Londres Hotel

we booked through greatlatedeals.co.uk. We paid £116.00 for 3 nights for a triple room bed and breakfast. We found this great value for money. You do get what you pay for as rooms basic but a nice hotel and the staff were very friendly especially the bar man who was particauarly helpful. It's a good location close to the beach only problem is the hill it's not too bad but may be a struggle for some people. There is loads of restaurants on beach front and in Cascais which is only about a 20 min walk away at a gentle pace.... more

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and as a young, lone traveller i found the staff extremely helpful. they even went as far as to rub sun lotion when i couldn't reach! my portuguese isn't so good and a helpful receptionist even gave me a few pointers with the language. I wanted to go to a nightclub one evening and the receptionist ordered the taxi, recommending a great place to me. the room was very clean and modern, as was the whole hotel -- which suprised me for the excellent price and 3 star rating! i had two beds and a pleasant... more

i was at the londres hotel in last december, to tell the truth, i did liked at all, the staff is great, breakfast and dinner was fantastic, didnt see any bad food at all.by the contrary food was great like i said. the minor was only the room, but i didnt really care , cause must the time i was out the hotel or by the bar enjoying some drinks with my other half. i going back and that a Sure answer to enjoy another experience. my best regards to hotel londres

We stayed three nights in this hotel, and found it excellent. The rooms were plain but spotlessly clean. The breakfasts suited us perfectly, with muesli, fresh fruit and yoghurt on offer, but also bacon and eggs if a cooked breakfast was preferred. We didn't use any of the hotel facilities as we were out all day visiting Sintra and the surrounds but it all looked nice.

The Londres was the worst hotel for food and hard beds i have ever stayed at. If you like cold stewed scrambled eggs and rotten bananas every day for breakfast then this is the place for you. The beds were like sleeping on a slab with bricks for pillows location was poor very steep hill to beach Estoril was dead more life in a corpse. I suggest staying in cascais which is far better all round.Unless you are lucky enough to book the Pica Pao see write ups.

We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Londres and had a suite as we were 3 persons. It was clean, nice furniture... exactly what one would expect of a 3 stars hotel. The breaskfast was ok, it had also warm eggs and bacon. The casino in Estoril is only a 5 minutes walk away. I once red that there are no parking spots... I always parked like at less than 50 meters from the entrance. Overall, it was ok for a 3 stars hotel

We got this through Priceline and I have to say that the discount really left us astonished: we ended up paying around 38 euros a day for a double room (original price 75 euros), maybe even cheaper than staying a youth hostel! We have just returned from the hotel Londres. The hotel is well kept and managed. It is intimate and has friendly staff. A very clean hotel. High safety focus. Ask for poolsideview. The pool is lovely, heated (!) which is quite unusual. Breakfastbuffet with fresh fruit, a selection of hot drinks and various coffees. The location is magnificent . 5 minutes walk to the train station (to centre of Lisbon ). 4 minutes walk to the beachwalk. You you are in a walking distance to the center of Cascais. Value for money.

I spent 7 nights in the Hotel Londres, Estoril during the month of April. The breakfasts were fine - lovely bread, scrambled egg, rashers and frankfurters - cold meats , ham, cheese, fruit, cereal etc. The dinners were not great only a choice of two menus - one meat and one fish - not presented very well and quite cold some of the time. There was no entertainment at night....The hotel was very clean and the staff were very pleasant but as far as the food goes plenty of room for improvement.
