we arrived as a party of 3, husband 6 year old son and myself, we had a fantastic holiday here, no rain for 2 weeks and brilliant sunshine. chalet was fantastic 2 twin beds and a bunk bed, verandah was really big with a clothes airer. we found the staff to be great and friendly. food was good. entertainment was brilliant every night and they really catered for kids. kids club twice a day and twice a week they entertain the kids in the entertainment hall (friday and sunday night). we enjoyed the holdiay so much that we have booked for this year and 7 of our family are coming with us, so look out bulgaria here we come. can't wait

We spent two weeks all inclusive at Elenite (2 adults and 1 child) and had an excellent break!
The bus journey from the airport was rather worrying as other holiday makers were getting off at seemingly "plush hotels" and on we carried as we were the last drop off. By the time we were travelling past mile after mile of building sites (development) we wondered what an earth we had let ourselves in for.
However when we arrived at Elenite, we were shown to our room, which was clean, tidy and comfortable. We had terrible weather for the first couple of days, but the staff were friendly and tried to help keep everyone’s spirits up.
The food was fantastic, and the only people that were complaining about it looked like they had never eaten a vegetable in their lives! Meze and salad were in abundance as well as hot dishes, bless them they even tried to cater for the lardy British diet of Chips Chips Nuggets and more chips. The amount of fresh fruit and various other foodstuffs on offer at each meal was amazing and you could eat healthily and sufficiently at every mealtime. There obviously just was not enough saturated fat on offer for some people who needed to maintain their figures!
The pool and the sea were cold initially but towards the end of the holiday they were warming up.
The first choice staff were young, inexperienced, and full of promises, that never came to fruition. We booked to go on a couple of trips out and were charged the full amount of lev on to our credit card, fortunately we took a new card out with us which had a low limit and this was declined as the rep had tried to put the amount through in pounds sterling ( thank god he didn't get away with it ). We refused to re book these trips out because of this.
The water park was enjoyed by our son and the entertainment was also enjoyed by him. (sadly not our cup of tea, think butlins in a hotter climate).
We all enjoyed this holiday and have booked to back again this year. We will be going on those trips but will pay by cash when we book.
The only reason we have given this holiday an 8/10 is because of the building works that were going on around the site (due to presidents daughter’s wedding being held there) and the uncultured moaning brits who seemed to forget that this is a reasonably priced holiday and if you want 5 star treatment and gourmet meals then you have to pay for it. And if you want fish and chips every night then go to bloody Blackpool (or better still, stay at home). You know who you are.
I would also like to add that the medical facilities on site were excellent and they even have their own x-ray machine!
For families with young children this is an excellent resort as there is something for everyone. We have recruited more family to go with us this year!

My husband, myself and 5 year old son had a fantastic time last year, so much so that we have booked for this year and there are 9 of us going this time.
The area is lovely, always clean and tidy.
Food was good, entertainment was brilliant and our son loved the kids club.
So all in all a great family holiday.

I spent 2 amazing weeks at the Hotel Royal Park Elenite, I can honestly say that it is the best holiday I have ever been on as the hotel was spotless, there was plenty activities for all ages to enjoy and the staff and guests were all lovely.
There was a wide selection of all inclusive drinks on offer however the food was a bit repetitive but it did not affect the overall holiday experience unless you let it.
I would recommend the holiday to families as it is a great secure resort for children as well as having lots of entertainment for adults.
I am planning to go back next year where I am meeting other people who I met whilst I was there, if all these people go back to the resort every year then it cant be bad.

Decided to book a last minute holiday for myself and my 7 year old son, my sister and her 8year old daughter. After checking out the reviews we were a little apprehensive but on arrival that was soon forgotten.
Lovely sea view rooms each which were cleaned daily and fresh towels whenever you required them. Water park was free which was great fun for the kids and adults.
Only one major complaint about this holiday - the henna tattoo stall within the complex - after 1 visit to the complex medical centre and 4 visits to our local hospital my sons arm was badly burned by his tattoo and I’m now told it will take at least 1 year to heal.

