we could also hear kids running about up stairs. I went to ask if we could change hotel or to a room more quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. They phoned around all other hotels and gave me an upgrade price. It was a very expensive option so we just moved room to another block without a joining door. The room was average size with en-suite, tv, ceiling fan,. It was was very clean but very warm.

Breakfast was cold meats, rolls, french pastries, cereals, hotdrinks and orange juice. When you arrive you are given diffent times of your choice to attend breakfast every morning between 0700 and 1030. The ques for the earlier times are awful. Parents and children were queing out of the door! We went at 1000 and it was a bit more quieter.

On the 3rd day of our stay it was about 85 degrees. When we got back to our hotel room we found that our whole block had no electricity. No fan, no lights, no tv and no communication from the hotel! We went to reception and there was a heard of people around the 1 memeber of staff at the information desk who couldnt give us any information about when the electric would be back on. It was very very hot in the room anyway, let alone without the ceiling fan! The electric eventually came on about 4 hours later.

There was a bright yellow shuttle bus that took us from the hotel to the disney parks every 12 minutes. Be warned....they are very very packed out and everyone just rushes to get onto them. It doesnt matter that you were there first....people just push on. Its about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the parks. We walked most days and got the bus back, it was just easier.

Ok starting with food and drink at Disney Village. Expect to pay about 5 euros more on everything. Everywhere we went to eat, drink and snack we paid an absolute fortune. For example: The Rainforest Cafe.. I had a burger and chips, my girlfriend had Fajitas.... 1 cocktail each, 2 diet cokes and a desert to share came to 86 euros. Thats about 75-80 pounds. Another day we had a Cheese Panini each for lunch with 2 bottles of Fanta for 25 Euros, about 20 pounds!! Bottles of drink were about 2 pounds each. We felt very ripped off and felt very sorry for the families there as they had to obviously feed their children at insane prices. A pint of beer at the Hotel and the Disney Village was on average 6.50 euros. Thats about 5.50 pounds!! A joke. A glass of Rose wine was about 4 euros. About 3 pounds.

The Disney parks..ques..ques..ques..technical problems..closed rides..ques..ques..technical problems..closed rides..what more do I need to say?! over 90 minutes wait times on all the main rides. There was technical problems on all rides, sometimes after we had been waiting over an hour in the sun..To top it off there was Labour Movement in the park...this basically was the staff srtiking for 3 days of the 5 we were there. This basically ment that rides were not opened on time and they had a shortage of staff most days so they couldnt open all rides at once. So it obviously made the ques on the open rides even longer.

There are no disney staff monitoring the ques and we found that there was a hell of a lot of people that que jumped past everyone and wouldnt even get challenged.

Again drinks and food in the park was even more expensive than the already expensive Disney Village and Hotels.

Part of staying in a Disney hotel ment you could get into DisneyLand 2 hours before the public from 0800 to 1000 be warned. Disney Studios does not open early, as we found out, and also most rides are not open this early in disney land so it defeats the object of getting up early in the rush.

By the 3rd day we were soooo fed up with queing and walking that we took a train into Paris and done a bus tour which was excellent although it was the only day that it rained all day. Paris was about 40 minutes on the RER train line A straight from Disney Land.

In all, a poor place to go unless you dont mind walking miles and miles everday, you have a huge bank balance and dont mind waiting over an hour per ride on a good day.

IN MY EXPERIENCE OF STAYING IN THE SANTA FE I FOUND IT TO BE SPOTLESS WE HAD OUR ROOM CLEANED EVERY DAY AND CLEAN TOWELS SUPPLIED. WE WENT TO THE HOTEL FOR A BUFFET AND FOUND IT WAS WELL ORGANISED AND FOOD PLENTY. WE ALSO FOUND THE STAFF TO BE VERY HELPFULL THE ONLY FAULT WAS THE SUFFLE AS PEOPLE DO NOT SEEM TO KNOW HOW TO LINE PROPERLY AS THIS WAS TO DO WITH CERTAIN PEOPLE I SAID IT WOULD NOT BE FAIR TO MARK DOWN THE HOTEL BECAUSE OF THIS. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN DISNEYLAND AND WE WERE PLEASED WITH OUR STAY AND THE DISNEYLAND PARKS WERE BRILLIANT I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND PEOPLE GO TO DISNEYLAND ON THEIR HOLIDAYS.

When we arrived at the Santa Fe hotel, there wasn't much of a wait and we were checked in by very friendly hotel staff and shown where our room was quickly and efficiently. Our room was small, but clean and had everything you could of needed. We had bought our own travel kettle (us british can't be without our tea!) and they had provided a few paper cups in the room with an assorment of tea, coffee, sugar and milk (if you run out of these things you can always steal them from the buffet style breakfast and take them back to your room!). The bathroom was clean and tidy, and towels and bed sheets were changed daily, and the power shower was brilliant! The only downside was that the only english channels on the tv were the Disney channel (great, but sends you insane after a while because of the repeats and the Jonas brothers playing every 2 minutes!!) and this irritating woman talking about the different things to do whilst you're in the park, but then to be honest you don't really watch that much tv anyways, thats not why you're there is it! The breakfasts were very good and in a buffet style, and had croissants, bread (with a toaster, wich can cause a bit of a fight as some people only put 2 bits in when it can fit 6!), cereal and ham with rolls, we chose 7am breakfast but you can choose later slots, however we found this time best to avoid the long lines of people, and to be honest we never turned up on time, and nothing was ever said.

The shuttle to the park from the hotel was a different matter, we used it for the first 2 days of our stay, just to get our bearings but it was a real fight to get on, people physically push you out of the way to get on the bus and some of them even stood in the doorway of the bus so they couldn't close, and then you have to stand up on a very unsteady bus whilst loads of people (some of who had very bad body odour) slammed into you on every turn, and no one had any manners at all! You may aswel walk to the park, it takes about 5-10 minutes and is a very nice walk past a river with ducks in (you can steal bread from breakfast and feed them and the giant fish that also live in the river).

The same is to be said when waiting to get signatures off characters, you can be waiting very politely and then a pushy mother will shove her child infront of you without any apology or explanation, we even got shouted at by a man who had pushed infront of us when we got our book signed by Aladin first, he then decided to stick his fingers up behind my friends head whilst she was having her photo taken with Aladin and ruined our picture.

The parades are also the same story we waiting on the pavement an hour and 15 minutes before it started, and still we had people push infront, shove us out of the way and one woman put her pram on my foot, which hurt quite badly! A word of advice, be rude! Everyone else is being rude, so just push and shove your way around, it seems to be the only way to get anything in this place! That was the one thing that spoiled our holiday, the rest of it was brilliant, the rides were amazing, the shows fantastic, and all the staff were happy and helpful. We would deffinitely go back, and stay at Santa Fe again, without question! When we got home we had Disney withdrawl! It was a brilliant holiday, just a shame about the lack of manners!

ALSO BUFFALO BILLS IS A MUST SEE!!!
