Desire Resort & Spa Hotel

This was myself and my wife's first trip to a lifesyles resort, we were very nervous at first upon arriving.. but after getting our luggage taken care of and heading to the beach, it did not take long to get more relaxed about the nudity. After the first day , all the anxiety was gone,, We met some wonderful couples and were treated very warmly and very respectful. What a place. Trip was from June 8-June 14, 2004. Never had been to a resort much less a clothing optional resort but this was great! The rooms were nice, the A/C was COLD! The food was wonderful and the staff more than the usual "How may I help you? " type. Even if it did rain most of the time there was something to do. The nudity was simply liberating! If you want and place that is very romatic this is it.It is not a place for prudes. everybody does there own thing some nude some not people are very friendly. rooms are good. food is so so about the same as all inclusive places are. We have spent over 50,000 in last ten years on vactions and I would not trade any of them for this one. we plan to return next year. if you want a place where there is no screaming kids and no loud teenagers this is the place to take your wife or girl friend for the best time of your life enjoy

We had great expectations for this resort before we got there but were very disappointed by our rooms, the events, the watered down booze and the cheap single branded beer. The only thing we enjoyed was the hot tub which was very unique. The private room behind the dance bar was boring and there was not much activity. My wife and I just returned from Desire. It was our first experience with a nude vacation and we went with some apprehension, thinking things could be sleazy or less than expected.Happy to say we had the time of our lives - what incredible fun for a "happy and solid" couple to play in. Yes!!!!! Excellent. Weather was great, Food could not have been any better. The help around the resort was always helpful, and cheerful. Accomdation was above average. There were things to do every night, and the days were filled with plenty of beautiful sights to see, and I do mean beautiful. If your bold, you'll love this place. Can't be shy though, and if you are you'll get used to things in know time at all.

We had the pleasure of vacationing at the Desire Resort in March 2004. What an amazing place!! To be honest, we were terrified, not knowing what to expect when we first arrived at the resort, but after 10 minutes, felt completely comfortable. My wife and I just got back from desire. We were there from April 16 to the 22nd. Over all we had a very nice time and we plan on going back in December. I gave it 4 stars but it would have gotten 5 if it wasn't for a few things. We have been to some other resorts so we have a decent amount of places to compare it to. We've been to many all-inclusive resorts and don't expect the food to be a highlight of any day. We go on vacations to relax and also meet interesting people. So, as expected, the food was mediocre, the place was very relaxing and there were plenty of interesting people to be found. It was our first experience at nude bathing, but we loved it. Just got back from Desire. I'm not here to bash or to sing the praises, just to give facts (as I see them). It was a nice place, it had a utopia feeling with the mood music floating about the resort and the white sheets of the bed swings blowing with the breeze. The grounds of the resort were well kept, and the people there were quite relaxed. The staff on most parts were quite good. Now for the flip side of the coin.