Just returned from 2 week at Elenite village. Stayed in there villas best view I have ever had, though this was due to the 52 steps I had to climb.
Room clean, fridge, aircon and TV in room. Safety deposit box in room though had to pay for this.
Nessebar restaurant, always lots of choice but often cold, I basically lived on soup and salad for 2 week.
Animation team put on very good shows in the animation hall, bingo was also played in here, I played once, and that was enough for me. After 10 30 not much to do unless you wanted to go in the night club, I didn’t bother. Yes you had to pay for drinks in some bars if you object then don’t go to these bars.
Went in the waterpark ,you have to pay 5 lev if you sit on a sun bed and 5 more lev for a brolly, some tight people just put their belongings in a pile at the side of pools. I enjoyed the water park and nearly went on a slide didn’t quite make it (phobia I have) my partner went on several of the slides and enjoyed himself.
Walked around the crazy golf, yes you have to pay for this and saw a snake, only a small one and not sure what sort it was, scared me though.
Went to Nessebar by boat , nice place though watch for people putting fake gold etc on you, did this to my partner and would not let him go, I was pulling him one way and woman pulling him the other way, quite funny really. Also went into Sunny beach for day , ok lots of shops all selling same things, bars offering free drinks etc.
I have to mention Keiro probably spelt his name wrong. Really nice person put up with me for 2 week in the shooting range. No I never hit the target, though pellet bounced back and hit my partner twice and myself once.
I would go back and recommend it, though would go earlier in the season as weather not very good, and needed warm clothes on a night.

This was our first all-inclusive holiday, and we were not sure what to expect of Bulgaria. The resort itself was very nice, although first impressions upon leaving the airport were that we were entering a building site. Once we arrived at the Elenite Holiday Village we were much happier, it is a lovely layout, really good beach and swimming pool area, and fantastic weather. There were lots of good activities to keep us amused throughout the day, including bowling, pool, volleyball etc. Pretty much all we required.
The rooms were lovely very spacious and clean.
Nessebur was nice, and we had already been warned not to bother going to Sunny Beach. (We live near Newquay, so we know what busy tourist destinations are like.) We would highly recommend catching the bus to Nessebur it only cost us 10 lev each for a return ticket, and the boat was 20 lev each for a return.
There were three main down points which really let the hotel and the resort down hence the 5/10 rating.
1. Reception - They have absolutely no concept of providing good customer service, we experienced numerous occasions where we were just left waiting to be dealt with while the receptionists had conversations on their mobile telephones or with each other, completely ignoring us and other people waiting for assistance. Their English also left a lot to be desired. Simple requests were made much more difficult than they should have been.
2. Food - The main Nessebur restaurant had a very repetitive selection of food, the service was poor and the food sometimes cold. I would highly recommend going to the Sozopol and Tatlaya restaurants where the food was similar but service much better.
3. Close down - After about 10.30pm there was nothing to do, apart from go into a bar where you had to pay in certain bars, there had been no previous mention that after a certain time the 'all inclusive' local drinks would be charged for. There also should have been some form of Adult entertainment late at night.

Just back from one week of hell in the Elenite Holiday Village.
First impressions of the hotel were great. Nice safe beach close by. Villa accommodation was reasonable, clean with T.V and air conditioning included. Swimming pools looked good. Found the food to be reasonable if set up more for German tastes.
The first two days we had the usual stomach complaints when on a foreign holiday however on the third day things got worse and spent the rest of the holiday unable to eat and mostly on the toilet. We spoke to many other guests and they were suffering the same problem. We were travelling as a couple with only ourselves to look after whereas some of the families were really suffering with both parents and children falling ill. I am not sure if the food was the problem because we were unable to eat after the second day. I am inclined to think that there is a bug in the complex that is being passed from guest to guest similar to the winter vomiting bug the hospitals here suffer from. This was our first and last all-inclusive holiday as we got very little value due to this illness.

We have just returned from our family holiday in the Elenite Holiday Village. Before we went we had read some of the reviews and we were abit worried of what to except but we went with an open mind. How wrong we were - it was worse than we could have ever imagined.
1. All-inclusive does not mean everything. You have to pay for sun beds and brollies at the water park plus they are bringing in an entry fee of 10 lev's for people over 0.9m tall, 5 levs per bed and brollie and drinks 3 times more than anywhere else.
2. Some of the entertainment is payable up to 25 lev's per person.
3. Two of the bars are also payable.
The food was bad really bad. We have not had a warm meal for 11days as the cooked food was cold - nothing but stew and chips and a bit of salad.
The rooms are ok, big but I wouldn't say they were clean. Maids don't really no what work is and that goes for most of the staff at this hotel.
Sunny Beach is like Blackpool only alot dirtier. It cost 45 lev's for a round trip from the hotel. Food and drinks were alot cheaper there
We are not the sort of family to complain but we really did have a bad holiday. This hotel needs to be sorted out as overall it is a nice resort but the all-inclusive deal really lets it down and so does the lack of things to do around the resort - we spent alot of money. We could have done a 5 star hotel all in for as much as we had to spend on all the extra things not included. We will not be going back and would really like anyone whom is going to make sure they have plenty of spending money and not to rely on all- inclusive. We have done lots of holidays over the past few years and we have done all- inclusive before and had fab times.
